Toshiba do not recognize that my Satellite exists!

Hi all

I hope someone can help me, I bought a Toshiba Satellite almost 3 years of a national computer store and I now find that the battery is dying quickly, not a problem, I thought, I'll just pop on the site and looking for a replacement.

Unfortunately, according to the serial number label, my laptop is a Satellite S2410-504, reference PS241E-5G7U9-EN. I searched the site and have been unable to find it.

I found similar patterns, I know that it is possible to search by part number that I entered the part number for another Satellite and he's got a game, but a search for my part number match, nothing!

I don't understand why Tosh recognize her, it is AFAIK a laptop UK, which was bought by a large national company and must therefore be counted by Tosh.

Anyone know if I am missing something or my laptop is really only once? :-) The main thing I'm interested to know is what type of battery are acceptable to use in it!

Thanks in anticipation!

Hi Chris,

I found the question listed below for laptops series S2410. I suggest that you compare the specifications against your current battery for compatibility.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community.

Is it recognized in Windows Explorer?

If your computer is having problems with a recently installed device or other hardware, try to use the hardware and peripheral troubleshooting tool to solve the problem. It checks the common issues of interest and ensures that a new device or hardware connected to your computer has been installed correctly.

Open the hardware and devices Troubleshooter to check if it detects anything:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/open-the-hardware-and-devices-Troubleshooter

    I hope that helps!

  • Import dialog box does not recognize that some photos were imported.

If I import photos on a map, then eject it and put it later to import the rest, Lightroom does not recognize that some of these photos have been imported - it displays all of the available import photos, although I hear selected Photos.  When I import, I choose to make a second copy, rename the files, and copy as DNG, as well as the file is stored with a different name and an extension of that which exists on the map (as a second copy with original naming is kept), but previously did not prevent Lightroom to recognize that a picture had already been imported.  I think the problem started a month ago, but I can't identify any event related to this work more (post hoc ergo da hoc).  Advice and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

My fault!  LR doesn't have any problem recognizing duplicates, even if you rename the photos.  I had unchecked somehow don't Import suspected duplicates.  Without this checked, the news pictures option is kind of meaningless.

    Hi Alba.

    1. who is the operating system installed on the computer?

    2. What is the brand and model of the computer?

This issue may be caused if one of the following situations arises:

    • The currently loaded USB driver has become corrupt or unstable
    • Your PC requires an update for problems that could conflict with an external hard drive USB and Windows
    • Windows may be missing other problems hardware or software updates
    • Your USB controllers may have become corrupt or unstable
    • External drive can enter selective suspend
    • Your PC motherboard may need updated drivers

I suggest to connect the USB device to a different USB port and check.

    1. #9 step alone can not have solved the behaviour & we wanted to be certain that no "leftovers" Norton formed the scr3wing things.

Laptop is about 2 years old.  Running on the Windows 8 origninal accompanying.  Had the same problem when it was purchased.  He sent to Acer.  Returned with no report / Details.  Has worked very well. Until recently.

Noticed that seeing orange lights up when it feels like load and stops at 35% load.  Load is something dark, don't miss especially.

    Tried:

Stick a PIN in the "battery reset" hole on the back

    Uninstalling the 'API Microsoft' battery

Remove the battery to see if it'll work without it (it has an internal battery)

Of course Acer won't help now since the warranty has expired.

    Please notify.  Thank you.

Power plug has been checked, flinched 19V.

Laptop briefly, then lost load capacity.  Checked power once again, 0V.

    Power adapter is bad.

  • My computer does not recognize that I have two monitors connected.

I have a VGA splitter cable, but even after I used the cord to connect two cords vga to a port, the computer is only noted one of the monitors. So when I go into settings to try to get them to display both, or to identify, the computer notice only a single monitor. So the problem is that my computer does not recognize that there are two put monitors in place.

Cable splitter separates the single signal only. The computer only sees it as an output. You would need a different video card use the two forms as separate monitors instead of simply split the signal.
