Treo 850 screen unlocks with incoming call

Dear users of Palm,

I have a Palm treo pro 850. I have a very small problem. The keypad unlocks when the phone rings (incoming call). This creates problems when I come out of my pocket. Sometimes, the call is ignored or received. I hope that some of you have had that probllem and could guide me. Thanks is advance for help.

There are a few programs that emulate iPhone finger slide to unlock your device. Normally, your leg is unable to do so.

This page has something of a tour d'horizon of programs for Windows Mobile. Note that not all of these programs will be with the resolution of 320 x 320 of the Treo Pro. I saw a post confirming that at least Sunscape work on the Treo Pro. I have not tried one of those myself (I use a belt case).

  • No voice with incoming calls PAP2T

I bought a LinkSys PAP2T unlocked last year that worked beautifully until a few days ago. Outgoing calls work fine, but I now have problems with incoming calls only.

When I receive an incoming call, the phone rings, but when I pick it up, I can't hear anything and cannot the caller on the other end. After a few seconds, my phone disconnects and begins to beep as if the line is busy. This occurs regardless of who calls me and whther they use a VoIP device or a normal PSTN phone. I have not changed the settings on the router (a Belkin) or the PAP2T, he simply stopped working a few days ago! I have a connection 10MB Virgin Media broadband service for my VoIP provider is Draytel that have verified the account and settings and says it works very well on their test kit.

Since then, I tried just using line 2 and the deactivation of line 1 to do a hard reset of the PAP2T and updated the firmware to the latest version. Even tried to change the analog phone connected, but I still have the problem.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why it suddenly stopped working with anything has been changed and what I might be able to do to fix? The PAP2T is still the title of the 12 month warranty period then maybe she developed a fault?

Thank you very much in advance for all those who can help you.

    Cheers, Vic

For me it looks like the problem of RTP streams - probably, it does not pass the firewall / nat on the path between SIP provider and you.

This may have is that your Belkin router/NAT, or on internet ISP router/NAT enabled SIP ALG (Application Layer Gateway).

If this is the case, you will need to disable SIP ALG on your router or ask your ISP internet to disable on the firewall router.

Another question may have been if you (accidentally) changed the port forwarding on your Belkin router, or the PAP2T local LAN IP address changed and port forwarding is no longer works.

    So my proposals to check:

-check and DISABLE SIP ALG on your Belkin (if the router has this feature)

-check the port forwarding on your router Belkin... IF you set up port forwarding for 5060/61 you MUST set the same for RTP ports (16384-16483)

-If you don't have port forwarding on your Belkin, try before installation of 5060-5061 AND 16384-16483 *.

    * (If this is too many ports, set the RTP on PAP2T portrange to 16384-16394 for example and then forward only go)

-If neither of above of aid, change your SIP Line1 of 5060 for port we will tell 6070 and RTP ports to the beach we'll tell 17300-17310

-Finally, you can do it on your side is to remove all the port forwarding and put the PAP2T to your router Belkin DMZ settings.

  • Problems with incoming calls not being recognized

    I have a motorazr2 V9m.

Can I use any phone and call my motorazr2 V9m.

The call will not be displayed on my motorazr2 V9m.

On the phone, I'm calling from the call will ring until voice mail rises.

A voice message on the motorazr2 V9m notification will pop up sometimes immediately or later.

The voicemail notification pop up of time varies. Sometimes it will not show up until you try to make an outgoing call.

I can call the other phone several times and the motorazr2 V9m will not display a call.

I'll try 5 or 6 times before the motorazr2 V9m will show and ringing an incoming call.

I tried this in many places with the same result.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

Looks like a reset did the trick.

  • screen unlock during a call

During a call with the phone to my ear, the screen darkens, as it should.  When I get on the phone to my ear to hang up or use the dial pad, the screen remains black and do not go to the dial pad or other functions of the phone.  When this happens, I can't yet to hang up the call.  I have to wait timeout.

This has happened 3 times recently.

You get a deal on the phone? Do you have a screen on the phone, if no case protector? If you have a deal on the phone, have you tried to remove the case and test the appeal at this time. This looks like a proximity sensor problem, but we need to solve it.

  • SPA 3201 - problem with incoming calls

    Hello

I installed a new SPA 3102 connected to a mini Server asterisk; catches of phone line to connect to the existing line of the Earth and the phone.
The unit has current firmware, and the one and only ethernet cable taken in the WAN port - these two steps make a working direction. I can dial a number on the phone, the call goes through the asterisk and goes out to the PSTN.
The other way, however, does not work: I get syslog entries that the call is detected, but the device doesn't send what anyone on the server (as checked with wireshark)
    The dial plan is
    (S0<:1234>)
    but I also tried
    (S0<>[email protected] / * />)
    and some variations more

    This is syslog entries:

    FXO:start CNDD
Number of the caller analysis = callingnumber
    -Caller ID:
    -Name = (null)
    -Number distance = callingnumber
    -Dialable number = (null)
    -No reason number = (null)
FXO:CNDD = name, number is callingnumber
    FXO:stop CNDD
    Phone = FXO:CNDD name = callingnumber
    Your RTC AUD:Stop
    FXO: on the hook
    Your RTC AUD:Stop
the next sequence is repeated several times, probably as long as the line is actually ringing
    FXO:start CNDD
    Your RTC AUD:Stop
    FXO: on the hook
    Your RTC AUD:Stop
    FXO:stop CNDD

    Where would I look next?

