Transport stall

When I try to print using my Deskjet 1320, I get the following error message:

"Error of mechanism: the print cartridge cradle cannot move." Turn the printer off, open the cradle of the cartridge and turn the printer. »

The following statements makes no difference.  However, I note that in restarting the printer, I can see that the carriage moves freely on the entire range of the platten - he is not stuck.   The print cartridges properly installed is HP.

I turned off the printer unplugged the power cord, unplugged the printer cable to my macbook, all retarted.  None of this makes a difference, I get the same error message (although again, the print carriage moves freely) and the printer does not print.

Hello, I would like to help you with your printer Deskjet D1320.

Even if you see the wagon move when you turn on the device, it cannot move completely to the left or right due to a filibuster by maybe a piece of paper.

I would say to unplug the unit from the power source, the door pen and pick up any piece of paper or another obstacle that may prevent the trolley (or cradle) to move all the way to the left and to the right.  You can even use your hand to move the carriage to both sides and see if there is something that blocks (do not consider part of the mechanism that interacts with the transport through the obstruction, this interaction is normal when the carriage moves all the way to the left and to the right).

If you do not see the obstructions, then use this device can be broken and must be replaced.

The transport of on my Deskjet 1050 ink cartridge is blocked completely above the left side of the printer. There are no jams paper or other obstacles preventing them from moving. I can move it freely by hand. I tried all the various solutions on the web site of HP for this problem without resolution. The printer is fourteen months, but has been rarely used and printed only a dozen pages over this period. This is a problem that can be repaired or I have to buy a new printer?

@ MMG635 - to add to the video above, there is also a record for that matter is here.

If the steps do not resolve the problem, then you may want to replace this unit because it has developed a hardware problem. If you are still in warranty, HP can replace the printer without cost to you. I'll link the information to get in touch with them below. The link takes you to a form to fill out. Once you fill it and she is treated, it will give you the printers warranty information, a file number and the phone number to call.

  • 7520 Photosmart printer - ink cartridges carriage out when the cover is opened

The transport does not automatically moves himself posted to the right of the machine when the lid is open.  I'm unable to change empty ink cartridges.  The machine was purchased new April 2013 and is out of warranty.  I turned off and turned it back over 15 min later, no change.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi @Clayball,

I see that you have problems with the transport not to move to the middle in order to change the cartridges.

    I would like to help.

I would like to do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem.
Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector.
This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

If the transport does not move freely when grasp the front, it's OK to gently push the carriage to the left or right to move along the rail.
Fragments of paper can get lodge between the cart and the gas station.  It is important to look at the far right of the printer with a flashlight to make sure there is no debris.

I handed a document with some measures to try to resolve the transport stall.

A Message appears 'Transport Jam' on the control panel.

  • OfficeJet pro K8600 / transport CB015A stall

My turn signals indicate a stall of transport. It happened when I installed my new duplex unit on the back. I didn't have a chance to print anything. I did everything what I read about positions that could remedy this. Also, I removed the duplexer and replace the original on the printer. I always get a stall of transport. I never got this error. Only after that I put the duplex unit on. Any suggestions?

I noticed that as well. I really didn't take the risk of a download. I did, however, run a piece of paper in the back to feed while the rolls were treatment and it seemed to solve the problem. Do not know why. Ghost in the machine, I guess.  I did this thinking if I interrupted his model a bit, it could be confused. This is perhaps what made him. After 9 hours of racking my brain, the problem is resolved. Thank you for your help.

  • OfficeJet 4620 - stall of transport: transport Jam

HP Officejet 4620 error: transport Jam. The print cartridge will not move...

I get this error message, and the printer does not work.

