Hi uygur,.

at first I thought your problem your laptop want boot from LAN.

Check the BIOS, could be formulated with pushing the ESC key when the Red TOSHIBA logo appears, enter on boot order (First Boot Device).

I think that your PC is the first device to set startup to local network.

Try this and keep me posted!

  • Update wireless Toshiba Satellite S1900-303: what wi - fi card is compatible?

    Hello

    I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite S1900-303.

I would like to add a Mini PCI WiFi card, the laptop is capable of wireless, as it was an optional upgrade. The wireless antenna is here and the switch and the PCI slot.

I tried using a 2200 GB Intel Pro/Set wireless card but may not turn on,
So I tried a (number PA3458U-1MPC) Atheros wireless card but I can not pass it as well.

There is no option in the Bios to enable

I tried Fn - F8 to swith the card wireless on but nothing happens and the wireless light not, but if I turn on the wireless switch, then press Fn - F8 it came as "Wireless has been disabled, please make sure that the wireless switch has been turn on.

Any suggestions? What could I have been hurt, or did the two cards are incompatible with this laptop?

If so what Wireless mini Pci card would work?

    Thank you

    Hello

I found the info that the mini PCI WiFi card part number: PA3212U-1MPC could be compatible.
There seems to be an Intel Pro 2100 wireless network card that supports the 802. 11b standard Wlan.

My satellite 2410-303 will not read my product recovery CD.
When I turned off my pc with the drive in, I get messages saying that the disk is not formatted correctly.

    Hello

It of weird, is your CD the other disc drive? Have you tried to read your cd of restoration with another computer? If the same error occurs on another computer system, then the cd is probably defective.

Just a question: I guess you want to recover your machine, Don t you?

  • Satellite A200-AH1 does not start problem

I have this Toshiba Satellite A200 - AH1 laptop computer that will not start.

The system has 1 GB of RAM, (2x512MB).

When I remove 1 stick, the system starts without a problem, if I replace it, and the other, the laptop boots also upwards. I tested the two ram slots and ram spent each time.

The problem of the laptop does not start only seems to happen when the laptop has installed two sticks. I tried even to 2 different new corresponding sticks and still nothing until I remove 1 piece of ram.

    Everyone encountered this problem before?
Any ideas what the problem may be.

My only other option would be to install a single piece of 1 GB of ram, but I would really like a better option.

    Thanks in advance...

You got your laptop with these memory modules?
Are you sure that you are using compatible RAM (DDR2-667)?

  • Satellite L30-101 will not boot after memory expansion

    Hello

We have a Toshiba Satellite L30-101 with 512 MB memory

We also bought 2 X 1 GB-compatible modules to extend the memory to its max.

When we installed the two new modules the laptop won't boot.

We tried to install one at the time and both work individually. I also tried 1 X 512 MB
and 1 X 1 GB, which also worked.

It seems that we are not the only one with this problem!

1.5 works much better on le.5 but it doesn't seem to be a shame to have the autres.5 but its unusable!

I think that you have incompatible modules for mode dual channel.
    What RAM do you have?

A module is maybe corrupted and so he doesn t run in mode dual channel.

You can check the module with a program like Memtest86: [www.memtest86.org]

  • Satellite A60 Pro is not booting

    Hello

I hope someone here can help you. I know that this laptop is old ages, but it's the only one my aunt and she would that he repaired if possible.

    Basically, the question is this.
You can start the laptop, all the normal lights light up and the screen with the Toshiba logo and 4 icons at the bottom and then... nothing.

He's sitting there for centuries, showing the logo and nothing more.
You can turn it off by holding the power button down and turn it back on again, same thing.
I did this without the disc without the optical drive and HARD. No difference.

The worst part, without a keyboard input seems to be accepted. I help ESC, F1 and F12 on separate occasions but no change - goes to the screen of tosh, no other movement.

HARD drive and optical drive turn up, as in they make noise and you can feel their displacement.

I'm at a loss and need help please!

    Hello

If the laptop is unable to pass the Toshiba start screen, then this would mean that a serious hardware problem has been detected.
During the startup process, POST (power on self-test) is running (for the POST, you see the Toshiba start screen) and the material is checked. If that fails, the laptop would not boot the system.

I guess something is wrong with the motherboard. You can see the modules of memory, but in the case where the modules are ok, the mobo may be the troublemaker.

  • SATELLITE S1410-303 DOES NOT START

Sorry I realize that this is unrelated to the issue at hand, but I cannot find anywhere the link that allows you to create your own topic.

My mother has a Satellite S1410-303. Under XP, SP2.

The machine won't start at all, and does not for months, when I come back today and it works, the first thing he greeted me with a message.

    Bad RTC battery *.
    Bad checksum (CMOS) *.
check the system. Then press the [F1] key

Since then, I pressed F1, asked for the machine return all settings by default (although there is no change). Since then, the machine performs a loop between:

-commissioning > go to the windows XP page > then restarting.

In the current state it has nothing of real value on the machine that I couldn't lose. If id be happy to wipe everything.

-Is this serious problem or could it be resolve quite easily by wiping the thing?

-If this is the best method, how should I do for wiping?

