TP-Link TL - WN851ND Wireless - it is CERTAINLY NOT COMPATIBLE!

This adapter blocks Windows 8 after a few minutes of operation.

I tried this now on two different platforms and with all the features of driver configuration, and slot machine that I can possibly replicate. I have rebuilt machines from scratch using wired Ethernet and the installation of devices one-at-a-time in different orders. The problem recurs without fault, as soon as I submit this adapter ma - boom - test platforms.

I contacted TP-Link and I await their response, but I am disappointed that Microsoft have stated that compatible despite evidence to the contrary - and this seems to be the case with other TP-Link adapters as well. I am an IT professional with 25 years of experience and always previously relied on the Windows compatibility lists as the "gold standard" hardware/OS driver insurance. Now, I think that it is simply a site to report our 'beta level' failures - grab like that I lost money now on a useless adapter I can't go back.

I have a cd or anything for it. Thank you

You can get in trouble with your device drivers, firmware and/or software.  Go to the Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get drivers (and you shouldget from Dell for the wireless adapter at all you have time to do - they can help way beyond simply solve this problem), let the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows:http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/. Follow these steps to get the drivers: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/ht/driverdlmfgr.htm.  Once you have the drivers, you can install them via the Manager device as follows:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-device-manager-install-driver.html. > http://support.microsoft.com/kb/244617.

The adapter is inside the laptop.  You don't need to do something with it to install it.  Install the drivers, firmware or software for it and your version of Vista from Dell (all that apply) "install".  You must then go to start / Control Panel / Network and sharing Center and configure the adapter with the appropriate parameters and to establish the appropriate network connections.  This will take place in settings required by your ISP, and maybe your router or modem (so you may need to contact them if you don't know the settings).

  • HP wireless correctly connected but not printing

Have HP Officejet 6600 wireless configured correctly on MAc with snow leopard. Test page prints ok.

When printing from any application nothing orints but HP utility SIAS host network is busy, will try again in 10 sec Network is certainly not busy. Any ideas anyone how to solve?

It could be the router, but it seems that it might just be a port on the router that is blocking the printer from printing.

You can try to perform a hard reset on the router. Unplug it for 30 seconds and plug it in again. You can also disable your firewall and anti-virus when restarting the wireless connection.

Microsoft Wireless Comfort Keyboard 4000 not recognized on the new 64 bit Windows 7 computer. The computer thinks I have a keyboard 600 wireframe. Original title: unable to connect to wifi on windows 7 on Dell laptop

Help!  I went on vacation and used my laptop to DVD play only.  I am now back home and cannot connect to the Internet.  I tried all sorts of resolutions without result.  When I use the Troubleshoot utility, it tells me to stop my router and turn it back on.  I've done this multilpe times at this point.  Once I keep in the resolution of the problems, I get the same message again and again: "wireless network connection is not a valid ip configuration.  I disabled McAfee and morning services.  I used the command prompt to reset WINSOCK, IPv4 and 6.  I turned power on and off wireless by using the key on the keyboard.  I disabled and enabled the network connection.  I have the driver-upated.  I know the router works properly from my iphone and iPad is all connected without problem.  I removed and added to the wireless network.  In the network and sharing Center (I would copy and paste the view up here, if I could, but since I can't get online...), it is said "unidentified network, no internet access" on the right side, and he also says that I'm connected to a public network.  There is no link to click for the public network and I can't seem to find a way to change it to the House (there are no options, no links).  I tried to solve this problem, after I get home from work every night and I'm so frustrated that nothing works.  Please, please help!

I have the mouse as shown in the title with new batteries.

My installed OS Windows 7 x 64 SP1. A clean installed on the computer without additional software in the meantime.
When I connect the transmitter (2.4 ghz v7.0 model 1423) the mouse to the computer, it identifies only, and the mouse works.
In devices and printers, the transmitter is under indefinite and after installing IntelliPoint 8.2 64-bit for Windows 7, it remains the same.
Sometimes the mouse does not react on the screen, as it got stuck and moving in parts rather than sequentially. Including the mouse buttons that do not meet at the moment.
If I bring the mouse close to the transmitter, the problem goes away and it works fine.
After the test, no relation to the load on the processor, the problem appears randomly.
I tried to replace USB ports but no change, the problem goes away only if I put the mouse close to the transmitter.
