  No, the recovery disks will restore Windows XP on the system. Lenovo does not support the DualBoot configs.

  A clean installation deducted a format of the hard drive.

  I finally managed to get the reinstallation CD to load.  I also spoke with telephone tech support at Microsoft who helped me to descend KB977165 my system.  After that was removed the computer booted without error.  By MS tech, I am also running the anti-virals and malicious programs to see if they detect all the other infections.

  Originally, the CD would load to the point of being able to choose between the options: continue to fix or exit.  At this point, the computer froze upwards and would not all repairs in order to remove KB977165.  Microsoft launches a call again tomorrow in order to install safety free bug so far.
