• HP psc 2355 all-in-one: PSC 2355 all-in-one scan, but not print

  The printer was purchased at a garage sale may be a few years back. It scans perfectly fine, but it will not be printed. I tried searching the Web for drivers and uninstalling/reinstalling it, even the installation under another pilot as series 2300. The closest driver that appears is 2350 series. Windows Update crashes when I try to get to find the drivers more.

  Print a test page once, he hasn't done anything since then except to give me errors on the printer LCD. I have only a black cartridge in it because I don't need color, but I doubt that's the issue.

  From the looks of things, this is a common problem... I saw a post where someone has too, but nothing has worked.

  The value 0 x error messages you see on the screen of your PSC 2355 all-in-one indicate a hardware failure in your printer ink system. Because the errors seem to be intermittent at the moment it is you may chance using your printer for a little longer. However, there is a hardware failure occurring within the printer and for this reason, there is a chance that your printer may stop working at any time.

  Troubleshooting steps for error 0 x can be found here. But, as you can see one troubleshooting step is to perform a power reset on the machine. If the power reset does not clear the error state that a replacement of the entire unit would be necessary.

  Try to install your printer using the driver PSC 2350. However, if the error messages continue to appear on your printer, I would recommend reaching out to the Technical Support queue by phone about the options for replacement of material. Due to the age of your printer, you may have the option to update your PSC device for a newer model at a reduced price.

  When sending of works for the all-in-one printer HP PSC 2355 of my laptop Acer Aspire with Windows XP and a USB connecton,

  I get an error message on the screen flip to say remove and check color cartridge. I do this, but nothing has changed and now the switch does not work either as a result I can't do anything, it's just frozen.

  I am using Vista with a printer HP PSC 2355.  Sheet of paper passes to halfway through, then stops.  "Paper jam" message.  Cleared jam and OK pressed to continue.  Next sheet of paper does exactly the same thing.  Printer on and off, same problem.  Printer has left during the night, same problem.  I tried the program MS FixIt, no error found.  Nothing is ever printed on documents.  Help please.  Magic lure.

  I had to uninstall and reinstall my PSC 2355 All In One Printer because the scanner was not working. I downloaded the 'simple' version and the printer is fine, but I cannot scan stall. Should I uninstall again and download the 'full' version' - who would do it or not? I know that I can open Paint and scan from there, but I'd rather work on the printer itself - someone help?   With the simple version just the scandriver is installed, so you will need a party 3thrd like a paint program to scan. To have the features you want, install the full software of features indeed.

  Recently upgraded my system from windows XP to windows 7. The CD with the software indicates compatibility with Windows 98, Me, 2000 & XP.   Welcome to the Forums of HP Support! I see that you have recently upgraded your computer from Windows XP to Windows 7 and you want compatible software and download drivers for your HP PSC 2355 with the HP Director program.

  Now, because you're using a newer operating system with an old printer you install software and drivers by using the OS print driver, which means that there is no download available, but the driver was built into the operating system.

  To better understand, please have a look here: installation of the printer software in Windows 7 for a USB cable connection, regarding the HP Director, it is no longer available. You may be able to get some third party options that can be comparable.

  Details: Computer is a Dell Studio 1558, W7 professional, the printer is an HP PSC 2355.
  This is the second time I had this problem with Windows 7.
  I recently notified Microsoft on this issue.
  Problem has been resolved the first time, after the great frustration, by restoring the computer to the factory settings, having tried all fix and provided suggestions.
  This has solved the problem of spooler and I might add a printer (HP PSC 2355)
  Pilots where downloaded from the web, such as the printer did NOT appear in the drivers supplied with W7.
  Everything worked fine for 24 hours until what I was unable to print because of print spooler won't start do not.
  Naturally I'm very bored now.
  Please notify. Is this caused by the drivers of HP or is there a problem with W7 that need fixing.
  (Added only software which is not included with the computer is Office 2007, provided by my employer who has a site license and the viewer click).

  As a possible explanation, looks like you had a faulty cartridge or the low ink level. Part of solving the problems of print quality is to try another cartridge that you already have and it resolved the problem. A cartridge bad or low ink level can cause horizontal stripes in images either because it doesn't have enough ink or it has problems, releasing the ink.   Solution:
  1. perform an uninstall of level 3.

  1. turn the all-in-one off and disconnect all cable USB/Ethernet of all-in-One to the computer.

  2. Insert the CD-ROM of all-in-one in the computer. Cancel any windows installation that appear.

  3. click on start in the bar of tasks and then run.

  4. in the command box, type command, and then press Next:

  X:\Util\CCC\Uninstall_L3.bat
