  To validate a design of replication, I'm putting in place a pair of active standby of a cache on a group my portable linux (ubuntu). I have installed two data warehouses on the same instance of TT - cgdsn and master2
  
  I created a group of active usermanaged on DS TT cache and began an active standby replication using the following sql:

  What is the DSN definition for cgdsn_tt70?

  It could be a problem with the - from clause in the - duplicate order. Assuming that your dsn definition is defined with the attribute of DATA store to be similar to the following:

  [mydsn]
  Data store = / tmp/storeds

  And your ttRepAdmin-double command is similar to the following:

  ttRepAdmin-double - mydsn...

  You need the value of the parameter for - the option to reflect the prefix of the file name of the data store. The ttRepAdmin command above should be:

  ttRepAdmin-double - storeds

  That is to say - of mydsn

  becomes

  -of storeds

  as long as they are installed in different paths and use different ports, you should have no problem. but this is not a topology best suited to production environments.

• Cannot access site of firefox or google chrome on linux but can virtual XP on the same machine

  Run firefox 3.6.24 under Fedora core 14 64-bit. Could not load certain pages of the website with firefox or google chrome schoolfusion. I do not found Server error. On the same machine a virtual XP with IE or chrome can access the site. I checked the release of wireshark and the query is DNS as well as a good answer to the query or the dns returns the correct ip address. So I don't understand why the server error. On the same website, a link that works starts with 2 identical DNS queries, both get identical answers. There are a few settings network under linux only?

  It is "fixed" now, it turns out that the problem was that URLS that wouldn't have. It's a dash followed by a period.

  What I still don't understand, is why the error message was not clear. He said that he could not find the server but it reported the entire string, including the...   Yes you can reinstall Windows Vista by using the Windows Vista Upgrade activation disk works perfectly. Make sure you have your 25-digit product key.

  I am faced with a really simple but delicate scenario. My ISP gives me IP addresses public 2, both in the same network. They also gave me the default gateway which is of course in the same network too.

  I need two fully operational ip addresses, but I realized that I can't have two interfaces (routed interfaces) in the same network segment. I have just a single router (Cisco 2911). A friend told me that I might be able to set this up using VRF, but as far as I have read, there is no way to use VRF to achieve this.

  Is it possible to use two (or more) ip addresses to redirect traffic to the same default gateway in the same router?

  Hi Miguel,.

  If you want just your 2911 have set up two public IP addresses, you can set one of them as secondary IP address. Suppose that 192.0.2.1/29 is your default gateway, and 192.0.2.2/29 and 192.0.2.3/29 are your IP addresses. So to have both configured, you'd:

  interface Gigabit0/0/0 ip address 192.0.2.2 255.255.255.248 ip address 192.0.2.3 255.255.255.248 secondary

  When I buy my Mac, I was told that I could run Win 7 on a virtual machine using the Parallels application. I bought the Parallels software and an OEM Version of Win 7 Home Premium and istall and activate it without any problem. Recently, my hard drive crashed and I need to replace the hard drive and reinstall all software including the virtual machine and Win 7. I could not reactivate the Win 7 and I could not reactivate the Win 7 on the same machine.

  Their support came back with a long history to this subject and this restriction and in short to expect me to buy a version full of Windows 7 to install in Mac. Y at - it another way to activate windows because there is no phone number that I can call them and talk to them. Why OEM version is freely available and still no appropriate advice are given to the retailer t explain some limitations? Consumers like us usually bear the burden of all these issues as the purchase of a legal but copy cannot be activated and suckers feels when we were told a long string of legal things that did not communicate to us when we buy.

  It is one of the reasons why it is not a good idea to use an OEM software in virtual machines.

  I have 2 jdev on my machine.
  It creates two files of system.x.x.x - that's it - no conflict.
