Hello

Check with Lenovo support, their drivers and documentation online and ask in their forums
on known problems. Update drivers or install the same.

It seems that the mouse has developed a hardware problem. It is still under warranty?

  • Firefox does not load pages unless moves the mouse or keyboard is pressed

    Hello

I saw this problem listed several times before this post, but none of the solutions have helped me.

I am using Firefox for ages and the latest 3 updates or so were expose this problem. When I try to load a website, Firefox will start to takes me to the page and then hang. The circle in the tab will stop moving and it will stay there until I move the mouse or press a key on the keyboard. As long as the mouse moves permanently or the keyboard keys are pressed, the page will load very well. The same thing happens with YouTube. The video starts and then freeze unless the keyboard/mouse is moved. Firefox also has this problem when I try to download a file from a Web site. The download starts and then hang on until I move the mouse or press a button, then it will continue for a few seconds and hang on again until I repeat the movement of the mouse or press the keyboard button.

So far, I tried to update Firefox, Java and Flash; Starting Firefox in Safe Mode; uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox: do a complete uninstall and reinstall of Firefox with removing profile and creation. I ran ad next and malware detection with no infection found tools: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, SuperAntispyware, and AdwCleaner scan Microsoft security, Windows Defender, Spybot Search & Destroy, utility Kasperky free Security Scan and Anti-rootkit TDSSKiller.

The only thing I tried that 'seemed' to work was from Windows Mode safe mode with networking and run Firefox there. I was able to watch YouTube videos without freezing and websites seem to load properly. Of course, I can't run in Mode safe all the time.

I've attached a screenshot of what it looks like when Firefox crashes on Google News. Note that the images in part loading, but a good number of them is waiting or not loaded.

I hope someone can help me, because I like Firefox and I wouldn't switch to Chrome or (shudder) IE.

Thank you in advance for your help!

  • Must move the mouse to display any video and some actions (update). My office windows 7 + FF v35.0

My system had this problem going back months or years. Read the other threads which were old/treated with previous versions of FF.

The problem of mouse movement occurs on my system viewing any video. She is also apparent in certain actions such as selecting Refresh or other actions on the page. Unless / until you move the mouse from the action of progress that appears in the tab there is a delay/no action unless / until the mouse is moved.

I'm just judging from the symptoms it could be adware/malware associates. This is because many users with the same problem has pointed out that it was the case before:

    Hello
I am running version 34.0 Firefox and I have to move the mouse to load pages or videos. I don't have to do this problem in Internet Explorer, Firefox only.

This problem can be caused by malicious software.

Make a check of malware with several malware scanning of programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.
All of these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before scanning.

Alternatively, you can write a check for an infection rootkit TDSSKiller.

Sometimes, when I move the mouse to the top, the tabs and toolbar reappear, but sometimes it gets stuck and I'm stuck without the toolbar. I can only navigate from the page I'm. Whenever I move the mouse over the menu history in firefox 7.0.1 program just hangs, I get a spinning wheel on Win 7, if I click on the program, it fades and becomes white. After about 20-30 seconds, everything goes back to normal, except that I can not even access the history. It does the same thing if I try again! It works if I press Ctrl + H, but that's all!

    What happens here?

  • My iMac freezes, but I can still move the mouse

My iMac (3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, new HDD 4 TB, 12 GB of memory running 10.9.5) freezes randomly just straight up. I can't tell you how or when this happens. There is no model it. I can move the mouse, but click on anything. I am usually under Safari and Firefox when this happens, and I have a few windows/tabs open. I'm also in Word when this happens sometimes. But really, I don't test the limits of this computer so I can't understand why it would freeze upwards. I got it in the store four times and this is my third hard drive. I am currently using about 1 TB or less than my 4 to drive, it's not a question of space. Guys my computer store say it might be a software problem, but I don't see how that nothing is added or downloaded since it began. My old computer died in February, so I got an iMac refurbished with a brand new HD and the new ram. That's when the problems started. I replaced the computer with this one (another refurbished with a brand new HD) and still had the problem. Now I just got a new 4 TB HD hybrid (I love, BTW.) (Very fast), and the problem persists. Any ideas? Thank you. My computer guy say that their only idea is to wipe the drive clean and manually put items on one by one. Sounds expensive and has not guaranteed to solve the problem.

  • Program accelerates when you move the mouse

I use a simple few stripcharts program and have put a clock on the screen to measure the milliseconds per program cycle.  I noticed that when I move the mouse, it takes about 33mS to perform the loop, but when I move the mouse, it goes down to 8mS.  The stripcharts to accelerate as well.  I really need the program to run at the fastest speed to get a decent amount of data to display (Nyquist rate issues).  Has anyone seen this kind of problem before?

In addition, there is a better way to send data to 5 stripcharts using PlotStripChartPoint 5 times?

    I'm under V8.0 on a PC104, 1.4 GHz Pentium M, Windows XP.

Thanks for all your help over the 6 months.

Thank you very much for your help.

I tried the multithreading and the solution of PlotStripChart and the two a little help, I still had my main problem, lack of pics.  I was not so concerned with the display of all data in time real, just need something for the user to see what was going on.  The final solution, that I came was to use PlotStripChart and SetSleepPolicy the VAL_SLEEP_NONE value.  This has increased my program for even faster speed that when I moved the mouse.

I realize that Windows is not a RTOS, but this request didn't really need that go well.  Most of the data I am looking for is about 1 to 20 Hz, and this easily enough.

    Once again, thank you.
