  I understand that the WiFi no longer works on your HP Pavilion e015tx 15. I want to help you solve this problem.

  Please start by a hard reset. After that, follow the steps in this troubleshooting wireless document:

  You can also try rolling back the drivers.

  1. Press Win + r keys

  2. Type "devmgmt.msc" and then click on 'OK '.

  3. click on the 'View' tab, then 'show hidden devices '.

  4. scroll and select the option "network adapters."

  5. right click on the RT3290 Wi - Fi adapter, and then select "Properties".

  6. choose the tab "driver".

  7. click on "Roll Back Driver".

• LaserJet M1536 printing and scanning Issues (cable network)

  So I have a LaserJet M1536 I installed the drivers on my computer to WIndows 7 (64-bit). It worked fine for printing until last night and I can't for the life of me it works again.

  I have the computer plugged into the network, and it worked until I tried to scan a document. It would not work, and then after that nothing would print. The e-print on a mobile device will work but not from my windows machine. I tried to run the doctore scan and it says everything is working.

  I then uninstalled the drivers and I downloaded the latest version of the HP technical support.  Still doesn't solve it.

  After that, I have disabled the firewall on the computer (the windows firewall and the firewall that comes with my suite Norton anti-virus. Still no luck.

  I restarted the printer, my PC, my network (modem and router) several times.

  Is someone can you please help me solve my problem, because it is really holds my productivity and I spend a lot of time on this issue.

  What I am doing wrong? The only thing I have not tried is assign a static IP address to the printer.

  What type of router you use, or you use a server like the one mentioned post?

  When you add the printer port, must be a TCP/IP port.

  I have a few other things you can try.

  Power cycle the router, restart the computer, then on the printer.

  Check the IP address, to ensure that it is the same thing.

  Then run the Add Printer Wizard.

  You can always restore your computer to an earlier era where everything was working properly. It could be a Windows Update or a router that has caused this problem.

• LAN/WAN design issues: redundant network core design and equipment

  Dear all,

  I have a growing network that has inherited the reliability and scalability issues:

  (Example from my existing network)

  

  We pop connected with us through lines of CF, that LSPS are connected to our CF traverse on persistent organic pollutants.

  Now, it is necessary to make the core of switching (switch with "?" mark) redundant

  because this is the point of concentration of all connections outside.

  I got an appointment in order to study new equipment (now it's just Catalyst 3560) for this network block.

  Unfortunately, the budget is pretty low.

  I have the following considerations:

  I think that the main problem is that most of the connections is L2 trunk links and it is difficult to prevent this.

  It seems that I need to duplicate all the links to LSP FC, pop and branches (this seems doable) and rely on STP! (this seems bad)

  with all of these links.

  Currently, I have two options for the basic block:

  1. two Catalyst 3750 have duplicated links. (CSW1 LSP1, CSW2-LSP1) and rely on STP

  2. a switch Catalyst 4500 series with two redundant supervisors (probably, they allow to buy if there are strong arguments) have reproduced links and rely on STP.

  These two options do not look good because I have to rely on STP with LSP.

  I would use redundancy features and L3 protocols, but do not know how to avoid trunks

  I have no experience with the material of fantasy as a Catalyst 4500/6500 series.

  Could someone please advice me alternatives for options of design and of the hardware and confirmation or withdrawal of my options.

  Also, I would be grateful if someone could help me find strong arguments for the acquisition of Catalyst 4500 series light up the core.

  in the diagram and description that you provided the switch, you need to replace is a dashboard device that works only for the moment, in L2

  If you plan to go L3 communications in this device, you should review your design to the whole of the network and also review/discuss with MS how that can be converted into L3 communications

  If you want to keep the same as L2 and introduce it into the device or devices for redundancy, I'd rather have two redundant devices of a redundant chassis that I mean pair of 3750 is more reliable chassis 4500 with equipment redundant as soup, UPE however its a reliable option as well and again for sure

  If you rely on STP for redundancy, what is the problem here? It is time of convergence or what is your concern?

  I have a single ESXi 5 host with 2 VM and 2 physical network adapters.

  There were 2 vSwitches configured on the host computer, and each NETWORK adapter is assigned to its own vSwitch.

  Each virtual machine is assigned to its own vSwitch so.

  VM1 VM2 bound traffic crosses the vSwitch-> through the physical network card > via the physical switch > back in the other network adapter > through the another vSwitch > and VM2

  OR

  It somehow goes directly from VM1 VM2 to since they are on the same host?

  PS. There is no VLAN configured, just a very basic network.

  They're called a vSwitch for a reason. If these are two different that they cannot communicate directly. The traffic has to go through the physical card.

  As you said, VM1 VM2 to crosses the vSwitch---> physical Nic---> physical switch---> other---> Phisical Nic---> another vSwitch and VM2

  Otherwise, you might have two machines, sitting on the same vSwitch and have several uplink connected to this vSwitch.

• Two networks, ESXi Server?

