touchscreen SX20

Unit completely (sx20) power off the touch screen when would you on.is that how is supposed to be? (I must turn off by unpluging the power cord?)

The Touch8 is powered completely separately from the SX20, it does not power down while the SX20 is off.  If you really need to stop, you will have to do so via the cord/plug from power of the Touch8.

    I'm trying to pair a SX20 with a CTS-CTRL-DV10V01 with no luck. Credentials are 100% correct but still get the message of misidentification.

    Version of the firmware for the SX20 is TC7.1.4.908e4a9.

    Any thoughts?

    You must run TC7.2 on your SX20 in order to pair with the Touch 10.  TC7.2 adds support for 10 matching network touch be used with different parameters, including the SX20.  See the TC7 Release Notes on page 22 for more details.  After upgrade, let us know if you're still having problems.

    No, the SX20 cannot be turned off through the touch screen.

    You can reduce the sensitivity of the touch by turning on the resilience of the EMC mode.  To do, look on the Touch under settings, administrator (and connect), EMC resilience and set on IT.

  • Presentation of the screen double with SX20

    I have two recently installed SX20 units which are registered on a VCS. Both units have the following options installed.

    NaturalPresenter

    MultiSite

    PremiumResolution

    DualDisplay

    What hosting a three-way one of the units (Site A) call displays a full screen remote part on the monitor of the first and the second remote side full screen on the second monitor. That's how I can expect it to appear. However, the second unit (Site B) shows two parts away on the first screen and displays only the presentations for the second screen that otherwise would be empty. I compared all the parameters and believe that they are the same for both units.

    To further complicate the issue when B Site hosts a multisite call or device uses the second screen for video. By selecting the options of the touchscreen controller layout did not involve video displayed on both screens.

    The following settings are configured under Advanced Configuration. Video.

    Monitors: double

    LocalLayoutFamily: automatic

    RemoteLayoutFamily: automatic

    Any ideas?

    What Site a using the on-board microcontroller, welcomes all sites, he will receive a video stream separated from each participants, however, it will be transcoded and it will send a composite stream that contains all the sites of the Conference on other sites - so this behavior is correct.

    Looks like that Site B has been configured with video output 'Role to monitor' value 'Format' only instead of "Second".

  • Cisco Telepresence SX20 and Touch 8 Configuration after paired

    I successfully connected and combined the SX20 Cisco's Telepresence and Cisco Telepresence Touch 8. Before using the 8 key, we used the remote control instead. As a result, I have two questions about this.

    1. as far as I know, when I use the 8 key, the remote control cannot be used. Is it possible to use both of them?

    2. How can I change the background of my SX20 touch 8? Previously, the remote I can easily choose the background for my SX20. But after pairing with Touch 8, background in my SX20 become a blue large clock. I really want to have a different background but cannot find the way how to change.

    After you connect the 8 Touch, you can still use the remote control, you will need to put on the SX20:

    SystemUnit MenuType experimental configuration: full

    I think that the standard background when using a touchscreen device is what you see, blue with large clock.  However, after the MenuType return in full which will give you the full OSD which is used with the remote and not that of the button, you may be able to change the background then.

    If your devices are not connected to any call (VCS or CUCM) control, search for SX20 autonomous in the forums - there are many threads that describe what you need to configure the settings.  Do the same configuration on the SX and exodus once this is done, you should be able to call the IP address of one of the other.

    I have a client with CTS-SX20-PHD4X-K9

    and TC6.0 who have 2 screen, customers want to move PiP between the 2 screens, but are not possible. Customer can move the pip on a single screen.

    I read some documents that this feature is more able with touchscreen. But maybe could im wrong, you please clarify this?

    To know and according to Cisco documentation, end users can change PiP position using the touchscreen. Take a look at this extracted statement of administrator's Guide:

    In addition, if you read the "Guide of the user Panel of touch", Cisco clearly indicates that you can move the PiP using the touchscreen device. But if you read "The Remote Control User Guide", there is nothing related to the control of the PiP using the remote control.

    As far as I KNOW, is not a way to "remote control", as the touchscreen as you can on an IP handset (series 79xx example using view phone or application of single wire)

    It is possible to do it via SSH, the codec CLI interface, see dial the xCommand starting from the pg 83.  I could not find a guide to the API for the MX300, but orders should be the same throughout all TC software codecs, if according to the codec and it's capabilities, some commands may be different.

  • My touchscreen is unresponsive after ios 9.3.2 and apple support isn't helpful!

    My 5s, 16 GB iPhone was working fine until the 9.3 ios updated. After that, I started to see the shift in my touch screen. After the 9.3.1 it began to increase and in ios 9.3.2 it became worse. Two days before my touch screen froze and I couldn't do anything. I tried 'restart', nothing has worked. I tried to reset my touch screen started working fine again. I've restored my itunes backup and screen frozen again.

    From there, I tried resetting twice but nothing works the lock screen works sometimes and then touch screen freezes after that the phone is unlocked. The "home" button and the power button works and responds very well.

    I contacted Apple imagine Service Center, but they have not even check it with the technicians. They saw my phone simply go outside, asked if it is in warranty, and when I said 'NO', they said we must change the touchscreen with a value of 12 000 rupees. I asked them to downgrade from iOS, but they told me that they do the downgrade at all.

    For updating a buggy software, I should pay 12 000 rupees to continue using my mobile. I called the phone number of Apple, but the recorded voice put me on hold for 20 minutes before I finished the call in frustration.

    Don't know what to do! Wasted my money for a phone expensive buggy! Advice in this regard are very much appreciated, thank you.

    Where did you buy this phone? It can be repaired in the country where you purchased it. No wonder if they refused a maintenance operation if it was bought abroad. iPhones don't have international warranty. Updates don't cause physical problems. Most likely your device has a hardware problem. In any case, you can try several troubleshooting steps (restore to factory as the last hope)

    Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

    Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

    If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

It was very frustrating - the screen would bounce around to choose things that I wasn't tapping and scrolling fast and sometimes simply freeze completely for a few seconds. I've never had problems before update!

    I have not found how to fix 9.3.2,and but I managed to restore my OS to 9.3.1 (which solved the problem of the touch screen) until the next version of iOS comes out which will be hopefully resolve this issue.
