  • LabVIEW FPGA: Deploy fpga with host program

    Hello people,

I develop using a pxi-7831R (FPGA), 7.1 LabVIEW and Labview FPGA 1.1.0.  I wrote the fpga code and a host vi and they work well on my development computer.  However, I need to create an executable file and take it to my development computer to another computer (which also contains a pxi-7831R), and I don't know how to do it.

Then I just build an executable from my host program and place the 'bit' fpga file in the same folder as the exe and copy it to the target computer, or what I need to somehow add the bit file to my build configuration?

    Thanks for any help!

    Chris

    Hi chassan,.

In LabVIEW 8.x, the exe will offer the bitfile automatically.  I imagine it works similarly in LabVIEW 7, but it's probably best that manually regroup you the bitfile in your build options.

    Hello

    Resolution

    Cause

This problem can occur if an ESX host's IP address is changed while being managed by vCenter Server.

    Check the cause

To check the cause of the problem:

    1. Log in as root to the ESX host using a SSH client.
    1. In the file etc/opt/vmware/vpxa/vpxa.cfg, find the IP address of the host. The entry looks like:

      10.21.48.121

Note: for more information about editing the files, see installation in VMware ESX configuration files (1017022).

    Troubleshooting

If the IP address is incorrect, perform the following steps in order. If the operation does not resolve the problem, continue to the next step. Don't skip a step.

    1. Disconnect and then reconnect the host:
    1. Right click on the ESX host in vCenter Server and click Disconnect.
    1. Reconnect the ESX host in vCenter Server.
    1. Restart the VirtualCenter agent on the ESX host:
    1. Stop the service of vpxa with the command:

      # service vmware-vpxa stop

    1. Open the /etc/opt/vmware/vpxa/vpxa.cfg file in a text editor and correct the IP address of the ESX host.
    1. Start the service of vpxa with the command:

      # service vmware-vpxa start

Note: for VMware ESXi, you may have to restart all the management agents. For more information, see restart the agents on an ESX or ESXi Server (1003490) management .

    1. Rebuild the VirtualCenter agent on the ESX host configuration file:

Attention: this step removes all the Statistics counters historical host and the virtual machine. If VMware ESX host is running in virtual machines that starts in a permitted CVS environment, you maybe won't be able to add the host without stopping the virtual machines first.

    1. Right click on the ESX host in vCenter Server and click Disconnect.
    1. Remove the ESX host disconnected from vCenter Server.
    1. Backup the file vpxa.cfg with the command:

      # mv /etc/opt/vmware/vpxa/vpxa.cfg /etc/opt/vmware/vpxa/vpxa.oldcfg

    1. Add the ESX host disconnected to the server vCenter inventory.
    1. Run the following command to view the contents of /etc/opt/vmware/vpxa/vpxa.cfg and confirm that the host IP address is correct:

      # cat /etc/opt/vmware/vpxa/vpxa.cfg

    The problem has been resolved.

    The fix:

    =====

    # vimsh-e - n/hostsvc/hostsummary | grep inMaintenanceMode

    Using the libcrypto, version 90809F

    inMaintenanceMode = false,

    # vim-cmd/hostsvc/hostsummary | grep inMaintenanceMode

Rationality for the problem is these commands (vim - FCM or vimsh) were unable to communicate due to lack of xinetd process.

I install my host ESX server in vmware workstation.  It works fine except when I am creating virtual machines.

I'm not able to install the operating system on the virtual machine and I get this error that appears inside the virtual machine.

Unable to connect to the host server: a connection attempt failed because the connected party did not respond after a certain time, or established connection failed because connected host has no

My ESX server hosts have static IP addresses.

I've seen a few similar posts on this issue, but their solutions have not worked for me.

    Best regards

I think we confuse you.  ESX server is running like a machine virtual within the workstation, correct?  If Yes, then you must edit the vmx esx server with these entries monitor configuration file *.  They can go anywhere in the file.  Once those have been added, you should be able to run 32-bit virtual machines within the esx server.

When you click on the console of a virtual machine, the server that hosts the vm responds back with its host name for your client to connect to.  Thus, the MKS console could not be connected to, and you could not see the virtual machine console, until you updated name resolution.  Given that the ESX host is back with a name, the customer could not resolve the name, if your client could not connect to the virtual computer mouse, keyboard, screen.  Hope that makes more sense.

  • attack targets different rt by changing IP in the host program

    Hello

I have two targets of RT running on desktop computers. Programmatically, I would like to change the IP address target in a single host program, so that I can control one or the other targets. I thought the 'Library Library.Deploy' Invoke node has an entry for the target IP address, but my libraries are already on the objectives, then maybe this isn't the right way to go.

I look forward to a response...

    Tim.

    Hi Tim,.

I tested this on my side DataSocket method and it seems to be work correcly. I'm sure we can work together to determine what is happening here. If a space is in the name of the variable, just type a space in the URL DataSocket should work. Looking at the view "------codes display", you can see the \s which is added to the URL.

The URL (to be more precise) format must be psp://ComputerName/LibraryName/VariableName.

Have you checked that your variables on your remote systems are deployed? Distributed System Manager is an excellent tool for watching this.

  • Program files (x 86) and Program files.

I would like to know what is the difference between Program files (x 86) and program files folders, they are both necessary for the functioning of the system and do they have anything to do with the operation of 32 and 64-bit Vista?

