    Hello

I think that you will make contact with HP about this. This is the first time I've ever seen an error code Purple and research seems to be oriented to the motherboard itself. This looks like a common mistake when the motherboard only has not been "tattooed" correctly. It's the process of individualisation of a motherboard with a separate serial number or another for code.

I would like to talk to HP everything to do with this error code.

    I hope this helps!

  • How can I fix code purple error on HP?

I have currently a HP p6277c-b desktop PC running Windows 7 home prmium 64-bit.

I had a Doctor in my video section of the motherboard, I first checked HP for the motherboard, but they don't sell any more.  I went online and found the same exact motherboard (ipiel-la3-eureka-gl8 p/n 533234-002).

I installed the motherboard which was perfect, booted up machine and it only would not start before start Ifigured drive somehow got corrupted, so I did a system restore and everything was good, the start screen came punt by that and went to the configuration system, it is when I get an ERROR CODE PURPLE!

Doing some research on the Internet I found the error Code Purple is a boobie trap that HP creates, there is a tattoo on the motherboard that seeks recovery. Thank you HP.  So I'm stuck since my HP is out of warranty, they won't even far cosider talking to me.

How can I get the motherboard HP tattoo?

    Sincerely,

The source of the new motherboard has no importance.

  • Please help trouble Code 43 error graphics card for XPS 8700 (as well as the disappearance of sleep/Standby Mode) (Windows 10)

I got my XPS in 2014 and my warranty of service completed in 2015 Jan before I installed Windows 10. So since I've upgraded to Windows 10 I started having problems with by XPS 8700. Now, I have no guarantee. I thought he would go better once they have released an update of the BIOS and it did for a while unfortunately in recent months, I noticed two major issues.

    (1) upon the starting and restarting my computer, my monitor does not end up receiving the signal from the computer and remains dark.

-Checking that it is not a problem with the monitor by testing with other computers

-J' checked in the Device Manager and there was a next yellow alert for graphic cards / NVIDIA GeForce GT 635

-By clicking on, he showed me this: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

Unfortunately, it is not the only problem with the graphics card.

    (2) "sleep" my mode is gone (it is related to graphics and BIOS).

-J' tried the go in power to add setting but it was not yet listed.

-I went to the command prompt and looked powercfg.exe that's what I discovered:

    C:\Windows\System32>Powercfg - a

The following sleep States are available on this system:

    Hibernate

The following sleep States are not available on this system:

Standby (S3) mode is not available.

Now I really wish I could start or restart my pc without staring at a blank screen and the problem of code 43 with Nvidia GeForce GT 635. Also, I would if I could have the option to upgrade my PC to sleep. I really miss it and do not have to constantly reboot my computer to be able to see anything on the monitor.

I hope someone can help me with these questions without having to reset the pc and reinstall, all over again, that the problem still exists in other cases (I don't have a copy of the installation of programs pre-installed dells so...). This computer is only 2 years old, it didn't need to be retired.

NVIDIA GeForce GT 635 (PCI\VEN_10DE & DEV_1280) the card is physically wrong and needs to be replaced.

I ran recently on my Windows XP Home Edition SP3 computer system recovery and once the recovery is finished I rebooted the system and then this message and I'm stuck here.

I don't have any disc that came with the computer because it was very long ago already. I tried to download the 'Home Edition Set Up disk for Floppy Boot Installation of Windows XP"Microsoft, but I can't launch the ff:

    Windows XP Home Edition
    Windows XP Home Edition SP1
    Windows XP Home Edition SP2

I can't create the configuration of disk for home edition, SP1, and SP2 because this computer I use currently is a 64 bit and no floppy drive. That's why I downloaded this instead:

  • Purple-Help error code

Does anyone know how to fix Code Purple error?

I promised to give my Compaq Presario SR 1103WM computer to my nephews. My computer worked fine. But I don't have the system recovery discs I did a F10 (the full system restore) this morning. Now, I get a "System Configuration Error" message and the Code purple error.

I called Technical Support for HP/Compaq and the representative at the start of the questions whether or not I had added or changed any hardware. Two years ago, the modem passed away during a storm. I got a guarantee of Wal-mart and they sent someone on who replaces the modem.

Representatives of HP/Compawq put me on hold for a long time with the impression that it is what is the question. When she returns his 'coup' has the motherboard on my computer went bad.

Now, because my system is more than 5 years old, she suggested that to buy a new computer. That's all just useless. I don't think my motherboard "spontaneously" as the recovery of the system went wrong. I'm really embarrassed because I do not believe that an easy one, I got an honest answer.