    Thanks for your time people.

    Hi Luke,.

Messages you get are caused by the battery CMOS on your main map from the apartment. The CMOS battery is rechargeable and will be charged by connecting the laptop adapter, but no turn on/off the laptop. Leave it like that for 12 to 24 hours and then the CMOS battery should be fully charged.

The CMOS battery is used to keep the BIOS settings when the laptop is turned off and since then this has now gone flat it is likely that the BIOS information has been lost, even if a default configuration will always be available. I recommend that once you have reloaded the CMOS battery, you try to start Notepad as usual, but switch (ESC + F1) BIOS Setup screen and check your BIOS settings.

  • Satellite A200 - 19L can not boot from the CD

    Hi guys,.

I'm glad I found this forum site, I pretty well hope to find a solution here.

Well, this problem is not very complicated, in fact my DVD player (model TS-L632) is not read more, so much so I decided to change with a new one, but it is not the same model as the original drive.
It is the case of the generic DVD player really.

Now when I inserted my recovery disk or any bootable disk is not booting the CD, and when I press F12 for I can't find any CD/DVD drive, but running in Windows I can't find the DVD player and it can read any CD priority boot normally.

Just having the problem while booting from CD.
I thought that maybe there is no security for this model that locked some hardware.
So please guys want to help me how to understand it,

any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    > When I press F12 for boot priority I can't find any CD/DVD drive, but running in Windows I can find the DVD player and it can normally read any CD.

The whole story seems really strange to me
If you access the BIOS, you can see the details of the CD/DVD drive? The drive is recognized properly?

If not then I guess that the STRANGE inserted is not totally compatible due to different master/slave/c-salt settings.

    > but running in Windows I can find the DVD player and it can normally read any CD
It s also strange to me so that the CD/DVD drive appears in Device Manager even if the CD/DVD drive Startup menu option does not appear.

    But first check the BIOS

  • Console buttons multimedia Toshiba Satellite A300-08WB do not work

    Hey all,.

I reinstalled the driver and I restored my computer but the buttons backlit Toshiba multimedia Console still does not work.

    Any help appreciated.

    Cheers, Levi

PS. would it not under warranty

    > I reinstalled the driver and I restored my computer
This means that you have used the Toshiba Recovery disk?
Have you created a Toshiba recovery disc at the beginning?

I think that if you didn't use the recovery disc, then the question refers to the missing part of the driver or software

But Satellite A300-08WB is not known to me what model number of the laptop is it?
You can find the numbers at the bottom of the unit

  • Toshiba satellite 2450 s203 does not recognize the atheros wireless network adapter

    Hello!

I have a toshiba satellite 2450 s203 and a network card wireless atheros integrated - somewhere in the laptop - there.

However, I am running win xp pro and the Device Manager IS NOT to FIND THE MAP!

He finds the ethernet card and a 1394 network adapter!

But not the wireless network card!

Any ideas? I downloaded the drivers from the card wireless site but without success!

    What should I do?

    Thank you!

    Hello
The WiFi card is an option for this model for example. It is not included in all machines. You must purchase the correct module for W - lan to work.

If the card is installed in the machine, you should see a yellow esclamation mark (!) or "unknown device" If you uninstalled hw.

  • Satellite Pro L850 - 1 KM-boot problem

    Hello

I recently bought a toshiba laptop (model in the title), but it comes with Windows 8 (ewww) so I decided to format the hard drive (delete all hidden partitions too because I will create my own backup image later) that I did with success. However, the above was made using the tools provided by Toshiba (by pressing 0 at startup).

Now, here's the problem. I had a Windows 7 disc which is bootable and changed the boot order in the bios so it starts from the CD, USB, network HARD drive. For some reason, the laptop does not recognize the media bootable (CD/USB) and instead comes up with a message "media!: [Fail]". " I even downloaded the ultimate Boot disk to see if that starts, but I get the same message.

    What I am doing wrong?

PS: I do not have the recovery disks and now I am unable to access the disc utilities by pressing 0 at the start as I wiped the hard drive clean.

I put t know what you're doing wrong.
You use the original installation disk Microsoft (Win7)?

Set the BIOS to the default settings, start Notepad and press F12 to get into the boot menu. When the menu is displayed on the screen put this Win7 disc into the optical disc drive, in the menu, choose the CD/DVD drive and press ENTER.

What happens when you do this?

By the way: you have created a recovery media until you killed the factory settings?

    Hello everyone

Recently I fell asleep next to my laptop and I hit my knee it hit, and then he froze, rebooted and now it does not start at the top.

When I turn the laptop on it comes up with loading as usual Toshiba screen, but there are two options at the bottom. F2 or F12. Two of these send me to the screen where I can change my BIOS but I don't know what to do here, pressing each techniques of loading on the BIOS all conclude in a black screen.

Can someone help me please :)?

Problem, is that there is not much you can do about it.
What you should do to get into the BIOS and set it to default settings. That s equipped with BIOS.
Can you see listed HDD it?

When you start Notepad using F12 can you see menu boot with bootable devices listed (HARD, CD/DVD, USB drive)?

HARD drive is may be defective?
