Ultrabook battery

Hello

I have a HP Xpectre XT 13-2195CA. If I want to buy a spare battery, because I technician who can put it in (the other option is to send the United States, as I bought it from there, which is not really an option for me because I'm in England, and it will take a lot of time) where can I buy it from?

Please, it's kinda urgent.

Hi magn0l1a. I can't purchase options, you have to the United Kingdom. One idea, would be to see if HP PartSurfer will send you to your location. I don't know if it will be, but you can try to change your "country or region" at the top right.

I found the part number for the "4 cells, 45WHr 3.05AH Li - ion" 685989-001 in Maintenance and Service of Guide

I hope that it gets you what you need.

  • Does not power spectrum HP ENVY Ultrabook 13-2057nr of the battery (at the level of 93% charge)

    Greeting,

I have an unusual problem with my HP ENVY spectrum XT Ultrabook 13-2057nr.

I bought this recently used computer.  The battery seems to be dead, so I replaced it with a new battery, which seems to be charge (to 93%).

However, the computer will usually not market unless the AC adapter is plugged in.

As a general rule, the laptop will not be under voltage battery (charged to 93%).  It will work normally if connected to the power adapter.

From time to time, if the computer has been loading for 15 minutes or more, it will be under the battery voltage. However, if it is off, it will be only re-power-on if connected to the adapter.

If someone had a similar problem or have thoughts?

    Thanks - Ric

    Hello Rico88,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that the battery does not load to 100% and has a strange behavior. To start, please try test and calibrate the battery. You should be able to know if the battery has problems.

If the battery seems to be good, you can try to improve the performance of your battery.  For more information about improving the performance of the battery, please consult the following document: improve the performance of the battery (8 Windows 7, Vista).

If none of this helps, you can try purchasing a spare battery if the computer is not in the warranty. If this is the case, you should be able to get a replacement in the HP support by phone. • HP Envy Ultrabook with Windows 8.1 - battery not charging not even if hooked up

Just recently, my HP Ultrabook stopped the same battery if connected to the power source. Also when I remove the power connection, the laptop gets off immediately, it means that there is 0% charged battery.

On the battery it monitor shows "40% available (plugged in, does not support). " I tried several things like turn off computer, connect to another power outlet etc but no luck. Since it is Ultrabook with envy, I can't remove the battery.

    Help, please!

    Thanks in advance!

Did you run the test component UEFI PC diagnosis for the battery?

Start button / stop--> immediately tap the Esc key--> when the start menu is called, press F2 to select the UEFI PC Diagnostics and then select test component--> battery.

The battery can be removed and replaced if the diagnosis says that he didn't. Instructions to do this are in the sleekbook on page 43 Mintenence & Service Guide .

  • Satellite Z830 - battery problem

    Hello

Recently my SSD drive failed, I had a brand new spare so I replaced it. From the start it I had problems with my battery. The laptop works fine when it is plugged in, but if I remove the plug the portable ca goes out (like unplugging a desktop PC). The battery appears in Device Manager, the following figure:

    Microsoft AC adapter
Battery method control compatible ACPI Microsoft
    Microsoft Composite battery

When the power supply is connected, the battery indicates the charge and stuck a 9%, it is like that for days.

When you replace the SSD drive, I haven't touched another thing (well not that I know well), and made sure I have touch the SD slot (Earth static electricity). I don't know if that is the question.

The ultrabook is a little over a year old, and the battery was perfect before that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you very much
    Jeremy.

My opinion on this Satellite has a different design and construction so this Exchange should be performed by authorized personal only. On this virtual path, we cannot say much. Who knows what the problem is here.

In my opinion that it must be tested with another battery and just this way you can see if the battery is troublemaker, or anything else. I'm afraid you need professional help with this problem of Mr. contact nearest service Toshiba and let check battery and electronic power.

  • Re: The Portege Z930 battery life

    Hello everyone!

I have no problem with my new Toshiba (I hope I won't have any in the future), but I wanted to ask you guys for the advice on the maintenance of the batteries.

Some people recommend taking the battery when you use your pc attached to the power cable, but as poretege Z930 is a ultrabook, which is not possible. Can you tell me how to use my toshiba to preserve autonomy?
Can I use it when it is powered by a power cable, or should I mainly use it when the laptop only uses its battery power source?

Thank you very much for your advice!

What people are saying was interesting in the past. Today cell phones have much better batteries, and you should not remove them. Just use your laptop and don t think much about it.

If you use the laptop on battery power check power options and reduce energy consumption and increase s notebook, running time.

  • Satellite U920T - battery short time after 2 years of use of work

    Hi all

My 2 years old computer U920t laptop / Tablet satellite ultrabook has bad battery life. The battery will only last up to 2 hours before requiring charging on the basis of data entry doc/excel word normal.

