Unable to format my laptop, I get the message he had to install Windows 7
I need to format my laptop but when I tried to format it tells me I have to reinstall windows 7 with a disk, but windows 7 is already installed when I got the laptop. Is there a way I can format without deleting windows 7
New computers that come pre-installed with Windows often have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.
This is how the recovery partition is accessible to most popular brands...
For Dell, press CTRL + F11 directly after switching on the device
For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device
For LG, press F11 directly after switching on the device
For Toshiba, press and hold "0" BEFORE and during the power upward
For Acer, press and hold ALT + F10, as soon as you see the logo
For Asus, press F9, as soon as you see the Asus logo.
For Samsung, press F4 to the power upward...
For Fujitsu, press the F8 key directly after the power
Advent, restart your computer. Then, press F10 repeatedly until the message "Starting system recovery"
Sony VAIO, reboot and press "F8" or "F10" repeatedly until the screen "Advanced Boot Options".

Hello
Need help with my Mail window. I can't export my message to the PST format. I keep getting the message error "an error occurred during initialization of MAPI". Y at - it solution or another method?
Hi ErikLee,
Do you have MS Outlook installed on your computer?
Windows mail import and export opportunities are limited to an Outlook .pst file or an Exchange Server mailbox. They are available only if MS Outlook is installed.
If MS Outlook is not installed and you start an import or export action, the necessary support files are not present for Windows mail complete the operation. Then I suggest you to install Outlook temporarily and see if the problem is resolved.Follow the instructions below and check if the problem is resolved.
1. reboot your computer, and then start Windows Mail.
2. on the Tools menu, click Options.
3. in the connection tab, click on edit to open the Internet Properties dialog box.
4. in the tab programs, click on an application other than Windows mail e-mail in the e-mail list. Click on apply and then click OK.
5. click OK again to close the Options dialog box.
6. exit Windows mail and restart Windows mail.If this does not work, I suggest you upgrade to Windows Live Mail to import or export messages that may help you resolve the issue.
To download Windows Live Mail, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
http://get.live.com/wlmail/overviewFor more information about Windows Live Mail, see the Microsoft Web site at the following address:
http://windowshelp.Microsoft.com/Windows/en-us/help/4b30d3d6-abe2-46d1-a5fd-4a1ba786a1381033.mspxCheck whether the problem is resolved.
Please post back and let us know if it helped to solve your problem.

See the other answer (s) you got but also note the following: the first thing to do is to ensure that there is no CD or DVD in the drive. If it and try to boot from it, you would probably get such a message. If there is not, there is a good chance that the hard drive is dead and must be replaced. -
Get the error code 641, cannot install Windows updates.
Reluctant to do a reinstall of windows. I had the same problem, find the same useless information on a cure. I did a reinstall of windows (Vista) and partially by installing the updates of windows I ran into the same problem again, the windows installer does not. Even from scratch will get not anywhere, leaving you at least your system as it stands leaves can be used instead of a partially updated with no program system.
I wonder if Apple has this kind of problem?Hello
I suggest to reset the Windows Update components and check if it helps.
Important This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. Hi Robertosino,
You receive messages or error codes?
This can happen if the proposed updates are not installed and offered again to install. I suggest you try the following steps:
Step 1: Check Windows Update for all history waiting for update
a. Click Start, type Windows Update in the start search box and press on enter.
b. click View history of update on the left pane.
c. check updates to update or not updated pending.
d. from the most recent dates, find an update for Windows that has failed to install, and then double-click. the update to view more information.
e. updates that have failed to install will display failed under the status column.
Write a note to the update (KB) Knowledge Base number and the error message.
For more information, you can consult the following article:

I get the message "a change to your Windows license." How can I solve this message?
I get an error of Activation on a laptop I bought 2.5 years ago. I didn't change anything, but the computer when you connect on a user displays account now 'a change to your Windows license." I have tried using the Product Code on the bottom of the laptop but without success. I have now bought an OEM of Windows 7 version, but does not know how to install it. It will not install the SafeMode. I'm stuck and it is purely a question of software licenses that shouldn't be a problem. Thanks for any help.