These files both contain some but not all of the same files, why is it so?.

Program files (x 86) provides you with the location for 32-bit software, and the Program folder files is that of your 64-bit software. Because Windows Vista can run 32-bit applications using the wow64 emulator, it's a good design decision to separate the location of programs with different architecture types.

  • My Cookie file was corrupted in data and my programs continually pop up with the 'corrupt file' error when a program opens, pointing to \Users\name\Appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies.

My Cookie file was corrupted in data and my programs continually pop up with the 'corrupt file' error when a program opens, pointing to \Users\name\Appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies.

The problem is, Chkdsk will not fix this, and I can't access the file. This opens up a world of problems when I need to fix this error, so I can upgrade to Windows 7. Help, please!

I just ran the scan again. He said of the errors found, but could not be repaired.

This problem actually has nothing to do with internet explorer. It's the cookies folder that is corrupt in the Windows folder in roaming. The error file is in conjunction with the programs, that I try to run (AIM, Skype, so forth). Trying to enter the folder it says it's corrupt. I don't know what is the root of the problems or how to solve this problem, but these measures have not helped so far. Regarding the repair, I will try that next.

Here is a picture. This is the error of the lower right

It's what the tool SFC to see system files corrupted and try to repair the system files.
    SFC could not fix it.

Looks like you will need to do this:

Read the info on the link above.

    Good luck with it.

  • Error code: 800ccc0e and the message "Unable to connect to the host server", when you set up Windows Mail to receive discussion group messages.

I recently signed up for Windows Mail, Windows Vista Help. I have configured my Gmail OK account, but when I click TOOLS then Newsgroups I get the following error: unable to connect to the host server. When I click on show details, he said: Microsoft Community Server: msnews.microsoft.com Protocol: NNTP Port: 119 secure (SSL): 0 Code: 800ccc0e

msnews. Microsoft.com has not existed for about three years now. MS close their news servers. You can still access newsgroups, but you will have to do with one another as eternal September or AIOE news server.

  • Why can't I delete a file corrupted in my program files?

I could not update my iTunes application in Vista 32 bit.  I tried the uninstall/reinstall, now it won't install because I have a file corrupted in my program files.  When I try to delete the file, I said that I don't have permission to delete, but I am the administrator of my machine.  WTF?  C:\Program Files\Fichiers Apple Mobile Device Support\SyncServices\Schemas\Notes.syncschema\Contents\Resources\Spanish.lproj\Localizable.strings
"Make sure you have access to this directory?  someone please help
-I now have ownership of the files, according to the guests. However, I now get error 0 x 80070091: the directory is not empty and forced either retry or cancel.  Thanks for the links.  Unfortunately, I still can't convince my machine to remove old files 8-(.)

I FOUND the solution, thanks to Suzukibiker, Chaddington Boomhauer on SecondLife and Pyrografix on Microsoft TechNet.  Long story short, I activated the REAL administrator of my machine through http://www.autoshutdown.org/how-to-enable-administrator-in-vista.html and was able to take in hand the folder and files.  I then renamed the something VERY vulgar folder, only the iTunes Installer ignored later, allowing me to finally completely reinstall iTunes.

Thank you once again for the excellent advice.

  • Unable to start Windows or run programs

    original title: Virus?

OK, here's the deal. Everything worked fine but now its all bad parties. I was using my computer, Windows Vista, when AVG (antivirus) picked up a malware file. I put in the vault, then deleted. I don't remember what was the name of the file. Then after that when I click on any program the box appears asking what program to use to run the program? So, when I click on internet explore the box appears asking what program to run with? I rebooted and am now in safe mode. I went to do a system restore but it says this "there was an unexpected error, the setting is incorrect (0 x 80070057)" so I looked up the error online. The fix told to run SystemPropertiesProtection.exe but when I get on my computer, he said he hasn't! Can you get it someone please let me know what the devil is going on? I ran AVG in safe mode, and it found no virus. Thank you

Update: I just discovered that the tool (SFC.exe) System File Checker is absent as well.

    Hello

    · What is the number and the model of the computer?

    Try the following steps:

    Step 1:

Run the fix it from the link below and check if this can help:

When you run an .exe on a Windows Vista-based or Windows 7 computer file, the file may start another program: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950505

    Step 2:

Now run the analysis of verification of the file system on the computer, for the steps see link below: how to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

  • Whenever I click on any of the application file, it asks which program to open it, and then try to download?

I was at work, when my antivirus went nuts malware. I clicked to quarantine and delete what he did. All of a sudden whenever I click on ANY application, it asks the .exe file. When located, he tries to download it. I can't load anything, including work files, or the system restore. Exactly the same problem exists in safe mode too, and it won't charge the safe mode system restore. A full system cleaning is not possible, because this computer contains files of very important work. I can't use internet there longer. I can burn things on cd on my PC, but I can't do anything wise internet on that one.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi BethaG,

    Try the following steps:

    Step 1:

Try running the following Microsoft Fixit and see if it helps:

When you run an .exe on a Windows Vista-based or Windows 7 computer file, the file may start another program

Note: You can download and save the Fixit on another computer as well and copy it to the computer problem and then try to run it.

    Step 2:

Try to create a new user account and check if the problem persists.
