Two monitors on the HP T5545 Thin Client

I've looked everywhere and I can't find an answer. Did somebody get two monitors working with view 4.5 on a HP t4454 thin client?

I have no problem with the client installed on a desktop computer, but when it connects via a thin client display only on a single monitor. We're explains View 4.5 and I really need this to work to justify making the leap to virtual offices for our users.

I've updated the Thin Client at the last image and service packs.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

There should be a drop-down list display when you go to choose your available desktop, allowing you to select "all monitors". I just checked our units to confirm.

  • Two monitors for the HP Pavilion Elite HPE with a Nvidia GeForce GT420

I currently have a HP 2211 monitor x and I have no connection problem which, however, I recently bought a HP s2331a I have bad to configure the monitor because it does not recognize the monitor is there something I am missing or just may not know how to connect the 2nd monitor. Please help me.

Mike, thanks for the clarification and the model of the computer.

There is a DVI - I and HDMI port on the computer.  You probably have to use an adapter to plug one of the monitors.  The key is to ensure that the drivers and software for both screens are installed on the computer.  Otherwise, it will never work properly.

Also, here's a guide that should help you get properly connected.

    Good luck!

Looks like you are facing difficulties regarding the task of the shadow copy in the HP Device Manager

1 shadow task uses the built in VNC server for the HP Device Manager software

    2. If you have installed a separate VNC software on the server of HPDM, there could be a conflict

  • Color variation of Windows 7 on two screens despite the correspondence of the monitors, model, connection & settings

I'm managing about 20 machines to windows 7 64 bit, but have noticed that, in each of them with two screens, there is a slight color variation (right monitor being darker and more colorful) between the two monitors despite the monitors of the same brand and model (workstation make & models vary).

As a test I switched monitors and the problem remains.
I also tested the type of connection cable / in case the fault is due to the difference between VGA/DVI but the prob persists indicating is not the screen, indicating that it is to the BONE (the denominator) as graphics cards vary also in the brand/model.
would be very happy for any help you can offer

  • Thin client recommendation or Advisor

I realize that this issue is somewhat subjective, but I'm hoping to get some good recommendations. We are looking in a VMware View deployment, but we are not familiar with thin clients. We hope to standardize on 1-3 types of thin clients, hopefully with the same provider. Our thinking is that we would have a client who is good for 98% or our users, for "power users" who need a more powerful client and one for the lab machines which were not yet as much as regular users. We are also thinking about a type of 'portable' thin client for some users who currently have laptops (maybe).

I did some research and Wyse seems to be a good brand, but I want to be sure before I recommend something to the top of the line. My main concerns in a thin client are ease of management, security, ease of use (both for administrators and users), saw the transformation of power needed to run tasks users want to (which includes the possibility of two monitors), having the ability to multimedia unloading for the client and the server, and the PRICE.

I found a Wyse V10L for about $320 (running Wyse ThinOS) and a V90L for about $415 (running Windows XPe). I don't know what benefits (or disadvantages) we are running a "thin" compared to Windows XP or XPF OS. Also, I wonder how much memory difference allows a thin client. It seems that many of them come with 128 MB of RAM, but that does not seem a lot. We do not know whether we should target a customer who has at least 512 MB RAM, or if it really matters that much.

I hope that gives you an idea of what we are looking for. I'd appreciate any advice or information on the brands, which OS is to use (or not), what to look for in terms of processing power or memory, etc.. We do not spend more than $500 on a thin client that receive us so close an office price, although I realize that the life expectancy of the thin client must be superior to that of a desktop computer, in theory.

The HP product can do what can do the Wyse, but they have not officially released the software to do it on the t5545, only the XP embedded customers light up to now. That should be coming this month, and yes it does not Add ' l $$$.

For the Wyse, you don't need a server to Add ' l to do the TCX things... and they do not need to be in Active Directory. There are consoles for thin clients two sellers, but those who are for asset tracking/remote management help more as they are for authentication.

  • Wyse thin client: autostart and full screen

I'm testing a wyse computer V10 Thinclient (6.3.0_12) with our Infrastructure perspective (3.0.1 build-142034). There are two problems I couldn't solve:

    • How to configure the session of 'full screen '? I tried fullscreen = yes in the wnos.ini, but this makes no difference, I still see the wyse "taskbar" on the bottom.

    • How to configure a start of the connection. Now I see my inventory on the desktop to wyse as icons, but I want one of them starts automatically.

I found some discussions on similar problems, but no resolution.

