Two Questions App Builder DPS: Duplicate an App and the version numbering

1 can we duplicate an app to try different options without having to re - enter information from scratch?

2. can I replace the version number of the app, similar to the way you can for Android applications using the online tool?

1 n °

2. not through the UI Builder App for iOS. The only reason why you should never have to change the version number is so he could align with what you already have in store for an application non - DPS so you can upgrade. If you need to change your version number of iOS for this reason, you can contact support and they can help.

I know not how to change the password application and sysadmin in the oracle application. but I have a doubt.

What is required at the bottom of the application when you go to change applications and the sysadmin password in the oracle application.

You must stop the services before you can change the password of user apps, and then run the automatic configuration after changing the password and eventually train services to the top.

Stop down services or the AutoConfig running is not required for SYSADMIN (and other users of the application).

Please suggest me what is the proper way to change the apps and the sysadmin password.

  • Title of the app and the right to keep the title of your publication?

If I had to throw a folio multi App with my name as the title of the App, as I understand it, once the title of the App was approved by Apple the name won't more accessible to anyone, anytime.

Also my App also will not be available on the AppStore if I cancel my subscription DPS in the future.

That makes all the sense to me...

I was invited by co-workers what happens if one wants to get away from DPS for one reason or another in the future? that is, we would be able to take our launch of title and re App via another service on the Apple AppStore? This is all hypothetical for us, but I can't find any info to expand on this, someone could explain how the title of your application behaves and how would it work away or penetrating another service DPS DPS?

We want to future-proof our App titles so any ideas would be helpful.

    Thank you.

The name of your application on the app store is controlled by Apple, not Adobe. So if you were to move to another platform, you will present a software update which would replace the DPS content. It would be pointless to build a new title of the app on the app store.

The best example of what I can think now is The Huffington Post. They have recently moved to a new platform provided and completely redesigned their app but maintained their name in the app store.

    Hope that helps.

Try this first: what happens if you start in safe mode (hold down the SHIFT key during startup), the problems go away?

Try this second in normal startup mode: what happens if you create a new user account and log in as that user, the problems go away?

I'm not sure I'd worry about the plane crashes - it is listed as beta software

  • Update error - 104 despite even signing app and the signing process

I have an android app that I had reconditioned and deployed on a BlackBerry device. The app was built using Eclipse and minSdk 7.

Now, I created a new version of the app Android Studio and minSdk 14.

I use command line tools to repackage, sign, and deploy applications. When you try to update the application on the device by using the tool "Deploy BlackBerry", I get "failed - 104".» Also, in this case when I repackage both the old and the new version of app one after the other using the same tools, keys and passwords, only the input file is different. However I get error - 104 when I try to update.

After showing the error - 104, the app is uninstalled from the device. A "deploy BlackBerry" again, the new application is installed without problems, but this isn't an update, since the old version of the app was previously uninstalled.

    What could be the reason?

The 104 error comes in fact directly from Android.  It indicates that the APK at the BAR (not the file BAR itself) has been signed with a different certificate.  Android is blocking the update because if this difference.  You can verify the signatures used to sign the APKs by using this command:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.#.#_#\bin\jarsigner -verify -certs -verbose myApp.apk > output.txt

output.txt will contain details about the certificate.  To join the APKs, you can open your files of BAR in a program such as WinZip (they are zip files) and extract them.

  • Content of PersistenObject disappears after you remove the app and the new facility

    Hi guys,.

I discovered the following problem with my app:

    1. when I update app with new version all persistent data is stored very well.

    2. when I delete the app and install it again - some of the persistent data disappears, some is always there.

I think it depends on who what is persisted. If there are classes of applications store is deleted on uninstall, if there are classes of system store will not be erased.

Can you tell me about the resource, where it is described?

    Thank you

    Eugen

    I found:

When you use the persistence model of BlackBerry, data is removed only if the store contains data that belongs to the deleted application.

For example, if an application stores an object with a package named com.mycompany.application.storage and no other application on the BlackBerry smart phone makes reference to packaging, permanent storage and the deleted application are removed.

  • duplicates of files and the directory of files

    Currently using 37.0.2
Note that in my file directory I have two folders in Mozilla Firefox.

    We have dates April 2015.
The other has dates February 2014.

Safely remove the record February 2014 and its subdirectories?

    Thank you

There are also some old files Visual Studio 8 with a number added to the screenshot.

You already have a Windows system restore?

Yes, you can delete this folder.
If you want to know which version of Firefox, it is then you can check the application.ini file in a text editor via 'open with '.