I found a tip in an ongoing discussion, and in fact this has solved the problem: "PSTN ring timeout" must be longer than the time to ring + break from the ring, and "Time of response to PSTN" must be short enough

Unfortunately, if incomplete description of configuration. There are so many dial plans to set, but it has not specified that have configured it.

Please read before RTC call the SPA3102 to VOIP. I hope this will help you.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not see the name of contact shown with incoming call

Dialing the number is displayed, but not the name of the contact?

Cannot find any configuration option to fix...

    There are many possibilities...

    1. You have more than one pack of BB OS installed on the PC, which is confusing for the desktop software.
    2. The package of BB OS does not exactly match your BB model... I don't know if '9800 M"(in the name of the file) and '9800' (what you declare you to be) are considered to be exactly the same thing or not.
    3. There is perhaps still the second PROVIDER. To remove XML file.
    4. The operating system package is somewhat damaged and unusable.
    5. The operating system package is identical to what is already running on the BB.

The foregoing may be causal. If everything is correct, you actually should not even if you obtained in step 5. If everything is correct, once the Desktop software is running and the BB is connected, it should automatically offer you the update... you should not even able to go as far as you have to click on update. If something on this bundle of BONES is not recognized as being available for your BB.

If point 5 is causal, you may need to override this in step 5 above,:

Note Although written to "recharge" and the storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade or recharge any BB device model - depends on the operating system package you download and install on your PC.

    Good luck!

  • Different unlock the screen for incoming calls?

This weekend, I noticed that my unlock screen differs for incoming calls. I admit, I was in the cardiac ward at the hospital, but I'm now at home and it's always the same. Instead of throwing away them from side to side, they are upstairs and downstairs. It still works the same, but the layout is different.

Did you perhaps install an app that does this and you don't know that he had this feature?  I think it's kind of cool.  I want my phone to do.  Thanks for sharing the photos too.

  • Skype rejects all incoming calls.

I have major problems with incoming calls.

When an incoming call arrives, my client desktop computer immediately rejects the call. Basically the same as picking up the phone and immediately hanging up on the caller.

However, I can shout to the people, and the call works normally. I can even use the video when calling other people.

Reset the client by following the directions listed elsewhere on this site I give one call in which he tries to connect, but never quite finished the connection and hang up. After that, he immediately goes to immediate disconnection.

It's really very annoying because I am currently unemployed and must be able to receive calls from employers and potential employers.

Currently using Skype 7.0.0.102 for the desktop on Windows 8.1.

Is it possible I can get support on this issue?

In fact, I just a little more research and found that, apparently, the first call after starting Skype will go, however, Skype will be "think" are you still in this first call, even though you could have ended it already and therefore show that you are 'busy' and reject an incoming call.

There seems to be a problem with many users of Skype 7.0.0.102 and Support of Skype is apparently downgrade to Skype 6.9 and disabling automatic updates, which I won't do. (I like the new design of Skype 7.0: happy)

I guess the only solution for you is to go back to an older version of Skype, so you can receive your important phone calls to potential employers (good luck!), but my solution is to simply suck it up and wait for an official update of Skype/Microsoft.

    Kind regards

  • Incoming call to Smartphones blackBerry - unique ring only previously diverted to vmail

    Hello

I'm having a problem with incoming calls: I get a ring (regardless of the type of ringing) in the normal profile before that the incoming call is diverted to vmail. The phone is not in silent/unavailable mode and started to vibrate/ring, low volume. My service provider is Vodafone, although I am currently in Toronto and homelessness with Rogers Wireless.

    Any help greatly appreciated

    FP

    Check the following-

    Dial: * 61 * [phone number] * 11 * [time] #.

Instead of phone number of your voice mail box number (call your operator to find out who) and instead of putting any value, i.e. 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30. These values are seconds, after which your calls will be diverted/forwarded to voicemail. Setting a higher value will respond to your request.

This string is only applicable GSM carriers.

  • Screen / phone does not not during the current incoming call.

    All;

I just noticed this behavior 2 days ago and it went this AM as well. During an incoming call, I tried to access the data on my Bravo but the screen was dark and pressing the unlock/lock button at the top has nothing more than any other control. I haven't lost the appeal and I got the info written down, so I got to the question on the ground. As soon as the call is completed, I could see the screen by pressing the menu and then command unlock the phone with the swipe.

I also noticed that there are no e-mail messages. I decided to power off the device (soft reset). Messages, then went down, but 2 days ago I did not have a message problem. But had the black screen and no access to the phone during the call. I've not seen this with outgoing calls. I have no trouble to access items on the phone call I have orginate. All the world has noticed this incoming call blocking? It would almost seem that controls spend sleep during incoming calls. I have not found references in this regard so far.

I found that when the phone is turned off and then back on most of the problems are solved. Since I'm old to computers in general this is not a surprise but falls into the area of practice or standard procedure. I will say that the absence of data loss during these resets is a good thing.

  • How do you keep an incoming call for the slide to unlock?

I love this phone and now my only problem (just me probably..) is an incoming call has this slide that you have to move, and I was wondering if there is a way to get rid of her... I asked before the lock on the front screen and got the unlock app that works very well if anyone knows if there is one for an incoming call? It's a pain... Thank you!

      • Choose custom.
      • Allow everyone to view alerts, sounds and Haptic.
