Two Modules questions: Debug & amp; Events

Hello

I have a question and a question regarding the Modules:

(1) I use the Mac beta version and for some reason when I build a Module project or select the 'Run the Application' option for the MXML Module file, the debug version of the SWF file is not be compiled. As far as I know, the settings that I currently don't prevent that from happening. Anyone has any idea why? I'm puzzled.

(2) if the events are dispatched via a loaded module, the Application loading it can register listeners for events? I can't find a clear answer to this anywhere in the documentation. You would think that this would be referenced somewhere, whether it is possible or not. I really hope that it is possible.

Thank you

Justin

Hi Alex,

Thanks for your response!

What I was looking for to confirm, is that events sent from a Module will be spread through the Application that loaded. I confirmed it works, at least when the Module is implemented in MXML. I tried the same thing by using a module based on ActionScript and had the opposite effect, but that was before I determined why the debug version of my module SWF file was not compiled bein, who was...

Apparently the debug version of the SWF file is compiled only if your Module is set as the default Application for a project. It may or may not also be a problem to have that Module value to compile in Flex Modules of the Application Properties dialog box. Once I put my Module as the default application and removed from the Flex Modules dialog box, I had the SWF, I needed to debug. Now I need to test this with a Module based on ActionScript, but given the documents for events, unless my ActionScript Module is on the DisplayList, the event will be distributed directly to the target and the Application will not be aware of the event.

Your example will be great for cases where I need to make an application aware of the user to interact with the components in the Module. Thank you!

  • Conflict between the module session and seminar event

    Hello

    We use a 100 Adobe Connect license webinar and module Adobe Event. We have the following problem.

    -Seminar room AI availlable and well structured

    -Using the Event Module to schedule an event (works fine)

    -Return to the seminar room to open a session of seminar (for better viewing, for the same regular time)

    -Seminar session scheduling failed (conflict with a scheduled event of Module Event)

    Question:

    An event, planned with the Adobe events Module, having the same rights like a seminar (planned as an event inside the seminar room regular seminar).

    I'm not sure that the Adobe events Module takes the same options as the seminar session planner standard.

    If all goes well, there is an expert, who can help me solve this issue.

    Best greetings from Hamburg,

    Martin

    Planning an event in a room of seminar with the events module creates the session of the seminar. I remember that is not present in the list of future sessions.

    The feature you explain is so as expected with Connect. This way you don't have to plan the event twice, or get caught in a bad situation, because you created the event but didn't provide for the session.

  • cDAQ Module Question

    Hello

    I currently have the following equipment:

    cDAQ-9178

    OR-9401

    OR-9219

    I use the module OR 9401 to drive the output PWM signals is calculated by a PID controller in two controlled thermal systems.  I use the NOR-9219 module to measure temperature, such as remote sensing by thermistors.  These temperature values are used in my PID controller to calculate the error.

    I am now interested in measuring a number of other temperatures on my device using thermocouples (these temperatures are necessary only - no controller action based on them).  9219 module is ideal for my PID controller, that I can use to detect the very precise Thermistors, but it has only 4 entries.  I'm considering adding a NI 9213 Module to my setup to activate the additional analysis that I need...  My question is this - this module will be compatible with my setup?  for example can I simultaneously run two analog modules (9219 & 9213)?  Is it reasonable to try to make the PID regulation and this extra temperature monitors simultaneously?

    Thanks in advance for your comments!

    See you soon!

    Hello JB_1,

    What is are describing is undoubtedly reasonable and feasible with the hardware you have.  9178 has several Motors synchronization to analog input, so you can configure separate tasks for two different modules if you want to acquire simultaneously and at different rates.

  • Retractable module question

    I use FB 4.7 with SDK 4.11. Does anyone have the same problem? Is something like this posted before?

    Any ideas?

    Thank you!

    Change width to transform effectively extends the graphics.  Tramsforms are properties of Flash animation at low altitude.  You must find what Flex widget is the cause of the width of the transformation of change.

