  In the book of Marcus Geduld "AfterEffectsExpressions" it is an example (p.145) which reads:

  It is an expression is applied to one of the points in a gradient effect 4 colors. It returns an error message:

  Bad method arguments: propertyIndex cannot be used in this property. It seems strange that this book has a whole section that uses this expression is not valid.

  BTW, I found a number of typos in the book which I like and that you have learned a lot from. I would contact him if there was a link in his book, but I can't find anything. If anyone can understand it that I would really appreciate it.

  I think the problem is that when the book was written, thisProperty is implied when it relates to the housing property attributes the expression. Somewhere along the line it was changed so that now you have to include it explicitly. This should work:

  Effect ("4-Color gradient"). Param (thisProperty.propertyIndex - 2).valueAtTime(time-.5)

  Is it possible that I can patch many times to the same expression in the same layer of property? What happens if I hold my camera to run the same expression at different points in the composition?

  I have an old airport express (used as an extender) and a Comcast cable modem. In order to get a signal on my iPhone (AT & T), I had a microphone AT & T cell. I can't use the microphone cell as there is only a single port ethernet on the modem. If I buy a new Terminal Airport Express or extreme, either will work as an Extender of the internet to my computers iMac so that boost the signal of my iPhone?

  If they both work (see above), port (WAN or LAN) must be connected to the extension of the computer and that for increase of cell signal? Thanks for your help.

  If your modem is a simple modem, an AirPort base station would work. For the extension, the 'old' AirPort Express should be a 802.11n model if you want to do it with a wireless connection between base stations.

  By "restart my iPhone signal" If you are referring to his cellular signal, then no.. Only the MicroCell can do that.

  I have an iMac, a macmini an express airport. I want to send 720 p video to the Apple TV 2 iMac (or macmini) but send audio to the express from the airport which is connected to my stereo.   My express airplay airport appeared on iTunes (macbook pro with El Capitan), but it does not appear on my iPhone (6 s more with the last update iOS 10.0.2).  I have an old iPhone (iOS 9.3.5) 5 c and airtime appears that iPhone.  Don't know why I can't see it on my main iPhone, can not see on macbook pro on option of airtime on the menu bar top-side wifi unique display and clock are located.   On macbook pro if I open iTunes it appears through the iTunes program.  I restarted all my routers, modem, computer and telephone, still no luck.  Any suggestions to find my airplay?

  Still not listed is not on my macbook pro well.  If I go into the audio output on computer settings I'm able to find, very strange.

  By 'old' are you referring to the AirPort Express (model A1084) to 802.11 g? If Yes, then you won't be able to use it to extend the latest Express with a wireless connection between them.

  However, you can use it in a roaming network configuration, which would force base stations to be connected by Ethernet.

  I recently bought an Apple AirPort Express router and I have several problems using the Ethernet with the most active airport. The thing is with my old router, I could have been connected to the ethernet cable, while at the same time connected with a LAN cable to my Macbook (end of 2015). The old router would have generated a wifi connection, but at the same time, would have enabled internet connection by cable to my Macbook without the active WiFi. People could use WiFi at home, but the Macbook would be connected to the internet by cable (lan cable connected to the router)

  My question is how to turn on a cable connection on my Macbook using the AirPort Express LAN cable, while at the same time, keep WiFi active. Currently, I have the ethernet cable connected to the airport and cable Lan also connected to the airport and the Macbook, but the internet will not work unless the WiFi is active. I would like to turn off the WiFi on the Macbook and always have an internet connection through the LAN cable that is connected between the AirPort Express device and Macbook.
