• I can't preview my doc html using notepad ++ in FireFox. It is visible in other browsers. In addition, I had no problem until I upgraded to 15. Please advise?

  I used notepad ++ to save a html doc in my office. It is encapsulated in the FireFox icon. However, when I click to open it... nothing happens. RT click on open with Explorer option and Chrome is fine. I want FF.

  I had no problem last week the views of my programming work as I make changes.

  I upgraded to version 2 of 15 days and this is the only html doc that will not fill. All other sites are very well secured and not.

  Browsers that support HTML5 of entry controls and CSS3 : invalid pseudo-class provide this out-of-the-box behavior. In browsers without this support, the control will be look and behave like an element of basic text. Using a standard class of invalid attribute is not somehow the same. Build this behavior yourself for browsers without HTML5 support is much more complicated. (It would be an idea looking for plug-ins which provide similar functionality).

  I'd be inclined to use these HTML5/CSS3 features like a form of progressive enhancement, their inclusion to the benefit of users with compatible browsers and enabling them to degrade gracefully to basic controls in older versions, where your standard APEX validation will go and indicate possible errors.

  I'm learning to work with the div code in Dreamweaver.

  I have an id for the main container named wrapper which is 900px wide and I have 3 div inside what are the blocks just long enough to type. Each div (#history, #attitudes, #per) is 300px wide at the height of fall for the type. I want then next to each other, and right now they are just a long column with 3 sections, each has a different background color. Here's the code so far... I'm playing with the float and positioning but nothing I do works.  In the end, it takes just 3 columns side by side. Each column has a tag of header for the name of the topic and the rest is just using the body per tag can someone help me get the columns next to each other using the code?

  Because of the padding, I added width to the wrapper and made 30% wide... I'll play with it to level things... but it's what I was hoping.

  The code looks the same, except his internal style sheet... do you think that there was a problem with that linked?

  There are a few mistakes and no way to see what the outcome will be.  Try the following and see how it differs...

  In Flex, you can have expressions other than declarations and initializations outside a function.

  So, you can declare and initialize variables outside a function of the 'line' and 'i', but you can't have a statement outside a function trace().

  So, does not comment on the signature of the function and the closing brace matching.

  I want to learn html and css.  I googled and asked the question that I should learn first.  Most of the responses said that there not a lot of difference.  I got several different answers as to which version that I should learn.  I'm a beginner so that the forms of html and css should learn to get a better handle on DW.

  You should learn the version that is currently adopted by the W3C as a standard.  It would be HTML 4.01 and CSS2.  Knowing that those will position you for a segue in HTML5 and CSS3 (this one which is not so different from what you have learned already), as soon as they become the standard.

• Safari 9.1.3 textedit html/css not displaying does not correctly

  I am trying to learn html/css and I'm going through a basis of teaching course that you type some html and css style, and then open it in Safari.

  I went to textedit preferences and selected plain text, I unchecked .txt extension and saved as index.html to try it in safari, and it does not display properly, are there other settings should I set in textedit or safari so that it appears correctly. Here is my simple html text. Safari does not display the style.

  Hi, before I search it or open a case of taking charge, I thought I'd ask you nice smart people.

  We try to download HTML in Chinese and Portuguese in E10. It comes out gibberish. In E9, allows us to select the "International Language Support (UTF - 8, Unicode)" option when the download, but I do not see where this possibility exists in E10. "

  If anyone else has experienced this? We save the bad HTML? Are we mad? Should we just use the new editor of fantasy?

  Hi Stacey,

  Eloqua 10, this option will be on the email itself, rather than during the download Assistant. You can find it under the gear icon - settings, and there will be a drop down option for text encoding.

  However, it also seems that your source file is unable to be correctly saved in the UTF-8 format when it is created. Depending on the program that you use to create the file, it may or may not be an option to select the text encoding to record. If there is, choose UTF-8 here should eliminate the problem, as in Eloqua the default encoding is UTF-8. If it is not the case, you can also have your web team try to open the html file in Notepad and save again. The notebook will give you the option to set text encoding, so that you can select UTF - 8 even if your source program (dreamweaver, frontpage, etc.) does not offer this option.

  If this does not solve the problem, please open a case with the support and provide the file, and we can certainly take a look at what may be the problem.

• Cannot generate the main provision in RoboHelp HTML X 5

  Several years ago, I had created a project using RoboInfo Publisher 5.  It's a fairly broad knowledge base with several folders, themes and a decent index.  When I switched computers recently I have tried to reinstall RoboInfo 5, to see that I could not activate it.  When I called Adobe support, it gave me an installer for RoboHelp X 5 as RoboInfo was is no longer supported.

  Now, when you try to update my existing project to RoboHelp HTML X 5, I find the menu selection to generate primary layout page is grayed out.  I can create a new project and publish it without problem, but I can't get my existing to publish.  After some research, I deleted the CPD file and reopen the project.  The first time I open it, after that the index is re-created, I can select in the menu generate main layout, but nothing comes.  If I close and reopen the app, the menu selection is grayed out again.

  Any thoughts?

  I installed Windows 7 RC today and trying the route of a local domain in C:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc/hosts, but get an error when you try to save it with Notepad:

  "You don't have permission to save in this location. Contact the administrator for approval. »

  If I try to save it to my documents and then copy the file over I have another error:

  "You need give the administrator permission to copy to this folder."

  My account is the only account is already an administrator.

  How can I do this?

  Right click on Notepad, and choose Run as administrator. Click on file, then open, then navigate to

  \Windows\system32\drivers\etc

  In the menu drop-down edit files text (*.txt) to all files (*. *)

  Open the hosts file and change now :-)
