  • Unable to download file ApEx 4.2 (model Mobile)

    Hi all

I'm trying to upload an image file to a blob column in my table looks on apex.oracle.com (version 4.2), using the Explorer leader element.

When I use a normal template, it works. When I use the model of mobile, my file is not downloaded.

Is this a known bug? Or I do something wrong?

    Thanks for your help!

Nevermind, I was able to reproduce the problem.

I think the fundamental problem is that AJAX submit do not support downloading a file. As a solution, add the following in the attribute "Run when the Page loads" (JavaScript region) of the page with an element of type page "send file".

    $("#wwvFlowForm", apex.gPageContext$).attr("data-ajax", false);

This will indicate to jQuery Mobile do not use AJAX to submit the data and instead perform a regular postage.
Note: This will disable the Visual page transition effect.

I will file a bug on this issue in the first game of patch. Please let us know!

Even the files read in the native multimedia player on the Simulator fine. One is a .mp4, the other is a .3gp.

    I use content types "video/mp4" and "video/3gpp".

I have the SourceStream returns-1 for the two getTransferSize() and getContentLength() to indicate the size is unknown. My hypothesis is that it should always work. They must be non-negative and non-zero in order to work properly?

I use the 4.6.0.190 simulator. We observed the same behavior on the device (4.6.0.266).

Thanks for the comments. It turned out to be the function seek() requiring a good implementation. The getContentLength() on the return of-1, but for the office seek() I ended up closing the input stream, works by opening and then calling Another to get to the desired position.

  • Outlook 2007 backup file is greater than the source file. Why?

My Outlook pst data source personal folders file using 2.4 GB.  The backup file (by using the backup tool) uses 5.4 GB.  Why the difference?  I back up all my data on a hard drive to FAT 32 format, which will not accept a file greater than 4 GB, so I'm not able to save Outlook backup file given its current size.

  • Windows Embedded Compact 7 on the smartbook Sylvania - IE cannot download files

I have a Sylvania 7 '' Wireless Smartbook WEC7 (http://www.sylvaniacomputers.com/product.php?id_product=45) with the latest firmware, running on Windows Embedded Compact 7.  It is produced by a Chinese company that manufactures several similar models, both with Windows Embedded and Android.

Internet Explore cannot download files.  It is said "website not found" when I try to download an attachment to email (Gmail, Aol, MS exchange web, etc.), or click on a link that should cause a file download start.

I think it's at the level of the BONE, because I also installed Opera Mini 5.1 Windows mobile, which works well on the machine, and also, it can not download attachments or files.

I also have the earlier version of the Sylvania Smartbook running Windows CE 6 (http://www.sylvaniacomputers.com/product.php?id_product=41).    IE and Opera Mini 5.1 work as expected, and download files.

Anyone has an idea why Windows Embedded Compact 7 on the Sylvania is unable to download files?

  • How to restore the ability to download files and documents?

End of last week I noticed that I had accumulated a large number of cookies. I decided to clear the cookies and history by selecting «Clear history of Firefox closing» I deleted cookies and closed Firefox. Firefox has started closing but stop responding before the end of the fence. I forced Firefox to close (Mac OS X 10.6.8) then restarted Firefox which has always failed. I unchecked 'Clear history of Firefox closing' and Firefox resumed normal operation except that I am now unable to download files and documents from any web site. I tried another browser (Safari 5.1.5) and downloads are normal.

    Any help much appreciated.

  • Can not download files with adopted storage

Anyone else using adopted storage in Marshmallow unable to download files? My SD card works fine, I can move applications to the SD card and application data cache which lives on the SD card also works very well. All my applications are functioning normally, if clearly no problem writing to the SD card.

However, if I try to download a file - for example to download a file from the application Google Drive, or save an attachment in Gmail - all that would be found in the "Downloads" folder - it just fails. I get an error "unable to write to the storage."

It cannot be a storage permissions problem, because it happens in any application that attempts to download the folder "Downloads" - and all of the apps I've tried already have granted permission of 'Storage'.

    Any ideas? Thank you!

Don't worry, it's fixed. A simple reboot fixed it. Although worrying, had been removed a couple of days, I got a notification that says my SD card - even if everything seems to work properly. A restart which sets also.

I just hope this isn't a sign that I'm developing a problem either with the SD slot on my phone or SD itself card. That's the problem with the aid of stoarge adopted - if the SD card fails, the entire phone actually fails!

Fingers crossed everything is OK now if...

  • Undelete to recover a file LARGER than 4 GB

I accidentally delete a folder with many files of size greater than 4 GB.  I've tried so far the following application:

    (1) recuva
    (2) GetDataBack for NTFS v4.0
    (3) file Scavenger 3.2

and none of them can see files greater than 4 GB.  I have a bit of luck trying to recover these files?
Is there some custom settings I have applied?
Or is this a limitation of Vista?