    If you look at the width of the transformation of the entire parent chain, I guess that at some point transformation from the top parent widths do not change, as the request and SystemManager for sure.  Regardless of the component is the largest and the lowest to change is two places to begin studying.

  • Two part question about multicam sync and placement

    Hello.  I am a newbie to FCP, and I have a few questions.

    1. I have two camera angles and I was wondering if I can sync the audio manually (to exactly match the Visual part), because the automatic method using FCP is an a little off.

    2. question 2 - when I read the camera angles in the window, they are placed vertically.  Is there a way I can place them horizontally rather than vertically?  And a camera angle may be greater in size than the other, instead of being 50-50, it can be 70/30, for example?

    Thank you for your help.

    Is there a quick and easy way to do this?  Thank you.

  • Satellite L50D-C-18J - two modules of RAM but single track only

    Hi all

    A few days ago I got the Toshiba Satellite L50D-C-18J with A10 - 8700P AMD processor.

    Factory 1 with 8 GB (DDR3L 1600 MHz) memory module are installed. According to various tools (AIDA64, HWInfo64, CPU - Z), the memory will operate at 668 MHz, that is to say 1333 MHz mode.

    The free memory slot I have with another 8 GB DDR3L held at 1600 MHz (with the same memory timings, but other manufacturers). The Bank will continue to operate only in single channel mode and not in dual channel mode. The A10 CPU should support.

    I have installed the latest version of the BIOS.

    We have an idea of how I have the dual-channel mode and can set the frequency of the memory? In the BIOS, there is unfortunately almost no parameter or someone has the same laptop model and with it dual-channel mode is running?

    Thanks and greetings

    Mario

    Hello. Another manufacturer is not a problem.
    You should check the following:
    (1) make sure that the two RAM modules operating at 1.35v. Search the Internet, what should be the supply voltage of the RAM you have installed. If this does not work at 1.35v then that's the problem.
    (2) whether these RAM modules supports ECC. If one of your RAM supports ECC and the other is not, that's the problem.

  • Satellite L30-113 does not recognize the two modules DIMM RAM

    Hello

    I have a Toshiba laptop Satellite L30 113.
    It has 512 MB of RAM and therefore struggled to run Windows Vista, so I bought another 1 GB of RAM.
    It's DDR2 553 MHZ (PC4200.

    The problem I have is that the laptop does not recognize both DIMMs, i.e. the old 512 MB and the new 1 GB when they are in the whole PC. I tried the two DIMM individually in both slots and there is no problem, but when I install both the system sees just 1 GB. I tried the DIMMs around two ways but without success.

    Did I miss something?
    They should be the same size as in the bad old days?
    What is going on?

    Thank you

    Adam

    > I tried the two DIMM individually in both slots and there is no problem, but when I install both the system sees just 1 GB
    Seems that the two RAM modules are not completely compatible...
    I've read several times on these issues and to be honest it s are not uncommon

    I advise you to buy two identical RAM modules ad then to try again

    I'm afraid there is no other solution for your problem of m.

  • [FlexRIO] Is it possible to define two modules e/s for my FlexRIO

    Hi all

    I developed an application to perform a test on a digital ASIC business and have a number of PXI chassis each with an installed FlexRIO. I have two flavors of DIO FAM the NI6581 & the OID NI6583. I want to write the code LV FPGA so that the application can use either FAM that it is mounted on the FlexRIO. Is it possible to set both FAMS IO in the LV FPGA project and the code detect what FAM is mounted and from there select the e/s to use?

    Thank you

    Nick

    Nick,

    While you could not define 2 FAMs under a single FPGA target in the project, you can do the following:

    1. create two targets FPGA, one for each Module IO

    2. write two screws FPGA separate, one for each Module IO

    3 compile the two bitfiles

    4. write a VI host that uses the host FlexRIO screw interface to check which adaptor module is attached.

    5. deploy the appropriate bitfile depending on which adapter module is attached.

    Keep in mind, we do not recommend the adaptation modules FlexRIO hot spare so that you wish to power your system every time you had to adapt modules.

