Toshiba 40BV801B LCD TNT HD

I recently bought a Toshiba 40BV801B LCD TNT HD which works fine but will not show anything other than a black screen on the channels of DTT HD 101, 102, 103, etc. (BBC and ITV).

Is this likely to be a problem with my particular model or a requirement for an update of the firmware or something else?

If this is could a requirement of the firmware someone please post the link of the relevant firmware download.

Hello

To download the firmware, you can check this product TV Toshiba firmware download page:
http://www.DL.Toshiba.com/dly/index.jsp?region=GB&lang=en

But to be honest, I think you should check the TNT page for details on the problems of possible channels.

    Hello

I have a problem with my Toshiba 40RV753 and stuttering watching TNT HD. I first noticed what is happening to all about November 2014. I replaced my original antenna, cable connections and who has not solved the problem.

Issuer = Winter Hill, North West, England.
Distance = approximately 5 miles, line view.
Aerial is Vision V10 - 36L periodic journal.
Cable is 15 meters Webro WF100.
Toshiba 40RV753, applied new firmware 10.2.63.5 release.

The stuttering occurs frequently watching TNT HD using the 40RV753 of Toshiba, built in tuner. I tested it with treatment and image color, resolution + power options. Stuttering is even more evident during the movement containing, or scrolling panoramic scenes.

I didn't notice any stuttering watching TNT SD using the 40RV753 of Toshiba, built in tuner.

I have not noticed any stuttering while using the Toshiba 40RV753 a HDMI input from my PC, works of HDMI input perfectly with no stutter.

I have not noticed any stuttering while using the same antenna and cable connected to a PCTV, Freeview HD tuner works perfectly with no stutter.

My neighbors that Panasonic TV works perfectly when connected to my antenna.

My Toshiba 40RV753 suffers from stuttering when it is connected to my air neighbors.

(De) Fortunately I have two Toshiba 40RV753 and the problem occurs on two televisions.

    Someone at - it ideas?

    Hello

Try to reset the TV by default and to retune the tuner of channels especially the HD.
To be honest that's all what you do...

I m not very well why the DTT channels cannot be received correctly, but from my point of view of a few weak signals could cause this problem.

Google for TNT choppy HD picture and you will get many hits. It seems that more people have issues similar receipt TNT

  • Toshiba ciolour lcd TV problem

I have a Toshiba LCD TV model 39 L D-2333 number 14K 06154 color has. This device no longer works correctly. It was bought from the supermarket Sainsburys in the United Kingdom and operate without problem for a little more than 12 months. He is now out of warranty. Sainsburys do not wish to know the problem. Toshiba has just say that they are not interested unless they get an engineer's report. This TV has been configured to operate through sky. Without warning, the game began to search for channels (presumably for other channels from the sky). The scan operated until it reaches 100%. At that, he returned to start the scan working again until he again reached 100%. Yet once it restarted the scan. The remote refuses to intervene, and none of the manual buttons on the unit itself works and does not intervene. I unplugged the unit and left for 30 minutes, reconnected to the sky and lit. The same thing happened again - he has started to digitize, 100% and have finished, returned to the analysis all over again and so on. Yet once the remote control would not not work a manual button. I unplugged the sky. I then linked to an air Freeserve and lit. Yet once he began immediately to scan. Hoping that he could complete the scan and return to normal operation it scanned at 100% and returned again to scan all over again. The remote only, or the buttons work and the unit fails to function as a TV. Did I miss something in the process or someone has a solution to the problem (apart from switch to scrap)?

Is there anyone out there with no help to give about my problem?

  • Tecra M10 and Express Port Replicator, no DVI to Toshiba 20 "LCD output

    Hello

As the bed of the subject line, I will put up a new Tecra M10 with the Express Port Replicator and monitor LCD Toshiba Tekbright 20 ".

The system works on Windows XP, and the ordinary VGA connection on the port replicator works fine when connected to the external LCD.

However, there seems to be no way to get the DVI interface on port replicator, working on the LCD.

I tried to run this utility, and it does not detect the DVI monitor at all.
    http://www.entechtaiwan.com/util/moninfo.shtm

I have updated graphics drivers Intel for XP, form the Web from Toshiba site and also have the latest version of the BIOS.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you very much
    Paul

    Hello paul

Your Tecra M10 has DVI port?
Replicator port is not some sort of converter and it will be just a loop through the signal directly from the laptop.
If the computer laptop doesn t supports DVI output you cannot expect to get signal from the port replicator.

  • Portege R500 Toshiba 19AV505D TV LCD connection

I want to connect my Portege R500 laptop to a Toshiba 19AV505D LCD TV.

I tried to use a HDMI VGA cable and change the screen resolution of 800 x 600 and 16-bit color, but it does not recognize the tv.
    Any ideas?

Device manual says use a DVI cable to HDMI and I tried this first with a VGA Converter (as there is no socket DVI on the R500) but that didn't work either.
Would be a SCART to VGA cable work?

What VGA-> HDMI adapter are you using?

    What version HDMI support?

Maybe the TV requires HDMI v1.2 or v1.3 (see user manual)

  • Satellite L300-1AQ connection to Toshiba Regza 37 '' LCD AV series 37AV505DB

I think buying the Satellite L300-1AQ, how will I be able to connect to my Toshiba Regza 37 '' LCD?

