  Hello, I have a Toshiba laptop with Windows Vista.  Yesterday it froze completely upward and I had to manually close (hold the power button until stop you him) twice.  The second time when I tried to restart the came Toshiba screen, then the screen with the little scroll down bar, and then it went black, waited for a while, then flashes a bluescreen with a written up VERY quickly and cycles back to the Toshiba screen.  This time after the scroll bar it gives me white saying the writing system could not restart, and I want to start normally or startup repair.   Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

   

   

  Restore point:

  Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

  Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

  Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

  If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

  Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  Download the Vista software from the link above.

  After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.

  Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.

  Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1^st in the boot order.

  Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.

  When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.

  Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.

  Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).

  Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.

  OK, here's the story. A couple of weeks ago, I did a test drive and this error 'problem of intelligent control' came, and after spending some time on the internet, I discovered that I need to change my hard drive.   It seems that you bought a hybrid car and this is probably what causes the error when you try to use your initial recovery disks.

  Here is another solution, you can try which should allow you to load Windows 7 on your new HARD drive.

  Before you try the following, make sure that you can always read the character product activation key 25 on your label Windows COA (5 blocks of 5 alphanumeric games).

  You can create a Windows 7 installation disc yourself using another PC - just download the good Disk Image ( must be the same version that originally came with your laptop - IE Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit ) from the link below and use an app like ImgBurn to burn the ISO correctly on a blank DVD - a guide on the use of ImgBurn to write that an ISO on a disc is Here.   1. check the shadow copy Volume service in the services window. Use the following steps to check:

  i. click on start and type services.msc in the search box

  II. the search for the shadow copy Volume service

  Please let us know the status and startup type. Make sure that the startup type is automatic

  Steps to set the auto services

  i. search for the service

  II. right-click on the service

  III. If the service is stopped and then starts the service

  IV. Select Properties

  v. and in startup type, select automatic

  I have a Satellite S2410-304 equipped with Yamaha AC - XG. After installation of SP2 it used to work normally for 6 months, but somehow the "speaker" icon missing yesterday.

  Device Manager panel shows a yellow exclamation (error code 39) for the device of Yamaha AC - XG. I tried to install the original drivers, the v6.13.10.2152, the v6.13.10.3152 and the most recent 3157, 3159. But every time Windows notifies that the drivers are not MS signed.

• Driver video error Code 10 after the upgrade to Windows 7

  Upgrading to Windows 7 & have the following error messages:

  Standard VGA graphic card work not only can not start (Code 10)

  Converter USB - LAN has no driver

  SMA 851 X USB to Fast Ethernet Adapter

  During the initial installation of Windows 7 the monitor works but when Windows upadates are applied it gives the messages described above. Everything worked then on Vista... but also Vista would work!

  Dell does not have a driver for a monitor solution - 2 years. I was running as an extended desktop on a Dell Inspiron 6400 with 2 GB of RAM, new 500GIG Hitachi hard drives.

  Also cannot load the Office Small Business 2007 Business Contact Manager.

  I understand that you have a Brother printer.  I'm not able to troubleshoot other HP printers.

  Since you get an error message I'm afraid you have a hardware problem with your printer.

  I recommend trying the support on the Brother's Web site option.

  Brother may have information on this error message and how to solve it.  You can verify that the printer is able to print a self-test page or configuration page that has nothing to do with the laptop.  (Stand-alone).

  Error code 2000-0142 usually indicates a failing hard drive / failed, first of all, try to remove and reinstall the hard drive, then re-run the diagnostic tests and see if you receive the same error.

  If the same error is received, the hard drive has failed, then you need to replace it.

  If you have a warranty from Dell, contact Dell Technical Support for a replacement hard drive.

• Toshiba 320 GB external USB HARD drive - 10 error Code

  Basically, I bought one of these today and put everything and he put in place and for some reason, my computer refuses to recognize or even start it.   Code 10 means that the device could not start.
  Make sure you have the latest driver installed for your device. You may also be able to resolve this issue by removing the device in Device Manager, and through the Add New Hardware Wizard in Control Panel.

  It is also possible that your USB HDD needs an external power supply.
  If the USB device needs more than 500 ma, so usually an external power supply is required.

• No access to the DVD drive - 38 error code

  Update Driver published 07/07/08 to 23:59 has been installed on my system as made by Toshiba Tempo but rebooting my machine, I get error 38 (according to Vista) that prevents the new driver installation as the old pilot is resident in memory... ?? Effectively, this means that I can't access or see my DVD player more in other ways than in the page Manager devices Control Panel. Option driver restore is not available, perhaps because it was an update of the firmware. The message on the device properties page is as follows:

  Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device because a previous instance of the device driver is still in memory. (Code 38)

  The installed updatre was frmwre-20080707134447. It includes an Adobe document that tells you what to do and how to ensure that your drive needs to be refreshed, which was easy to follow and loose my machine.

  I tried to uninstall the device and the driver, but whenever I have to reload the same error occurs.

  I'm really impressed and quite embarrassed, because it is a recommended Toshiba firmware update done using their system of Tempo, ideas or advice welcome.

  If so, then remove it from the list of devices.

  Then access the registry and delete the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters completely from the following registry key values:

With 3 bars of signal, they say it's the 720.mkv that's a bad camera or laptop? Can not stream video and Media Player even freezes. Have updates and it started 2 months ago.
