Toshiba 40RV753 - stuttering TNT HD

Hello

I have a problem with my Toshiba 40RV753 and stuttering watching TNT HD. I first noticed what is happening to all about November 2014. I replaced my original antenna, cable connections and who has not solved the problem.

Issuer = Winter Hill, North West, England.
Distance = approximately 5 miles, line view.
Aerial is Vision V10 - 36L periodic journal.
Cable is 15 meters Webro WF100.
Toshiba 40RV753, applied new firmware 10.2.63.5 release.

The stuttering occurs frequently watching TNT HD using the 40RV753 of Toshiba, built in tuner. I tested it with treatment and image color, resolution + power options. Stuttering is even more evident during the movement containing, or scrolling panoramic scenes.

I didn't notice any stuttering watching TNT SD using the 40RV753 of Toshiba, built in tuner.

I have not noticed any stuttering while using the Toshiba 40RV753 a HDMI input from my PC, works of HDMI input perfectly with no stutter.

I have not noticed any stuttering while using the same antenna and cable connected to a PCTV, Freeview HD tuner works perfectly with no stutter.

My neighbors that Panasonic TV works perfectly when connected to my antenna.

My Toshiba 40RV753 suffers from stuttering when it is connected to my air neighbors.

(De) Fortunately I have two Toshiba 40RV753 and the problem occurs on two televisions.

Someone at - it ideas?

Hello

Try to reset the TV by default and to retune the tuner of channels especially the HD.
To be honest that's all what you do...

I m not very well why the DTT channels cannot be received correctly, but from my point of view of a few weak signals could cause this problem.

Google for TNT choppy HD picture and you will get many hits. It seems that more people have issues similar receipt TNT

  • Toshiba HDR5010 DTT recorder will not turn

I had a few problems with this camera crashing to which I can live with a quick restart and return to normal but now it turn on at all.

I have the red light comes on but no image, and it seems to have frozen I can't move channels etc..

I contacted toshiba who ask for £130! whether fixed more than unit costs, so I was wondering if someone had one of them and can see what could be the problem?

I realize that it is inadvisable etc but I'll be open to suggestions that might be wrong and I may be able to fix me.

Worse is worse does someone has any suggestions what I could use a TNT recorder broken for? : D

(P.S. Yes it's out of warranty)

    Thank you

    > I had a few problems with this camera crashing to which I can live with a quick restart and return to normal but now it turn on at all.

It seems that hardware problem. Don t think you have many options to solve this problem.

Above all it s not worth to fix a device if it s out of warranty because as you said already. repair costs are higher than the unit costs.

  • Satellite U940 - stuttering & audio dropouts using NI Traktor Pro

    Hello

I am DJ & artist and recently bought a toshiba for sets dj ultrabook parade and live sets with traktor pro.
I also do computer repairs so I know my way around the pc...

Now, at the beginning I had an occasional stuttering or interruption, which I blamed on the system settings, so I made a few tweaks here and there, disabled some stuf, uninstalled some bloatware...
    Everything seemed ok.

But my last show was a nightmare, suddenly all hell broke loose! Stutters major interruptions and I had to put in a cd backup which is pretty stupid when live...

Now, before everyone says its software trakor or a material that is causing the problem... No, this is not!
A lot of testing already before posting here

This is a finding of latencymon:

    * CONCLUSION *.

Your system seems to have difficulties of audio manipulation in time real and other tasks. You may experience dropouts, clicks or POPs - due to breaks. A problem may be related to power management, clear the settings in the configuration of the BIOS and CPU limit sign. Automatically search for updates to the BIOS.

Now for 1000 new machine announced as Monster media is not how this machine should run.
My last chance, if I don't find the sollution is format all and put on clean windows 7 without all the stuff of toshiba which could cause this...

You mentioned the Wdf01000.sys (Kernel Mode Driver Framework) files in your message.
As much as I know, that it is a hardware driver internal Microsoft which is placed in
    C: the folder \Windows \System32 \drivers.
The driver gives you access to the computer or ancillary equipment.

The reason why this file appear as a troublemaker can be connected to external devices connected to the USB ports as external mouse or other device.