Can someone tell me how to fix Code Purple error? Is there a cancellation in the manner the incomplete system restore?

Code Purple is an exclusive problem of HP, the simplest solution is to avoid. However, it is already too late for you as for me. Basically, it's an attempt to force you to pay to repair or upgrade your PC, or if you have not learned the first time, buy a new one. Here's the most concise answer I found, tried to translate it into plain English.

ENGLISH SIMPLE EASY AND FAST, DIFFICULT FOR ALL SYSTEMS *.
Windows 7 code purple or purple code Windows Vista

With error code purple on the screen, press SHIFT + f10 (the shift key and press F10 (at the top of the keyboard) at the same time) to open a small screen called command prompt. (So you get a small black screen with white text that says something about your first Windows version and ways down a bit, you will see "C:\ > '.)   It is all ready before you start typing.)
Type the following line, just as you see here...

    Notepad C:\hp\bin\checkdmi\checkdmi.cmd

so it will look like this

    C:\>Notepad C:\hp\bin\checkdmi\checkdmi.cmd

    Press ENTER.

You will see the text of the file listed in a window using a simple text editor.
Go to the beginning of the text. Press ENTER to set a space. This type...

    Goto cleanup

Therefore, everything that comes after that, the first line looks like this...

    Goto cleanup

Save the Notepad file and exit and restart your PC. You're good to go.

Thank you for the information. I suggest that you unplug all USB connections and refresh your laptop. Then try to use your webcam. I think that the problem with the USB connection that gives you the error and not your webcam. Here is a document on how to update your PC to solve problems (Windows 8).

If you are still experiencing a problem with the webcam and then one of the documents in the previous post should help now. Any stage of document Windows 8 will be the same for Windows 8.1.

I'm also including this document how trouble Code 43 errors that will help determine which USB product causes the error to appear.

  • Example: Pavilion p6-2350 pc: How do I change bytes to feature on a Pavilion p56-2350 pc with Windows 8

I replaced the motherboard, but is unable to change the featurebyte in the BIOS for windows 8 will be activated.

This must be done when a motherboard is installed in the device, and not to do so can lead to errors during the HP recovery discs use and give a "Code Purple" in windows, causing the operating system to be blocked down and unable to serve. How work the HP recovery discs is they compare the featurebyte and build entry ID information on the motherboard and compares them to a list of models that the specific recovery disk is available for. If it does not match any of the models it will give an error that the disks are not compatible with the computer and will not go further, this error will occur before the coming Recovery Manager. If records are poorly done, or the model selected incorrectly on them through the comparison of ID featurebyte/Build then it incorrectly partition the drive and give a fatal error with a 0 x error code, this happens because the partition for the operating system is so small that the image that HP uses or they are installing additional software are unable to fit on the partition that is made. Once again, the recovery are at fault in this case, or the tattoo is the question itself.

For offices of consumption, this process breaks down into two procedures. If the BIOS is a v5, then you are out of luck because you will need a CPC_DMI drive, which is available only to technicians certified HP. If it is a V6, then you have a thin ray of hope. Press CTRL + F10 to enter the BIOS instead of just normal F10. If you go in the Section ID system, or if you have the latest BIOS (which has File, storage, starting at the top), then you will need to press CTRL + A to enter this section. In this section, the system IDs or CTRL + A, you will have a bunch of entries, where different values can be entered. If you don't select anything, then you are not in the Advanced BIOS and must try to enter it again. If you can highlight things but not press on enter and edit them, then you're out of luck that you need a BIOS_UPDATE utility for reeset DMI information, it is also disclaimed except to HP certified technicians.

If, by chance, you are able to highlight and change the values that you are very lucky because you don't need the disc. Simply fill out the information on this screen with two small notes which must be known. The model he is claiming is actually the number of unit. The Reference is in fact the model number. The featurebyte is case-sensitive, do not use spaces, and certainly include the. XX at the end. The build ID should not include the "*" but should include the #DABA #SABA. If you get an error that the featurebyte was not accepted, something is not entered correctly, try again (this is always the case, it is always bad when this error.)

If you use a laptop, you are out of luck, as special files to a bootable USB key are needed, I am not very familiar with this process, but only HP Certified technicians are given files.

If you use a commercial desktop or all-in-one, then you can just enter the IDs system and edit them in the BIOS, it's super easy and you shouldn't need to disks.

    Hope this clears somethings