  We have two server VLAN in our environment (99 and 30). The 99 (10.99.x.x) is old and slowly be phased out and machines are moved to the 30 most recent (10.10.30.x). I also work on an upgrade to VMware infrastructure. We have a mixture of former host ESX 3.x and 4.x and ESXi 4.1 will visit. (I'm also relatively new to VMware so forgive my ignorance). My question concerns the following scenario.

  Host 1 is on the LAN 10.10.30.x and a few machines running. I need to do an upgrade on this host, but first migrate the machines off.

  Host 2 is on the LAN 10.99.x.x but we want the version of ESXi. I'll use this as a waiting area for machines while their hosts are upgraded. There are 2 NETWORK interface on this host card, NIC0 is configured on the VLAN 99 with management related to her network. I created a second virtual switch and he attributed to NIC1. This NIC is connected to a switch that has the switchport configured on the VLAN 30.

  I'm lost what to set up then. (Maybe nothing) Perhaps I am confused because I had to put an IP address on NIC0 (network management). I have to NIC1 IP with another network management? I would stay on the 99 VLAN NIC0 and NIC1 to be on VLAN 30 so when I transfer machines to the host, I can configure just the appropriate VSwitch so I don't have to re - IP them.

  virtual networks are not very different physical networks. The IP address you assign, is assigned to the management of ESXi host, not to the NIC itself, it is not necessary to attribute the anthers IP address to the other network adapter.

  What I recommend is that you plan to configure the network using the VST host, i.e. configure physical ports as junction (for Cisco) ports or ports (for other providers) tag and assigning the VLAN ID on the groups of individual ports. In this way, you can use a unique vSwitch with two uplinks connected for a better distribution of redundancy and load.

  We have purchasd EMC SAN NX4 which is iscsi.  We have also 3 ESX server, we have installed ESXi on them.  My question is, in this version, I can create two types of connection a connection of the management and the other is vmkernal.  As I understand it the vmkernal is used for iscsi, vmotion, and NFS.  VMware told me that all this can be on the same network.  VMware tells me that if I quick vMotioning much something is not so generally for vmotion traffic is light.  Technology EMC says something different, he says that vmotion and iscsi connections should be different network.  So I'm a bit confused.  Please let me know what is the best way to proceed.

  It depends on how many resources you have available on your ESX servers. If you have only 2 NIC card then you can not sperate VMotion and iSCSI. But recommended say seprate LAN, IP LAN, LAN seprate Managment seprate Storage VMotion. (includes failove)

  Now its up to you and your information TECHNOLOGY budget. These days LAN cards are pretty cheap so you can put more card and easily separate traffic.

• Networking ESXI establish two vswitches and 2 NICs on different networks.

  All of our users have problems connecting to the Digital Publishing Suite through the Folio Builder in InDesign.  Whenever we try to connect, we get a "connection failed.  Please try again. "error.  I'm almost certain, it's something in our network, which is the origin of the problem, but I would like to see if I can refine it so I can direct our security guy by making an exception.  I think that the DPS use only port 443 for communication so I'll make sure it's open, but are there other potential areas where I can do some research?

  Looks like it is a problem of proxy and not a firewall issue.  Clear the proxy settings in Internet Explorer seems to do the trick.  It is a work decent around until we find how to configure our server proxy allowing these exceptions.

• Domestic issue of networking

  Both of my computers are running Windows XP and are both on my home network through a Linksys router.  The router is connected by cable to my desktop and my other computer which is a portable computer is connected to the wireless network.  Regarding the connection to the internet through the router, both computers work fine. The problem I have is strictly networking that my office is able to connect to my laptop but my laptop cannot connect to the desktop computer.  My office, I am able to access the shared files on my laptop, but not vice versa.  When I try to access my desktop to my laptop I get this error message"\\dell8200 is not accessible.  You might not have permission to use this network resource.  Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have the permission to access.  The network address is not valid.  I tried to change the name of the fo office computer but still nothing works.  I checked and both computers use the same workgroup, which incidentally is obvious by the fact that the laptop is visible on the desktop.   My question is how can I solve this problem?

  First of all you can try disabling IPv6 on your PC.

  To do this:

  1. Start > Control Panel > view network status and tasks (under network and Internet)
  2. Has chosen to manage network connections in the left menu
  3. Right-click on Local area connection and select Properties
  4. In the pop up box, uncheck the following:
     • Internt Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)
  5. Click OK, and then RESTART your computer

• HP OfficeJet 6700 - issues of networking after computers changed from cable wireless...

  We have changed our whole yesterday and left two computers (a Mac and a Windows 7 PC) be wireless to connect to the router.  The installation of the printer has not changed (it is set up wireless for everything).  The Mac has had no problem finding the printer and print as usual.  The PC was not able to print from.  It shows the printer as a faded option.  Print jobs that were sent in the print queue, but does not print.  I downloaded and used the doctor printing & scanning HP, including the wizard on the printer wireless, but have failed to get the connection works.  I appreciate any help you can offer.  Also, I apologize if I'm wrong at all since this is my first post and first visit to this forum.  Thank you!
