Unable to connect to the network and network adapter is not detected

Hello, this is the first time I use a laptop ( HP Pavilion 2332se g6 ) and I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I cannot connect to the network (wired or wireless) and cannot connect to Wi - Fi.

My problem is perhaps the same problem in this post in your forum, so I provide the same information. If it's not the same problem, ask the details you need.

Hello:

First install the chipset driver and reboot (will install the SM Bus controller).

Second: Install the AMD graphics driver and restart.

For switchable graphics in your notebook, you install only the driver AMD, which installs the drivers for the AMD and Intel for the graphical configuration has your laptop. NEVER install the Intel driver only or allow updates to the Intel graphics driver to install.

    I use VMware vCenter Converter Standalone client, v5.0.0 build-470252, running on a 64-bit Windows 7 computer, try to import a Windows 2008 computer virtual (hosted by VMWare infrastructure) on my local machine.

    At the start of the converter, I have "connecting to a local server.

    Specification of the source system is OK, even if I don't know the certificate error.  The conversion wizard installs his agent and it connects OK.

    To the Destination System, I said:

    Type of destination: VMware Workstation or other virtual machines to VMware
    Product VMware: VMware Workstation 8.0.x
    Information on the virtual machine:
    Name: same as the source system, such as detected by the converter
    Location for the virtual machine: \\localmachine\sharedfoldername
    Username and password: my Windows 7 credentials, with full control over \\localmachine\sharedfoldername, the action and the underlying folder.

    Can anyone help please?

    You must be able to access the \\localmachine\sharedname of the * SOURCE * machine. The job of conversions P2V of Windows is to install an agent on the source, then the agent connects to the target (this is why it must be on a network share) and transfers the data. You can browse \\localmachine\sharedname of the source (but not where the converter is installed)?

  • The network adapter could not establish the connection using the external ip address

    Hi team,

    Please look in the attached files.

    I installed db 11g on my desktop machine (Windows 7, with a local network) and then I created a data source connection in tomcat which was also in the same system and then I deployed my sample web application, everything works fine, I am able to access web applications.

    But once that I kept my system with external IP address (excluding local network of my company), oracle gives these following errors when tomcat start

    Here is the following URL will display the error during the startup of tomcat.

    The network adapter could not establish the connection,

    In these two files, listener and tnsnames ora ora, need to change the configurations if I change the Ip address of the system?

    even I tried my address keeping external Ip instead if host in these two configuration files, yet this does not work.

    any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you.

    Because as I explained - your listener is listening on localhost only. localhost is never accessible to another machine.

    Stop your listener, change the listener.ora to listen to on the real machine name and start the receiver.

    In addition, your tnsnames.ora points to localhost...

    Stop using localhost, unless you only want things to work on the same machine.

    (1) what is the user id you are using OEM fior?

    The user id should have Sysdba and should not be in the role SYSASM.

    (2) in order to check your port

    In server, in the gate of the House, listener, lsnrctl status--> Verify asm instance listed on your listening port.

    Summary of endpoints listening...

    (Check that the PORT and IP information is correct)

    Instance '+ ASM1' READY State, has 1 operation for this service...

    (3) in addition, connect to asm and check the connection

    Show u local_listener and entered into OEM parameter details are correct.

    (4) OEM, I think you add Cluster_ASM.

    Oracle_home_path--> you're grid House

    username--> with sysdbarole

    --> Sysdba role

    Cluster_name--> $GRID_HOME/bin/cemutlo - n

    Service name--> + ASM

    ADD

    NAME: INSTANCENAME

    -Home: HOST1

    listener_HOST-->< show="" parameter="" local_listener=""> exit

    PORT-->

    SID- + ASM1

  • I/o error: the network adapter could not establish the connection: connection to oracle database

    Hello

    I am not able to connect to the Oracle SQL developer database. I said / 0 error: the network adapter could not establish the connection.

    I started the listener, but what I see is, it points to a different IP address instead of the IP address of the host. How to change the name of host or IP address.

    I see that it points to the host name in listener.ora.

    Attached the screenshot

    Can someone help me solve this problem?

    Thanks in advance

    What he says is the listener.ora file is not necessary to start the listener.  If you rename, then start the receiver, then start the db, after a minute or two, the db should automatically register with the listener and then you can make a tnsping or otherwise connect to the database through the listener.

    I'm not entirely sure what's going on with your image, but I can't help but wonder if somehow something is not what you expect with the investigation period, whenever it starts.

    So use lsnrctl status lsnrctl services to see what the listener is the situation and tnsping and ping from the client to see what he thinks.

    This problem is probably with java networks interacting with a new parameter to the default kernel in Debian. Among the bugs identified on this is here - [http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=560056]
    Two things to try, from various bug reports, are
    (1) "echo 0 >/proc/sys/net/ipv6/bindv6only ' and make this change permanent if it works
    (2) edit {sqldeveloper home}/sqldeveloper/bin/sqldeveloper.conf and add the line}
    "AddVMOption - Djava .net .preferIPv4Stack = true '.

    Hello X-x_MaGiC_x-X,

    Thank you for visiting the website of Microsoft Windows Vista Community.

    Try the rest of the stage in this article:

    System restore points are created automatically when the following occur:

    • When you install a new application or driver.
    • When you uninstall or install some programs.
    • When you install new updates
    • Automatically on a daily interval
    • Manually by creating a.
    • If you choose to use system restore to restore to a previous restore point, System Restore creates a new restore point before you restore a previous state in case something goes wrong. If you are restoring to a previous state in Mode without failure, a restore point will create for the current state.