I watched the video of support, and there is no paper stuck or blocked anywhere, or any obstacle that I can find. I unplugged the printer, etc., as suggested. I can't always the printer to work. The carriage move not left by itself when I open the lid. I heard a noise of rattling after printing... I know that the video States if all else fails it may need service. But I was just wondering if there may be a few other simple fix, I forgot? The White Ribbon seems intact at both ends. The transport does not seem to move at all. I pull it to the left, and he stayed there after the closing and reopening of the coverage. I also removed all cartridges and reinstalled them.

I called technical support... a new printer is shipped to me... thanks...

  • HP C7280 all-in-one pump motor stalled, ink system failure

My HP C7280 has several failures: pump motor stalled, then ink system with error message failure: 0xc05d0082 and then sometimes for fun jam of transport, where there is no paper jam.  I tried to remove theink and again hard placiing; hard reboot; PWR. off for 60 seconds and so on.  Help!

    Hi jjennylake,

Engine stall pump and ink system failure are two serious error codes.  I'm linking a document troubleshooting for ink system failure.  Click here  The only step that there is to reset the printer which I think you have already done.  You might take a look at the link and see if you did the reset the same way.  If this isn't the case, I recommend to try again following the steps in the link.  It is sometimes useful to remove the ink before disconnecting the power supply and then re-seats after ink printer powers back up.  Let me know how it goes.

    Good luck!

  • Stuck transport - DeskJet 842C

The cartridges are stuck on the right side of the cart and will not spend. When I turn on the printer it makes a grinding noise and I can see the cartridges trying to get around, but they do not. I have cleaned the printer and made sure there is no paper jam anywhere, but it still does not work.

    Hello sds.

    I suggest you try this:

Turn off the printer, open the lid and turn on the printer. As the transport attempts to move (producing grinding) unplug the power cord from the printer. Now try to move the carriage by hand and if you can, move all the way to the left, and then again in the middle of the printer. Turn on the printer again and hopefull this will solve the problem.

The Deskjet 842c printer is old enough and I don't have one on site to check myself, but the first or the second of these two documents describe another step to try to correct the stall of transport (look inside the printer, on the far left and compare your printer for images in documents):

  • HP psc 1210xi carrage stalled, will not do anything

Here we have a color inkjet ink/scanner 1210xi. When you plug in or turn on, the ink carrage moves back along the full range of movement, but seems to slam into the sides at both ends of its trajectory. Then the printer flashes the lights "Check paper" and "Check print cartridge" and the display shows E in the 'copies '. The computer (Win XP) gives an error message that the ink carrage is at a standstill. It doesn't seem to be anything wrong physically, I can manually move the carrage completely from one side to the other very easily, there is no obstacle.

This happened once before and someone else here spent a lot of time on the phone with HP support and they finally got running again, but she does not remember what the solution was. I've been through the online help suggestions and they do nothing.

Is there as a kind of factory reset code I can apply here?

We do not want even to print whatever it really is, we have two here color laser printers that work much better. I don't care if this machine prints ever again. We just want to use the scanner, but it don't scan us nothing while the printer reports this error.

    Hello RayKremer

Please try this troubleshooting "stall of transport" article, as it may solve your problem.

  • Download Open Transport for 10.11.6 BONES

Excuse me I am new to HD recording.

I want to follow my synth Roland RS-9 on my MBP.

I hung my SR-9 on an Interface Focusrite Saffire 6 USB audio with two midi cables.

The Saffire 6 is connected to my MBP with a USB cable.

I am currently not able to monitor the Roland through my Mac.

I have Logic Pro X, Soundtrack Pro and Ableton Live Lite 8 installed on my Mac.

I need to download Open Transport to make a difference here?

When you say monitor, do you mean watch the audio output of the RS-9, or use it as a midi controller? If you want to record the audio output of the synth, you must connect the cable from the audio out on the Sapphire, set up an audio input in Logoc track and make sure that input control is enabled. From your description, it seems you have the synth configured as a controller keyb rather than as a tool.

I'm more than a guitarist, but that's how you get an acoustic guitar in logic as an audio signal.

    hope that helps!
