  It seems that the wireless mouse or mouse wireless drivers/software has a bad influence on the touchpad.
  I put t have a good solution for this problem. Well, you can consult the page of the Toshiba driver for latest driver updates. If the updates doesn't solve this problem I suggest to use either the mouse wireless and disable the touchpad with FN + F9 key combination or use a regular USB mouse.
  I guess that you are having regular problems with a USB mouse.

  Can someone tell me please how to fix my touch screen. I got an HP BIOS update which caused my touch screen to stop working. I tried to re - calibrate the it, but it does not accept my contact telling me that the screen is no longer enabled.

  I have another type of TouchSmart, but this may work for you:

  1. Press Windows + X logo (if you are using a Windows computer 8 - If Windows 7, click the Start button, type Device Manager and click on Device Manager in the results of research).
  2. Select Device Manager from the list.
  3. Click on the small arrow next to Interface devices to expand the list.
  4. Click the touchscreen driver (in my case, Voltron NextWindow touch screen).
  5. Right click and select Activate from the list.
  6. Click Yes if a dialog box asks if you are sure you want to activate the touch screen driver.

  On some models, it is unclear which device in the checklist of the touch screen. I read in other posts that some people have solved the problem by disabling and then re-enabling each device.

  If this does not work, you could try to go to hp.com (http://www8.hp.com/us/en/support-drivers.html) and click on driver downloads &.
  In the search field, enter your product name or number, and then click OK. Select your operating system from the drop down list under Select your operating system, and then click Next.   The Lenovo onekey recovery was accidentally removed from my laptop G570 - which uses a 64-bit Windows 7 system. The Lenovo support section gives two options for restoring onekey to my machine: a 32-bit or a 64-bit.  I choose the 64-bit download and download the driver.  However, it will not be installed and the message comes back on: "this must be installed on a 32-bit program.

  There is no doubt that I do the right choice of a 64-bit download for a 64 bit system.  What can go wrong?

  Since it is a specialized Lenovo software, you would probably need to speak directly with support from Lenovo.

  It is not uncommon that the download link points to the wrong queue (s).

  Can you try to make a Win 8.1 installer placed in a USB key with media creation tool? If Yes, go to the bios and change the startup mode for Legacy support, active usb boot. Save and exit. Using the USB startup key, then select repair only.

  If you are not able to use Touch ID on your iPhone, the steps below can help restore this functionality to the device.

  • If you have just restarted your device
  • If your fingerprint is not recognized five times in a row
  • If you have not unlocked your device to more than 48 hours

  • If you have just registered or deleted fingerprints
  • If you try to open Touch ID & access code in the settings menu
  • If necessary password is defined on immediately under settings > General > Restrictions

  If you still need help, follow these steps. Try again after each step:

  1. Make sure you have the latest version of iOS.
  2. Make sure that your fingers and the Home button are clean and dry. 1 for Home button, use a clean, lint cloth to wipe off any dirt or debris.
  3. Your finger should completely cover the Home button, touch the surrounding metal ring. Contact ID is scanning, you should not press hard, tap too quickly or move your finger.

  Touch screen of my laptop feature stopped working just in time. When I turned off my laptop, tere this update of windows which lasted more or less an hour. After that, the touch screen has just stopped working. Note that there is no installation program before uninstall antivirus - all programs and files in the laptop is as it was when I bought it.

  I just downloaded the Onekey Recovery for 530 Y, but I can't seem to install it. I accidentally uninstalled the previous, and now I can't get it back. When I tried to install it, I get an error sayinig "this software can only be installed on a Lenovo system", but I use a Lenovo system.

  Extract the files from the EXE with Universal Extractor. Go to the directory where the files were extracted and delete a file called "Custom". You should be able to install it then.

• HP 15 laptop: touch screen has stopped working

  I have a HP TouchSmart laptop computer model 15-f010wm, product number J8A22UA #ABA, 8.1 with Bing 64-bit Windows.

  The first day of the 3-4, I used this computer it worked like a charm. I loved. Now a few times touchscreen will work for about 5 min and then stops or does not work. When it stops working, I get a pop up in the lower right corner that says: the last USB device not recognized USB device you connected to this computer has malfunctioned, and the window does not recognize. (I have not plugged anything in this computer but except the power cord)  When this happens and you go to Device Manager sometimes, there will be a yellow! triangle under the Human Interface Devices drop down and some times yellow! triangle will be under Universal Serial Bus controllers list down. And if you go to they system screen line Pen and touch passes to no. Pen or press enter is available for this view.

  I tried to do a system restore. Also, I did a test fast system and a comprehensive system. The results have been the primary battery check ok and all the others said past. And of course I can't make the screen test because the touch screen does not work.

  Please help me with this. My computer was a gift, my other is really old and was ready for an upgrade. I've never had problem with HP before.

  If you order free-dos system, you should be able to access a key recovery by pressing the recover key.

  I have no idea where it is on the s400 systems but you can take just to consult the manual for it.

• Aspire Touchpad E 15 Touch (E5 - 511P) stopped working

  Hello!

  I have a 11 month old Aspire E15 Touch (which apparently is officially a "E5 - 511P".) Has the touchpad works very well, but it has suddenly stopped working.

  I restarted the computer, but this has no effect.

  I went to Device Manager and the only mention of "Touchpad" fell under "Human Interface Devices" as a «HID-compliant touchpad»  When I clicked on it says "this device is functioning correctly. I clicked on the driver and then update driver tab, but he told me that the driver I had was the best driver (after a search).

  Then I tried to uninstall the driver, which I did today and the "HID-compliant touchpad" no longer appears. I did a search on the net, but it seems there are different types of touchpad for this model (?).

  A lot of questions:

  -J' have initially ruled out hardware failure because the computer says that the "HID-compliant touchpad" worked. I made the mistake to believe this?

  -How can I tell what type of Touchpad has my machine?

  -If I find the correct brand of the Touchpad, where should I save the driver (if I can download it)?

• ARC Touch Mouse Scroll stop working

  I use Win 7 (32-bit) with MS software arc Touch mouse and drivers installed. Running on HP Touchsmart TX2 Tablet.

  I am facing a problem with my mouse with regard to scrolling.
  After "turning on" the mouse, there is a green led and everything seems to work. The Green LED then disappears, probably to save battery.
  However, after a short period of time, the scrolling feature will not work. There is no "feedback" scrolling felt either of the scrolling strip. But when I flatten the mouse and turn it back on again, everything works as normal.
  But after a while, the same problem resurfaced. I have to turn the mouse then turn it back on again. Sometimes, the scroll function "switch on" itself back automatically. But most of the time, it stops just to work altogether.

  It's very irritating. It seems that no one else have this problem.