    So that the restoration of the system to work, you must have 300 MB of free space for each hard disk that monitors the system restore. System Restore will also use up to 15% of disk space on each disk that it monitors. That hard disk space runs out, older restore points will be deleted as newer ones. It is also important to note that you must be logged in as an administrator in order to use the system restore. Now that you understand the basics of the system restore, you must continue to the next section to learn how to use it.

    Restore Windows Vista to a previous state

    In the case of a problem on your computer that cannot be solved by normal means, you can restore your computer to a previous working state. To do this, you need to start restoring the system so that you can choose the restore point to restore. If you currently have Windows Vista boot problems, you can use the system restore in Windows recovery environment. Instructions on how to do it in this tutorial can be found: System Restore using the Windows Vista recovery environment.

    If you can connect to Windows Vista, you must follow these steps.

    1. Close and save any documents that you have opened.
    2. Click the Start button to open your Start Menu. The Start button looks like this:
    3. When the Start Menu open click on the menu option all programs.
    4. Click once on the Start Menu Accessories group.
    5. Click once on the System Tools Start Menu group.
    6. Click once on the icon of the system restore. After you click the icon, if a user account control window opens, click on the button continue.

    You will now be on the screen as shown below in Figure 1 system restore. From this screen, you can specify the restore point that you want to restore.

    1 screen of system restore

    By default, Vista will be already selected the restore recommended option. This restore point is one followed a new pilot program, or update has been installed. If you do not want to use this restore point, you can click on the button next to start the restore process. On the other hand, if there is a more recent restore point that you want to restore you should select choose a different restore point and press the next button. This will bring you to a screen, as shown in Figure 2, which contains a list of all available restore points that you can restore.

    2. the list of available restore points

    You must select the restore point that you want to restore, and then press the button next to start the restore process. Vista will display a window showing your selected restore point and asking you to confirm that it is that you want to restore.

    3. confirm the selected restore point

    If you want to select a different restore point, press the Back button. Otherwise, you can press the Cancel button to exit the system restore or the button finish to begin the restore process. If you have selected finish, Vista will display a second prompt asking you to confirm that you want to continue restoring.

    4. second Confirmation

    If you are sure you want to restore, then press the Yes button. Vista will now log you off the computer and start the system restore process, as shown in Figure 5 below.

    5. restoration of a restore point

    When the restore is complete, your computer will be restarted and when Vista starts it backup will be restored to its previous state. When you open a Vista session for the first time after the restore, you will see a message indicating that the restore was successful.

    6. system restore was successful

    If there are problems with your computer because the last restoration, you can return to your previous settings to ebb in the system restore utility and select Undo system restore by pressing the next button.

    7 undo the last system restore

    Your computer should now work correctly again.

    With the help of the restoration of the system in the Windows recovery environment

    Manual creation of Restore Points

    As mentioned previously, it is also possible to create manual restore depending on points. Some popular designs to create manual restore points are when you have your computer configured perfectly and I would save the State in case of problems in the future. To create a manual restore point, you must follow these steps:

    1. Click the Start button to open your Start Menu. The Start button looks like this:
    2. Click on the control panel menu option.
    3. Click the option menu system and Maintenance.
    4. Click on the system menu option.
    5. Click on the System Protection in the list on the left.

    You will now be at the System Protection tab in the system control panel. This tab allows you to enable and disable the system restore as well as making the new manual restore points.

    8. the System Protection tab

    To create a manual restore point, you must click on the button create. When you press this button a prompt asking you to give a title to this manual restore point.

    9. Enter the manual restore point title

    Type a title for the manual restore point and press the button create. Vista will now create a restore point manually and once finished, post a notice that it was created successfully.

    10. Manual restore point has been created

    Now that you have finished doing the manual restore point, you can close the system window.

    Try to download the correct and up-to-date drivers.

    This should solve your problem.

    Let us know if these steps solve your problem.  I hope the information is useful.

  • XT720: Unable to connect to the network for upgrades

    Hello

    I recently had a new Motorola Milestone XT720. I tried to get the software updates using the "connection to phone" functionality system updates. If I connect my phone via the network or via WiFI, I get this message "the device is unable to connect to the server, please try again later"

    How can this problem be solved?

    How to get the system through files zip for Android updates?

    Kindly let me know.

    It is not uncommon to get this message when checking for OTA updates - update servers seem to be pretty random that they are actually on and accessible, or not.

    Your best bet for checking updates is to use the Motorola (MSU) software update. Search on a site of Motorola to find. It is a windows program that will check updates for your phone. More updates appear here before OTA (if they are already on OTA)

  • Unable to connect to the network because the parameters of the computer do not match the requirements of the network.

    The main computer in my house is connected to the web via a modem to our ISP (Cox).  We use a Cisco's Linksys wireless router.  We have configured a new laptop to connect through the router yesterday.  Now my laptop, which had been the connection very well, can't access the network.  When I go in the "network and sharing Center" and pull up nearby wireless networks, our network shows is even more bars, just a red X.  Reads the error message "unable to connect to this network because the settings of that computer to match the parameters required network.»

    I don't know what has changed on our network, but I was unable to understand what these "required parameters" are, so I was unable to change the settings of my laptop to match the requirements.  Pls help.

    Hi Sharpdale,

    Step 1

    I first suggest you to perform network troubleshooting in Windows 7 and check if it finds problems, and if he is able to fix it.

    Step 2

    Use Windows to configure wireless settings and check if it helps to solve the problem.

    a. click on Start menu and select run

    b. type ncpa.cpl, and then click OK to open the menu of the network connections.

    c. Select your Wi - Fi connection service and choose the option change settings of this connection.

    d. go to the wireless tab and select (tick) labeled use Windows to configure my wireless network

    I hope this helps. Let us know the results.

    Thank you and best regards,
