Try installing acrobat.  Entered the redemption Code and it says that the purchase has not been activated.  Best buy said it has and even included the serial number on the receipt to use for activation.  Still does not work

  A disable the old installation before you uninstalled?  If this isn't the case, then it is always considered as enabled, which could mean that you have all your activations in use.  You can contact the Adobe Support via chat and ask them to reset your activations.

  Here are the steps that you can follow.

  1 change the location of installation using Creative Cloud Desktop App, go to preference > creative cloud > Apps and change the installation location.

  2. delete the folder '%Temp%' and restart the process.

  NOTE: Application is downloaded to the default location, we can only customize the installation location using creative cloud app in this case.

  Acrobat 7 is really an old version of acrobat & might not be compatible with your system configuration to features may or may not work.

  This is the reason why Adobe recommends always using the application in a consistent environment.