    I hope this helps!

  • Two screen question: Control Panel appears on the screen 1 but the mouse is on the screen 2 and so I can't access

    I have a Sony Vaio laptop connected to a stand alone monitor. I don't use the laptop screen unless there is a problem and then I had to alternate between the two screens using Fn F7 key.

    A problem has occurred with the rundll32 process (which I'm trying to fix separately) and this led to the PC automatically flicking between screens and then stick with the independent monitor but in low resolution (so I couldn't access the tool bar along the bottom).

    I went to control panel to change the resolution to high, but the question of rundll32 kept close the process.

    This left me with icons on the desktop of the monitor stand alone, a white color on the laptop screen (it is normally black) and the ease of Fn F7 does not (said the service is not available).

    When I click on Control Panel on the screen of stand alone, it opens on the screen of the laptop, but I can't access it because the function of the mouse is on the screen to stand alone.

    Can someone help before I go out drinking?

    Thanks, Temp.

    I seem to have solved the problem. It seems that display order has been reversed and so I just had to move the mouse to the right of the screen to stand alone (I had been pushing against the left hand side) to move on the screen of the laptop. From there on, I played a bit with the display settings in the control panel and, although the issue of the always kept dllrun32 throw me out, seems to be back on the screen of stand-alone only, with the correct resolution and the Fn f7 works again. This means I can put the top back on bottle of vodka, at least until the next issue of dllrun32 arises.

  • Upgrade to version 6.0 SourceFire Module questions

    We have just implemented SourceFire Module version 5.4.1 on our ASA recently, but want to upgrade to version 6.0. I've been through Notes version 6.0 for the upgrade, which are dated to November 2015, but had a few questions that I was hoping someone here could answer:

    -Our FireSIGHT Management Center is a virtual appliance of 64-bit. Can we install version 6.0 on a virtual appliance VMWare running on EXSi 6.0? The only issue date list 5.1 and 5.5 ESXi ESXi.

    -Should what files I use for the update? The Release Notes say to use "SourceFire_3d_Defense_Center_S3_upgrade - 6.0.0 - 1005.sh. My choice on Cisco's Support site are: asasfr-sys - 6.0.0 - 1005.pkg, asasfr-5500 x-boot - 6.0.0 - 1005.img and Cisco_Network_Sensor_Upgrade - 6.0.0 - 1005.sh. I guess the sys-asasfr - 1005.pkg - 6.0.0 is for CME, and the Cisco_Network_Sensor_Upgrade - 6.0.0 - 1005.sh is for the ASAs.Is that right?

    -How long will the update for FMC and ASAs? The ASA is a 5516 x and the release notes look like they say that the update will take about 41 minutes.

    ESXi 6.0 is not officially supported so that your experience may vary. If you get stuck, you may TAC by telling you that you're on your own.

    "Cisco_Network_Sensor_Upgrade - 6.0.0 - 1005.sh" is used to upgrade the fire ASA power module in the Manager of firepower.

    If you were a fabricated construction or reimage then you would use the boot images and sys respectively.

    41 minutes for CME is right. As mentioned Philip, 2 hours is a better estimate of the ASA module, especially on a smaller area as the X 5516.

    Yes, GTA4 was the worst conglomerate of DRM never, until that time.
    -You need not log in to the Social Club. I'm not positive, but I don't think that it is still running.
    -You want to patch the game, but I do not remember how, so check with the forums
    specific to GTA4 to see if you should go beyond say patch 1.5.
    -The 1.5 patch, I thought was supposed to remove Social Club, but I still have the pop-up window
    before I tell him to go away.
    -The game also needs a fix for GFWL.  I think remember me stuffing things GFWL upward and obtaining of
    the fix is fairly common. GTA4 modding sites have a fix called xliveless.dll for this.

    If I was the one to help me I would like to in the sense of the Cisco TAC. Do you have one tips other than that? :)

    If Yes, you will need to open a case with Cisco TAC and advance in the process of bug, which could take many months.

