  Hi all

  I posted this question in the LabVIEW forum, but I guess that maybe the teststand discussion forum should be better, so I'm now posting here.

  I have a problem with my typedefine (Teststand UI Data.ctl) in the UI (derived from the interface chart single of Teststand). In the implementation, I was always able to add reminders in response to Teststand events in the past.

  Recently when I try to add a new reminder of a Teststand events, I get error saying that the master copy Typedef is not found or error. What I find odd are:

  1. If the Typedef master copy was not found or error comes, why would the error affect the reminders already implemented for other events Teststand?

  2. If the Typedef master copy was not found or error comes, why is it possible to run the program?

  Here I have 2 screenshots. The first screenshot shows the reminder of existing, where there is no error of the master copy of Typedef not found or error. The second screenshot shows the error when a new reminder is added to another event.

  The main copy of Typedef, call TestStand UI Data.ctl is also shown in 1 screen capture, and it is located in the TestExec.llb, as shown in the third screenshot.

  I'm not sure how to start debugging this problem, that is why I hope that experts from teststand out there can give me some advice.

  I am using 32-bit LabVIEW 2014 and 2014 Teststand 32 bits. Running on the Windows 7 system.

  The simplest solution to this problem is to open the broken VI. Right click on the broken control and replace with the control of the typedef.

  The reason why he broke up is because you changed the typedef and VI was not in memory to be updated. The EndEdit event callback is looking for a TestStandUI Data.ctl.   You can also try to look for the file function that generated the error. LabVIEW has a search utility to look for screws/features in your hierarchy.

  I checked the file ctm_config.txt in the directory campus and cmapps, removed the files ctmregistry and ctmregistry.backup from/opt/CSCOpx/MDC/tomcat/webapps/campus/WEB-INF/lib, deleted all files and directories below/opt/CSCOpx/MDC/tomcat/work/Standalone/localhost/and restart the services.
  No change...

  What I noticed by looking directly in the database of the CMF is that "CampusOgsGroupCacheTable" is completely empty where the following tables contain data:

  What could be the reason for this behavior?

  I still thought of the option to export all groups of CMF (or at least groups of campus) and delete all tables of OGS and re-import the groups but when I try to do it I get the following error:

  just to be sure, I download the 2 files ctm_config.txt...

  Instead of setting DYNAMIC_PORT_ALLOCATION = 0, replace perms on both ctm_config.txt 0444 files, use the original port and see if UT works.  If so, run in this configuration for some time see if corruption returns.  It should not since casuser won't be able to write to the file.

• WIN8 - gateway by default not found - tedious error

  Since a few weeks I get an error repeatedly (and frustrating).  2-3 minutes to a few hours and my wifi connection errors on.  I get an error limited connectivity (no Internet access) and most of the time - but not every time - running the utility of troubleshooting and to reset the card network solves the problem.

  System information:

  After you run the troubleshooter, it's the detailed info, I get:

  The connection between your access point, router, or cable: detected
  Your modem broadband has connectivity problems: does not work
  The default gateway is not available: fixed
  Reset map "Wi - Fi": completed

  I have two other computers (Mac and Win 7) as well as three tablets, in the House, and no other problems.  Also, I encountered exactly the same problem no matter what router I am on.  It could be my house or any number of coffee shops, library, House of friends, etc, I always get this error at a given time.

  My troubleshooting steps, so far:

  • Verify that the router has more recent firmware.
  • Uninstalled the NETWORK card wireless driver and reinstalled more recent Intel.
  • Turn off the features of the power management on the NETWORK adapter through the device and power settings manager, to make sure that the computer was not put the NIC to sleep.
  • Disabled firewall and antivirus to see if these programs 3 rd-party were interfering.
  • Achieved a cooling system - it seemed just something to do.
  • Wipe the PC made an installation clean and test from there (with no additional software or bloatware installed).

  And these steps (made one at a time), I keep getting this same exact error.

  My last step is using a USB wireless adapter and running through my wifi.  It is a temporary solution at best - if it is stable - that my speeds have fallen to 5 x slower than with the internal wireless card.  But that leads me to believe that it is the NETWORK card or a problem with Win 8 being responsible for managing the NETWORK/connection map.  The USB has its own software.

  Does anyone have any ideas or solutions?  I did some research autour and my problem is not unique, but I've not found a viable solution for the moment.  Declassification of Win 7, unfortunately, sounds like the best solution... but I refuse to pay for another OS, because there is something wrong with this one.

But the .gestJSON of the REST api call fails with the error ' could not load resources: the server responded with a 404 (Not Found) status.

  I have the JS do an alert to display the return value of the call to the procedure of app.

  I don't really quite know what could be the cause. It might have something to do
  w / compatibility between JSON and my version of the APEX (3.0.1.00.06)? Or...?

  While this isn't a problem of compatibility between JSON itself and APEX 3.0.1.00.6, he is a nuisance version. This API, the 01 x - x 10 globals series and 'addParam' were not introduced before 3.1. 3.1 has also introduced the useful JavaScript works $s and $v that you have can tried using (even if you did not show the last part of your JS code, I can't be sure).

  Is it possible for you to upgrade your instance because this certainly make your life easier with this stuff (and give you interactive reports :-))? If you are unable to upgrade, it is still possible, but you will just need to build (and exit) the JSON string yourself, use 'Add' instead of 'addParam', use an element of the application to store your temporary value and possibly having to write JS slightly different code to produce the response on the client (although I have not seen this part of your code).

  Please let me know if you need some help over here.

• Client Windows Update not found with error 0 x 80070490

  Since December 18, 2010 windows update fails on my DellLatitudeD630 under Vista ULTIMATE SP2.
  Tried many methods suggested on various web sites:
  Installation via the Vista DVD update: result: update greyed... no upgrade needed

  Services related to Windows Update, re-registers restarted .dll files services: no change

  Cleaned the permissions using the subinacl script posted on the web: no change

  Tried to install WindowsUpdateAgent30 - x 86 .exe, Setup stops with the Agent installation program Windows Update has encountered an unrecoverable error (but I was not able to understand what goes wrong).

  Anyway, I tried what I could and would be very happy if one of you could tell me a method that works.

  Unfortunately, the only options are really "upgrade on the spot or reinstallation of the operating system".

  Above the windows keep popping up.  System Restore does not. Tried 2 restore dates.  Has been at the origin of the problems open certain Web sites in IE and mozilla foxfire, so I downloaded search and destroy the program, that would fix only some of the problems he would have found.  After that, I could access the Web sites that previously not download, but to search for messages and destroy kept coming asking me if I wanted to apply so I removed the program. Then the messages above began to appear.

  There are a few things you can try.  First would be to boot into Safe Mode with network.  If you don't see any problems, then follow the steps in this article to resolve problems with a clean boot.
  Advanced problem resolution by clean restart.

  You must also get an antivirus and scan your system.