The LCD has no HDMI VGA port only 2, is a Toshiba laptop equipped with an HDMI port?
What is the most cost-effective way on the connection of all laptops Toshiba to my LCD TV?

    Thanks for your help...

    Hello

AFAIK the L300-1AQ supports only RGB (VGA port) port.
This port provides only the analog signal and I doubt that you will be able to connect to the HDMI port because you cannot convert an analog signal into a digital signal.

I put t know the other ports that is supported by the Toshiba Regza LCD 37 ", but I think that in this case, the HDMI port is not useful.

    Good bye

  • 32D1334B LCD TV - not light power light flashes red & Green

I have a Toshiba 32D1334B LCD TV, it used to work perfectly well and then all of a sudden, it will not activate.
When I plug in the TV, the power automatically light flashes red and green permanently. There is no way to turn on the TV; the screen remains black.

I had to take off the back, watched and deleted all the parts, but can not see the obvious problems. I also a multimeter and power to the various sections of the TV is, but that's as far as my electrical knowledge goes!

I don't really know what else to try, but I am very reluctant to throw away the TV that I know it's probably a unique piece that needs to be replaced to fix it. I searched online and others have reported the same problem exactly, but it had not resolved there always. Unfortunately, TV is more under warranty... If anyone has any suggestions or can provide any help, then it would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance.

If you find out how to fix it please let me know because my tv is the same.chris

  • Toshiba TV 22L1333G - how it turns on?

    Part I-

    Hi all

My company has recently acquired some Toshiba 22L1333G LCD TVs. In all of them and the workers of the company, no one can seem to have a simple experience, turn it on. Some of us already have scrapped using this template, because it's really infuriating working with this TV.

The TV is in mode standby (indicator light is a solid red - no flashing) and I press the button 'walk' on the remote control. Sometimes the TV puts nicely and works as expected, after that and I can access the menu of the TV, choose the signal source and play TV - basically, I it works normally.

However, more often than otherwise, after I pressed the button on the remote, the led starts flashing red and green - forever! When the TV is turned on the State, does not have the signal from any source, or it responds to commands sent from the remote - there's just like that, led flashing and the screen are off - useless.
When I'm tired, I reset its power source, in the hope of resolving the problem.

However, most of the time it will fuel with it of flashing led and unresponsive - as if it was before I stopped him! I will then proceed to reset its power a few times (the number of times I have to reset the power of the TV so that he can work seems random to me) until he finally decides to work. Therefore, it works fine.

Also, sometimes, the led flashes after a cycle of power and the key "power on" press (at this point, I start assuming I'm going to need another power cycle), but after a few seconds (say, 2 seconds after I press the button 'walk' on the remote control) to recover from its state of stupidity and play TV and change It is brought to a green.

After that the TV works great too.

    Hello

The problem described seems a bit like the TV could use active standby mode.
Active standby LED sometimes takes longer time out because when active the watch is turned on the TV search automatically all the channels available for updates, automatic update condition is enabled.

The time taken to do this may vary. In this case, the LED flashes red and green in this mode.
It seems that you can use the wheel menu on the left side of the TV to change this function

Here is the user manual which describes this mode (page 14 and 44)

    Hello!

This topic can be placed so apologies in advance, but I was wondering if Toshiba have created all of the Windows XP Display drivers for LCD screens?

  • Tecra M2: How to connect on port DVI - D LCD with DVI - I and at 1600 x 1200

My Toshiba Tecra M2 has a GeForce FX go5200. Docking station has a DVI - D port.

I want to use an external LCD screen which is equipped with a DVI - I port.

When you connect a DVI - D cable to the DVI - D between the ports and monitor Replicator and if I set to 1600 x 1200 which is desired (and support for the resolution of the screen) then the display does not fit in the liquid crystal display and therefore the screen starts to pan.

If I use a (next to the PC) VGA / DVI - I (next to the screen) cable then I wanted resolution of 1600 x 1200.

    Please advise so how:

Connect the Port DVI - D from Toshiba to LCD with DVI - I and at 1600 x 1200.

  • Satellite T130 - HDMI display does not

    Hello

I'm trying to view my Toshiba Satellite T130 on my Toshiba 32 '' LCD TV, model 32BV702B, using an HDMI cable. The computer recognizes the TV and when you use desktop double or extended, the builtin laptop screen behaves as expected. However, the TV shows "No Signal" when the HDMI input is selected.

We have another laptop with an HDMI output, and this configuration works very well. On two laptops, we use a 1366 x 768 display.

Anyone know how I can get this working on the Toshiba laptop?

    Thank you.
    Ellie.

(P.S. It seems that someone had a similar problem: [http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?messageID=205123]. In this case, the solution was to use a VGA instead of HDMI cable and the original problem has not been resolved. I really want to use my HDMI cable!

Well, the other option attempts to retrieve the laptop using the HARD drive recovery or a recovery created with preinstalled Toshiba Recovery creator software image.

I read that the other thread and the other user did not try this
On the other hand, you can try to set the default BIOS and save the changes. Do not forget that the HDMI is it activated.

    Also, try this:
Disconnect the battery and AC adapter
Wait a few hours (3-4 hours) and then press the power button / stop for 30 seconds.
Connect the two parts, and then test the laptop computer s HDMI.