Any ideas on how I can improve it?

The Toshiba pc health monitor function constantly informs me that I need to replace the battery because of normal wear and tear, but I thought that the battery is an 'internal' part means that it cannot be replaced?

If anyone can offer some advice that would be great!

    Hello

In my view, it is generally any kind of a rule or a standard on the battery life. On some machines battery hold capacity for an extended period of time by comparison with other models of laptops.
Is that over time the battery will discharge capacity and result will be reduction of working time.

You can try to increase the hours of work change some power options and turn off some unnecessary background processes.
Several new models of laptops have a newer design where battery can be removed so simply and it is placed under the lower lid but it can be replaced also. A day where you need again the closest contact Toshiba service provider and they can replace it for you.

  • Satellite Z830-10J battery discharge when the system is shut down

My new Toshiba Satellite Z830 10J ultrabook with Win7 64 bit. all updates, works fine and shows no anomaly, there is however a strange exception.

When the battery is completely charded and I 'pull the plug', the system runs on the battery for sometimes more than 5 hours, so I guess that the cycle of the battery is ok.

When the battery is now fully charged again and I SHUT down the system and not using it for a few days.
Then the battery is completely DISCHARGED to 0%, and the system does not start, until I plug.

This phenomenon occurs in less than a week. So: loading of the batrery 100%, turn the system off, pull the plug, want to re - use the system after 7 days, yields 0% battery charge.

Is there a specific reason for this?

    Greetings

    Roland Schweiger

    > It appears that one of the BIOS settings (disabling the sleep_and_charge or disable WOL) solved the problem

  • Portege Z830 - 10 H - battery is not detected

    I have a Portege Z830 - 10 h for a month and have battery issues lately:
    -It will detect no battery and only works on an external power supply;
s ' there is a battery, it's not load - a message says '3% available, load', it lasts for hours and finally available toll-free.

I found some ideas for removing the battery and BIOS by default in this forum, but it is a ultrabook and I have no access to the battery. I tried the reset of the BIOS by default, but nothing has changed.

Any ideas before I go to the VAS? Thanks in advance.

In my opinion there is nothing you can do about it. Contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help.
Why do experiments and wasting your time here. You paid your new laptop and it should work properly.

Request for replacement of the battery.
Do you know how to find the nearest service provider?

  • Portege Z10T-A140: Toshiba Health Monitor shows bad battery

    Hello

    near 1 week old I am a Z10T-A140 ultrabook.
Then I active Toshiba Health Monitor and can view HARD drive status.

But to see the battery, it's bad!
Why my battery see the poor?

    Thank you.

    Hello

It is not unusual for new batteries.
You know that batteries must be calibrated first to achieve the best performance.

Calibration means that the battery must be fully charged and discharged and then until it s completely empty. This procedure should be repeated several times in the line. After that, you can check the status of the battery provided by new health monitor

  • WTA on battery and AC connector

Product name: HP ENVY Sleekbook 4

    Running window 8 64 bit

Aboves is information about my ultrabook who bought in the last week.

    Here are my questions:

    1. If the battery is crushed, then I continue to load without plugging the AC cable, done it will overcharge my battery overcharged battery accordingly so the battery/life cycle will degrade?

2 since it's built in battery which consider as non-removable, if the Board is connected to the computer, should I only use alternating current without the use of my battery?

    3. I heard a developer who told me that each ultrabook is built in battery use or known as a seal, he also said that laptop has a built in battery is good to keep load even if the battery is 100% because the computer will be automatically discharged once the battery is trodden and without harming the battery/life cycle. Is this true?

You can set the range in which the battery may charge inside the properties of power advanced via the control panel. I recently worked on a Samsung Ultrabook which has been set in the BIOS and Windows Power properties don't no the battery beyond 80 percent. This prevented a discharge/charge to register as a cycle and will prolong the life of the battery at the expense of a bit less runtime. You can also set the battery so it does not start a refill, IE less than drops of battery below 90%, that accomplishes the same thing. I would say that it is especially important on a unit with a sealed battery. You want the battery to last as long as possible. Yes when the AC is plugged in the power to run the laptop comes from 'sector' and not the battery, but some of the "power" is diverted to charge the battery if the load is low enough.  You don't need to worry about the memory effect. In other words, you can recharge anytime (as you say, 74%) and there will be no negative impact on the battery.  This was also true for at least 15 years being portable batteries or-Cad. At that time that he had to leave the race before battery start to load, or you would never go lower that you started to reload... called effect memory. Now a thing of the past, even if you still hear a lot of people say run a battery of laptop to say 10% when get you it and then reload... absolutely useless.