To be honest, I wouldn't recommend disable or delete this file because it s a clean Windows driver and may be important to keep the system working properly.

In your case I recommend you check the connected 3rd party devices and also to test the combination of Traktor and Sat with connected U940 adapter mains or battery only. Also test it with WLAN enabled.

Your comments and good luck would be appreciated

  • NB200 stuttering mouse

I have the NB200, purchased July 29 to Harvey Normans (Dublin). The question that I have is the same as that which is currently under discussion in the American forum of Toshiba, see http://laptopforums.toshiba.com/t5/Keyboards-Touchpads/NB205-N311-W-Touchpad-Issues/td-p/40901

(Now, the American model is referred to as NB205, but other than a change in number, in my opinion, that there is no other difference.)

The issue: the mouse stutters and freezes as you move your finger on the touch pad, that is, do not respond to your finger movement. Enough to be more irritating in constant use.

Now, I've been on Toshiba support, and they say that they have had no reports of such a problem in Europe, mine being perhaps the first? After being on them a few times, most recently this morning, we tried several things including reinstalling the driver (the preinstalled one was the most up to date, as it happens), playing with the touchpad settings to make it more responsive to the touch and go in the Windows Task Manager > process and by setting the "priority" on two list of image names relevant .exe it to "high". I am skeptical about the question to know if this has improved the situation, I'll see tonight what is my experience. First experience suggested that these changes were not working.

The question at the heart is if the problem is a hardware or a software curiously, I said if it's a software problem and I return the Toshiba netbook for verification of diagnosis, I will lead a cost that the guarantee does not apply to software, EVEN if the problem is with the Alps driver installed! The suggestion that I was left with is to clean the machine and do a fresh install, confirm then the problem still exists and if so, return to Harvey Norman or send to Toshiba for repair (if it's a hardware problem!).

As you'll see in the above mentioned American threads, the Toshiba admin in forum acknowledges the problem and says studying there.

My question here: others are on this side of the Atlantic with the same experience as me and you can shed some light on this? Much appreciates your comments, even a solution! I love this netbook with the exception of this very irritating issue and do not want to give up on this.

    Other information:
    (a) I tested a usb mouse and it works fine, no problem.
    (b) I tried with the support from toshiba on the phone to test the touchpad in SafeMode with no joy. the touchpad does not work in safe mode! The Toshiba technician on the phone tried with its netbook and had the same experience in safe mode. He thinks that it is an unrelated question, but this meant not to diagnose the problem was not easy.

    Thanks, Eddie

Hi, I just bought my NB200 yesterday and am having the same problem.
It's really frustrating when I try to click on something by tapping the touchpad and sometimes it is not a click or I have to type many times and a little more difficult to get a single click.

I formatted the hard drive and installed windows 7 to see if that helps, but nothing helped. Also tried installing the latest driver Alps and adjust settings and these are always the same.

So, I came to the conclusion that the most sense.
The NB200 is equipped with an anti-shock mechanism that avoids damaging the drive hard when it is moved or struck, and it's a little too sensitive for my taste.
My guess is that when the anti-shock mechanism is used, it may cause stuttering of the mouse.

I don't know if this could be the problem or not, I just wanted to share my thoughts on it.

  • Satellite Pro P100 - 465 Vista - video playback stutters, slows down

I'm at my wits end :-(

updated the drivers uninstalled - re installed drivers - drivers (nvidia does not even list the Go 7600 graphics card for vista - used another recommmened site on this site) - changed the resolution of the screen, changed bit screen depth, removed anti virus - a lot of system resources still available on each reading single video file slows down and speeds up or stutters especially bad when I have full screen.

Tried different video files and DVD, different codecs and players, vlc, media player classic, display the time of Nero, WMP etc etc, all are made. Looks like others have had similar problems and thought that maybe they had other ideas to solve this one?

Is there something that I have not tried? Please let me know... Thanks for your help

  • Satellite Pro P100 - WinDVD stutters during playback

Satellite toshiba windvd Pro100 stutters during playback of dvd movies - worse yet, when you use windows Vista media player - can help you solve?