    Daniel

If you follow one of these two steps the WYSE thin client will inherent parameters. He does not receive the settings for connections from ini files. He gets the parameters of the broker using our API.  There is nothing there, on the next, WYSE thin client make sure that the connection broker View Manager is configured, which can be done manually, using DHCP options or management of WYSE software. If this is the case, the devices wil inherent of the user or the GPO settings when using logs, launch your default desktop, full-screen if configured.

You have the broker actually part, which is why the option full screen is grayed out, it has recived the default settings of the broker.

  • two monitors for HP Pavilion 500-007 a

I am considering buying desktop HP Pavilion 500-007 a little time. I already have two monitors TeamViewer, two support DVI - I and VGA I'm running just one of the monitors on a HP Pavilion dv7 laptop (laptop current ongoing died after 3 years continuous use).  The current system gives me two monitors to view, computer laptop 17 '' monitor and the Samsung 24 "monitor. I have also a 19 '' Samsung monitor with the same characteristics as the 24 "monitor.

I want to know if I can use both monitors Samsung on the new office at the same time with good results.

Both monitors have no HDMI, only DVI - I and VGA connections.

The new system, I would like to start the monitor 24 "using the DVI - I format and the same thing with a 19" monitor, but the specs of the 500-007 a give only 1 DVI-I have the graphics card or via a connection through HDMI, and then on the motherboard, it shows a VGA port.

What is the best: run 24 '' via DVI - I and the 19 "via VGA or execution 24" via DVI - I and get a DVI - I to HDMI converstion and run two monitors to the graphics card, or alternatively the 24 "on DVI - I and 19" on VGA.

I use photoshop for photo editing, as I do a lot of photography work. Videos etc are not a primary, or games, but as also older in order to use the 24 "to better on Visual acuity.

    Thanks Ailsa

This is the original factory specifications for the desktop HP Pavilion 500-007 a. According to the specification, this model has an AMD Radeon HD 8570 discrete graphics card that supports the use of two simultaneous displays. That this computer is equipped with a discreet graphics card, the video ports on-board integrated are disabled. The AMD Radeon HD 8570 graphics card has a HDMI and DVI - I output and can take care of two digital monitors or a digital and an analog monitor. The supported formats are HDMI, DVI - D and VGA (via a dongle, DVI / VGA).

    Please provide the model number of monitors you want to use with this computer. Two additional DVI - D and VGA monitors as you have indicated, here are some of the possible combinations of connection supported;

    BEST

    Computer > DVI - D cable > monitor

Technology > cable HDMI-DVI or adapter > monitor

    or

    GOOD

Technology > cable HDMI-DVI or adapter > monitor

Computer > adapter DVI / VGA > VGA cable > monitor

  • Two monitors with computer desktop Slimline?

    Hello

I want to set up two monitors with my HP Slimline.  Is this possible?  I know I have to change the graphics card to accommodate two cords.

    Slimline s5310f

    64 bit

    NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430

    LG E2360V LED monitor

    Hello

    You have options:

    1. install a video card that supports two monitors. -> the best performance option

    2. use a video USB adapter/converter.   -> What are your needs of video connection? VGA, DVI orHDMI

    3. use a USB attachable monitor such as this AOC 16 "monitor.

    Option #1.

Look here in HP Partsurfer for video cards that are used in the new Slimline models with a 220 Watt power supply.  These cards have been made specifically for the HP Slimline PC with a 220 watt power supply.

  • HP Pavilion Elite HPE-510 t - two monitors?

    Hello forum!

For work I'll put up a brand new, out-of-the-box, desktop Pavilion Elite HPE - 510 t series, and I'm supposed to put up with two monitors. The monitors are both monitors HP 21 "(not sure model number, but pretty sure this info is irrelevant.) Both monitors have a DVI and a VGA output each.

The problem is... I don't know if the computer can get out to two monitors. I mean, I think it can its such a new computer and the plug about it being very respectable. But at the back of the system, the only entries that I see are:

    1 HDMI

    1 DVI

assortment of 6 audio inputs (speaker, microphone, etc.).

    1 Ethernet

    4 USB PORTS

    and something audio optical

But there is also what appears to be two locations that are "closed" for lack of another word. One is what appears to be a DVI input but with a screwed in black plastic piece. I guess I should remove the plastic and it would be an another DVI but on the plastic was the words "DO NOT REMOVE" so I left alone. The other location is what seems to be a HDMI slot with a black piece of plastic glued to the front.

The computer is capable of ouputting to two monitors?

    and

    What are those waterproof slots?

Good luck with your responses and thanks in advance,

There's a HMDI.  Use a HMDI on DVI connector.  Not very expensive.  Make sure you have the right sex on each end or cable/connector.  See the Big Dave det-related article it upward.
