Then after about 60 seconds, connect waiting for DSL modem for sink power cord. Then plug the router after sink connect the router to the modem, and then connect the hub and other devices. • Network printer cannot connect through IE

  I successfully download an HP network printer.  I am running Vista and IE8.  Indications (FixIt, printer troubleshooting) all indicate there is no problem.  In fact, the FixIt Windows downloaded without any problem.  Yet, when I try to access the printer, he constantly says it is offline.  I am able to access the web pages IE without problems.  I have this network printer installed on 6 other PCs with no problems.  What else can I do to clear the 'offline '?

  FYI - I actually fixed it.  I did two things.  I uninstalled the universal driver and reinstalled the HP driver for a network connection.  I then found the way to uncheck the 'OFF Line' button.

  I have a home network and two printers connected wirelessly. One is HP Laserjet P1102w and works very well. The other is all-in-one HP Officejet 7410 and I am not able to connect to it. I installed the HP software, but it fails to detect the printer. It was working fine before the update from Windows 8.1 for Windows 10.

  I am able to ping the printer IP. If I enter the IP address on my browser I see the printer (see photo below) and it let me scan (see photo display preview).  But I could not find where to go the scan! It is not in my scans.

  I ran HP print and Scan doctor and it shows the HP Officejet 7400 series. When I select and press Next, it says: failed to communicate with your selected product. I noticed that the IP address is slightly different from the actual IP address that has the format: xx.x.x.xx. Than that shown is xx.x.xxx. Which ' don't know if it's part of the problem.

  I have an Officejet 6500 has everything in one. Running xp pro sp3, Netgear dgn1000 router, printer is connected via the Ethernet to the router. My operating system has crashed and had to be reinstalled. Before the accident, that the printer was working fine, once the reinstalled operating system installing the HP software gets as much as to try to detect my printer but can never find. I have connected to my router and the router recognizes the printer and my computer in its list of attached devices, the installation of HP software allows the use of typing in the ip address and the host name of the printer after that he cannot find it automatically.

  Two of these numbers by typing in the HP software can't find the printer. the following suggestion I had was to download and install the HP troubleshooting guide, I did and he asked me to print a summary of network page and check the status of the network which is ready and active connection type is wired.

  I turned off my windows firewall according to the convenience store and restarted my computer, what didn't work and by the way, I checked exceptions in the firewall and all relevant HP software has been added to the exceptions list.   Thank you for your reply sunshyn. I have corrected the problem. Apparently I had downloaded the 6500AE710n-z printer software and not my model which is the 6500AE710a-f. The only reason why I thought it was because of trial and error, because there is no ID on or in the printer out of 6500 a on the front.

  Try also if it is enabled by the FN + F8 key.

When I use the printer setup & software and select the option "convert a connected USB printer wireless", I can choose to enter into the setting of the printer access the router automatically or manually. These two will come with the same problem where the program is my name SSID of the router successfully but then failed to connect to what the SSID is not found.

  Solution: Check that your wireless router is powered. When to manually enter the name of your network (SSID), make sure you enter exactly including upper and lower case and spaces.

  Which is meaningless because it came with the SSID earlier and I chose what options the wireless network available. I tried to manually enter the SSID, but after entering the password for the router, the same error message appears.

  I would like to find a cheap USB to ethernet edge server printing for my Deskjet 5940 printer so that I can share it between three PC.  Even if I can find a number of devices for sale on the Internet, it seems that they are usually only compatible with certain printers.  For example the IOGear GPSU21 (http://www.iogear.com/product/GPSU21/) seems an attractive choice, its compatibility list at

  The first and third items you mention are wireless, not ethernet. The second element has a parallel printer USB port no. The last three items are pluggable EIO. None of them are similar itmes for IOGear device that I mentioned. I will accept as your mention of IOGear unit solution, but if you check Amazon customers and other user forums, it seems that 50% of chance that "any network printer" cannot be obtained for work, where my original question.