  • Satellite P100 - v4.70 update BIOS stuttering in games

    Hello

I had a problem with the Bios v4.70. Since I flashed my BIOS I had regular stops in my games. Looks like the game crashes every 3 seconds for a short time. I got the BIOS v4.50 before without problem. I would use v4.70 because since the new version of my graphics cooling fan card responses to temperature again.

With recent versions, that I had the problem the fan worked only when I pressed the temperature of the gfx over 104 ° C. seems there is an emergency program that starts the fan and keep running at a constant average level. When I turn on my pc, I have to repeat this procedure. It's pretty boring, so I was very happy to see that the new BIOS has solved my problem. Maybe someone knows a solution.
I know there are already discussions with stuttering in the game, but the solutions won t fit for me.

I use a pilot updated the gfx, because Toshiba release new ones.
My system is a Toshiba Satellite P100-354
    Processor: 2 GHz dual core
gfx: geforce go 7900gs 512 MB with forceware v185.20
OS: Win Vista 32 bit Ultimate

    > I use a pilot updated the gfx because Toshiba release new ones.
I think that's the reason. No Toshiba drivers don t have overheating protection and therefore the graphics card may be damaged. It s recommended to use the drivers from the site of Toshiba, because with these drivers, you are on the safe side.

Check the Toshiba website for the latest drivers and I think that the problem will be solved:

  • Some problems with Toshiba TV 47L 6453

    Hello

I have some problems with this TV, as follows

-I need to re tune the tv several times a day to receive a complete list of channels.
-The guide shows a TNT channel with program information, when a program is selected, I get a message indicating that the channel can not be tuned. However when I touch the channel it displays the string correctly.
-Program data is not displayed on several channels. Sometimes this can be improved in re-tuning.

Can I have a TV that is defective, or is it considered normal for this toshiba tv. I have a lot running off the same ariel who doesn't have these problems of adjustment so I know that it's not that older television.

Any help here then. Just to add insult the YouTube app decided to stop working. This TV keeps guessing you as to what will work on any given day.
Without a doubt the worst little waste tech, I had the misfortune to buy for many years. It has a large image. Such a shame, he struggles to view freeview channels, or smart TV applications.
I will never buy an another Toshiba product again. The previous 7 years tv, that I had to be upgraded is far superior to this piece of unreliable junk. Hope this helps someone to make a wise buying decision. Do not buy this TV and become another victim of toshiba.

    Hello

As far as I know the series RL has integrated TNT HD, internet content and catch up TV services including YouTube, BBC iPlayer (for the United Kingdom only) and Facebook, which are easily accessible thanks to WIFI integrated.

You can also access a range other content online Acetrax movies, Twitter, Livesport.TV and more via the internet portal Toshiba Places accessible via your TV set using a button.

But I have found no information on Netflix.

Also I know NetFlix is NOT available in all countries

  • Satellite L500-13V - his stutters and sometimes portable lock

His stutters all the other songs when playing music, stuttering sometimes results in the laptop locked up and stuck on the nasal sound. Only way to turn off is to remove the battery. Vista 64-bit installed. Nothing installed other that what came with the laptop.

Must be a driver issue, but no update.
Any ideas before returning for refund?

    Hello!

I checked the Web from Toshiba site and there I found a update the sound card driver. This driver is already installed?
In addition, the Web of Toshiba site shows me updating BIOS for Satellite L500. You should try this update, maybe it works.

Alternative I would try the Realtek audio driver directly. Maybe on the Web from Realtek site, you can find a newer version.

  • Satellite 1800 - DVD stutters, video playback is delayed and the audio is garbled

    Hi all!

I hope you can help me with this problem. When I try to play a DVD on my Toshiba S1800, playback stutters, video and audio wise, which of course is irritating. I was wondering if this could be a hardware malfunctions or perhsps due to a bad driver software?

I have tried different DVD software players, and they all have the same show. I heard it could be because that the IDE controllers were not set to DMA mode, but they are on this device. Any of you have suggestions of what causes this problem?

    Thanks in advance,
    Danny.

What DVD do you play? An original DVD movies or a serious media.
Have you checked the drive with the audio CD? Is it possible to play audio CDs without worries?

I m not 100% sure, but maybe what it s only a codec problem. If the different codecs are missing audio and video issues sometimes.