  • B200 M2 - 1333 MHz supported with two modules DIMM per channel?

    Review of the 5500 to 5600 processor series Intel framework was for the maintenance of speed of the memory at 1333 MHz (for processors that support) with two DIMMs per channel. Will be a B200 M2 with x56xx processors run at 1333 MHz with two DIMMs per channel memory?

    Thank you

    Jeff

    The above answer is Incorrect.  You CAN fill (2) modules DIMM per channel on the B200 M2 and the memory will be at 1333 Mhz clock (assuming that you use rated 1333 Mhz DIMMS - DIMMs 8 GB or smaller).  Therefore, up to 96 GB running at 1333 Mhz.

    See you soon,.

  • Two quick questions (hopefully) - right way to dynamically change the CSS class and put of Splash screen implemented

    Couple of quick questions have left me speechless!

    So, it seems obvious that many JavaFX applications want to dynamically change the CSS styles.  Is the best way to do it through la.getStyleClass () .add ("classname") < node >?  The underlying data structure is a list of observable.  So let's say we have 5 styles that simply to change the fill color of a circle of 5 different colors, respectively.  So if I have a condition in which I want to dynamically apply 1 of these 5 styles, as I do now it's by setting all 5 styles as a string in a list by using a static initializer, then I call < node > .getStyleClass () .removeAll (list), then getStyleClass () .add ("classname").  I do this to avoid adding again and still the same style and inflate the underlying list.  What is the right way to manage dynamic CSS styles?

    Finally a very simple I think.  So I know there's a little differently to implement a splash screen.  My app has certainly got bigger in the last few months of development and I noticed there are about a 5 second delay between when I run the application when I see the main stage.  I was thinking what a splash screen would be nice to fill that time.  I had no time to prototype using a Preloader and I fear that using another, early stage start-up again would be too long of a delay.  "I actually thought that using the Nice and simple JVM argument" - splash: image name > "would be simple, easy and effective.  Unfortunately when I try to do, the splash screen appears but never goes away.  Anyone know what is happening with this?

    Your mechanism to manage the css style classes is a good approach; I've used several times. I wonder why the style classes have been implemented as a list, instead of a game, but there may be cases of good use for the use of a list.

    In some cases you can also consider using CSS PsuedoClasses, which were presented in JavaFX 8. Here is a little easier to use, especially if you have two options. But a use case might look like:

    public class Message {
        public enum Status { NORMAL, WARNING, CRITICAL }

        private final ObjectProperty status = new SimpleObjectProperty<>(Status.NORMAL);
        private final StringProperty message = new SimpleStringProperty();

        // constructor, getters, setters, and property accessors....
    }

    public Label createLabel(Message message) {
        PseudoClass warning = PseudoClass.getPseudoClass("warning");
        PseudoClass critical = PseudoClass.getPseudoClass("critical");

        Label label = new Label();
        label.textProperty().bind(message.messageProperty());
        message.statusProperty().addListener((obs, oldStatus, newStatus) -> {
            label.pseudoClassStateChanged(warning, newStatus == Message.Status.WARNING);
            label.pseudoClassStateChanged(critical, newStatus == Message.Status.CRITICAL);
        }
        return label ;
    }

    And then your css looks like

    .label:warning {
        -fx-text-fill: orange ;
    }
    .label:critical {
        -fx-text-fill: red ;
    }

  • LR CC develop Module questions

    Hi all... I write today as I just ran into this issue with the develop module. I have the photographers of CC version that is installed on my machine main home as well as my laptop to the mobile edition. I got the apps installed and working well for a long time. Recently, I upgraded my laptop with a newer machine (I7 Windows based). I logged into my account on my old laptop and machine at home so that I could log on the new laptop. I connected successfully on my machine at home as well as the new laptop. I even edited photos on both machines. A few days ago, I tried importing and editing photos on my laptop. They have imported and I can see them in all the modules in Lightroom, but module development now as completely pink picture area. I rebooted and registered in and the question remains.

    I have attached an image showing the problem and system information. Any help would be appreciated.
