  HA! After 3 hours of tinkering it worked (for me anyway). In the channel strip Inspector, MIDI input set none - kills the keyboard trigger the sample but not the pad... against intuitive but worked for me! Hope this helps someone else

• How to trigger the dictation from the smart keyboard on the iPad pro.

  I use dictated on my iPhone and my iPad quite often.

  However on my new iPad Pro with the smart keyboard attached, I do not how to trigger the dictation from the keyboard.

  I don't see how to get the soft keyboard back to press the button of the microphone are there, such space suggested by some on this forum.

  This doesn't seem to work in the latest iOS Update 9.

  I would be fine with a hotkey, or have to invoke the keyboard of the shop, then press the button of the microphone, but I don't see how do either.

  When the Emoji button on the keyboard smart strike as the keyboard, the software keyboard emoji is displayed, the space but when I press the soft ABC capital but I cannot get to the regular keyboard with the microphone button.

  A possible alternative would be to use Siri to dictation trigger in recording a memo or another application, space but I didn't understand how to do this job either.

  Has anyone experience this problem and found a solution?

  Unfortunately I had to spend a good hour on the phone with technical support when they finally admit that it was an oversight by Apple.  I hope someone reads this post until they spend countless hours trying to understand something, but has no solution at the moment. Frustrated!

  I use a PXI-5154 and want to change my previous program to trigger the external source. I'm feeding the external source from source to V 2.5 and it seems to trigger fine. However when data acquisition the vertical range of the oscilloscope will 5 V which is too high as to my request I acquire in the millivolts range. I tried to show the vertical range of the channel I acquisition, but although I put it as the active channel I get the following error:

  Get a base attribute value channel failed because the channels interviewed have different values.  Please specify a channel when you query a string based attribute.

  Hi all

  I have some difficulties with the help of the trigger edge power IQ & questioning the DAMA if it has samples/records ready for pick up.  I have reviewed the documentation on the support to the screw and the examples provided with the driver of the ACCA and have not been able to solve my problem on my own.    What I'm trying to do, is to have this VI capture periodic RF bursts that are larger than a specified threshold.

  I go to this topic in the following way:

  I put the number of samples I captured (finished) for each burst which crosses the threshold
  I put the number of records to capture to be infinite
  I said that the rising slope and the appropriate threshold
  I have then to validate the configuration of the ACCA and start acquiring
  I have then go into a loop and check the backlog of samples as well as the acquisition is
  If either of the above is true then I get the samples with the IQ extract complex WDT vi
  I continue looping until the user stops the vi with a button on the front panel
  I went on this path that I didn't block indefinitely or for long periods of time

  What I see is:

  I'll take one shot and then nothing else
  what the samples never back above zero
  that acquisition is ever complete
  If I switch out the IQ extraction with equivalent IQ reading and ignore the completion back & I get documents like I expect

  My understanding is as follows:

  Electric trigger IQ does not have to be re-armed in VI
  that each trigger to fire IQ Power will create a new record containing the number of samples that I asked

  My questions:

  It seems that when the number of records is infinite that the acquisition is never considered as carried out when the State of the acquisition is verified, is that correct?
  I receive multiple records pending upward on the ASB using this configuration?
  Why a record number is provided with the back of fetch get VI?
  Why would I pick any folder, but the record of zero?
  I'm doing something wrong here?
  Is there a better way to do this?

  You are on the right track to get your application do what you want. Instead of check to fetch back, I suggest that lets you read the property node DAMA the "' Acquisition > Fetch > Records made" property to know when a new record was acquired. "

  You ask DAA for an infinite number of records. File 0 started the first trigger seen. Record 1 to the second outbreak (end of disk 0) and so on.

• Restart waveform immediately start trigger

  I create a waveform 50 ms with an SMU-5451 in SMU-1078 chassis with a controller of SMU-8840 running Labview RT.  The waveform is currently triggered by a pulse of a counter of data acquisition because the timing of the wave must be closely synchronized with data on the acquisition of data collection.  However, this approach is problematic because it is difficult to produce a continuous of the 5451 signal when it is triggered in this way.  If the waveform is exactly 50 ms long, will miss the start trigger.  I can tolerate losing at the end of the wave, but I can't tolerate having a gap in the output, and I need the waveform to start exactly on the edge of outbreak of 50 ms.  I can configure the 5451 to accept a trigger start and restart the wave immediately rather than wait for the current iteration of the waveform to complete?

  I guess I could use a complete the 5451 event to trigger the acquisition of data instead, but I guess there is a way for me to do what I want.

  Are you familiar with the mode "script"? You might be able to use this example script:

  Basically, the idea is that, when it receives a trigger, it stops the execution of the inner loop and finish the iteration of the outer loop. Then it will start again from the beginning and to the inner loop.
