There are few reasons for this. Please try the steps below.

#) Features in host ESX adds the host file on the machine where you have access to this.

OR

#) Add the DNS entries respective of the ESX host on the DNS server.

I managed to find the problem though. The issue is not with the drive being written - it's the current backup disc that is the problem. If you want to save your primary drive (C:, for example), try to perform a check of the errors on this drive (right click on your drive home, you are trying to save, choose 'Properties' then go to 'tools' - click 'Check now' under the control of errors - and check both boxes). Since this is the current drive, you must stop and restart - the system then automatically checks the system files and windows files on the next boot.

After doing this, my problem cleared up. Apparently, the backup software was crashing trying to read a corrupted file or a sector of the hard disk, that he was backing.

  • Empty Connections window network and could not start the network connections service

Problems with Verizon router and during diagnosis discovered that the network connections window is empty (found by clicking on change settings for the network and sharing Center map).  We are currently connected to the Internet with the new router and Ethernet cable, but the cannot connect wireless (what we could do before) - apparently not to display icons in N.C. window is not necessary to have connections.  Found a reference to the network connections service and check it is running as a solution to the window being blank.  The service is not running, and when I try to launch it I get "Error 1083: the executable program that this service is configured to run in does not implement this service."

I've seen a lot of suggestions on fixes for the problem of the empty window.  I did the sfc /scannnow and found no problem.  I tried to update the network adapter driver, but it was very good.  None of the solutions seemed appropriate perfectly adapted to this situation.  Is this really a problem?  Any suggestions on what to do about it?  We are about to use an USB adapter until our connection speed and I want to make sure that everything works first.  Thanks for any help.

  • Unable to connect to the server... error code 0 x 80070043

    Hey you all.

We have a server on the network that contains the software and the data we use in a client/server parameter. To install the client side, we do the following from the workstation:

START / RUN / \\10.20.0.77 which opens a window on the software on this server. Run us Setup.exe and everything is good on the client computer after installation is completed successfully.

I have not had any problems to access to the / mapping for this server to Windows XP and Windows Vista Business 32 b, but on a Windows Vista Business 64-b system, I am no longer able to connect to the server via the net use or net shareor the map network drive feature. The following error occurs:

"10.20.0.77" is not set up to establish a connection on port "File and printer sharing (SMB)" with this computer.

It is possible to access this server by using a web browser, but the software install that way. The error code associated with the start was 0 x 80070043.

I say "originally" because after researching on the net, a single thread suggested changing the NetBIOS default value " Enabled" for this network card Protocol. After you make this change, the error code as amended in 0 x 80070035, but the description remained the same as those listed above.

Another thread said the server was to port 139 for mapping research, but Vista has been maps on port 445. Since I can't access 10.20.0.77 server to carry out changes, its installation rinetd solution and implement a file etc/rinetd.cfg to it remapped 445 to 139 is not possible, especially since our network is ENORMOUS and it could affect workstations running without any problem.

Anyone here heard, or familiar with this type of problem for helping to find a solution?

    Thank you muchly. :)

A teacher affects eternity: he can never tell where its influnce judgments.

    Hello Aj. Cole,.

I have a couple of thoughts for you, but since you're talking about server and workstation, I guess that you are in a domain environment. If so, then your problem of not being able to connect to a server would be better served in a forum that would be dealing with server and domain issues.

However, the error message, 0 x 80070043 - the network name cannot be found

Ensure that you have sufficient access to SMB file transfers (this requires ports NetBIOS open because SMBS use the NetBIOS protocol to transfer data).

You can also check to see if the Vista workstation has a gigabit card. If so, look for the following local strategy.

Enable the policy local to always wait for the network at the start of the computer and logon . To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Start the Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc).
    2. Expand Local Computer Policy\Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\logon.
    3. In the results pane, click always wait for the network when starting the computer and logon and then click Properties.
    4. On the setting tab, click active, and then click OK.
    5. Restart the workstation.

You don't specify what your domain environment, so I don't know which forum send you as Windows 2003 SBS etc. Use the following link to find a good forum for you.

  • Unable to connect to the sites - msjava.dll error

I finally got a new PC with Windows XP (Windows 2000 before a). I installed contribute CS3 and it works fine when I connect to two of my sites that are internal to my organization (hosted by us). The other two sites are hosted by an ISP outside of our Organization, and I am unable to connect to those. Other users can connect to external sites with Contribute, so I know that's not a problem with the access provider. When I try to connect, I get the standard Windows error box which States "Contribute has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. "and when I click to see what is in the error report, the ModName is msjava.dll. I did a search for msjava.dll on my system, and it does not exist in my windows folder.

If anyone else has experienced this? Any advice on how to find/fix this problem?

    Thank you
    Kathy

I solved this problem. I went on the site of Sun Java and downloaded the latest version. Once has been installed, Contribute worked very well.

    Hello Hildegard Lydia,

You may experience this problem for a number of reasons. Some common problems that can cause these problems are: drivers damaged or incompatible, updates missing, network connection settings, hardware problems or software or TCP/IP can sometimes be damaged or corrupted.

What is the brand and model of your computer?

Please follow the steps mentioned below:

Method 1: a component of the Internet connection on your computer is a package of instructions called TCP/IP. TCP/IP can sometimes become damaged or altered. If you can't connect to the Internet and you have tried all other methods to solve the problem, TCP/IP can be causing it.
I suggest you try to reset the TCP/IP stack.
