Understand the concept of sequences - CS4

I'm one of you good people can explain to me how to put several plans on the same timeline and how to merge the sequences. I can't grasp the concept. I have no problem to import images.

I was at half way through a project and presented in Digital Juice Ready2Go pre-made sequence and instead allow me to deposit in the current timeline, it opens as one new project in another window. I ended up having to recreate the images from this original project and place it behine the DJ footage.

In addition, how would you put several projects together on the same timeline after them created? I'm really lost on this and could use some help.

For the concept, I see "Sequences" as "Deadlines." I use to change the "scenes" or "chapters" separately and not have them on, or linked to, when I author of the project in again. I can keep everything in one project, but can have several sequences. I also think the sequences as "mini projects", in a project of "master".

When a material of imports, such as a PSD file in layers, it strictly speaking as a separate sequence, in the project from the project Panel. We can't directly import a sequence into another, BUT we can easily give focus to a sequence, copy content, then bring the focus to another sequence, set the CTI (current time indicator/reading head) as you wish, to identify the necessary courses and then paste the content.

If you import this DigitalJuice file into a project, it should appear as a sequence in your project Panel. If it is open a new project, then something's weird about this file. As you can have a project open at a time, we could choose the material of the open Digital Juice file original, copy, of the project, and then paste. Not as easy as just switching the focus of the sequence in the sequence.

Good luck

  • Understand the choice of sequence

Well, I figured out how I'm going to name my pictures. But now I'm trying to understand these choices of sequences that are:

    1 sequence # (1).

    2 sequence # (01).

    3 sequence # (001).

    4 sequence # (0001).

    5 sequence # (000001).

These options correspond to how many files Lightroom will be the maximum number of? Like saying I chose sequence # (1). If I had only nine pictures I'd be correct since Lightroom will count from 1 to 9. But as I add image number 10 while I'm in trouble cuz I ran out of digits?

So basically if you choose # (1) you can have up to 9 images (ten if you start numbering at 0) before running out of numbers.

If you choose # (01), you can have up to 99 images before you start running out of numbers.

If you choose # (001), you can have up to 999 images before you start running out of numbers.

    I understand that correctly?

No, this isn't how it works. The format Specifies how many zeros will be added to the number if the number itself is not all figures.

    Examples:

    Image #.
    #(1) #(01) #(001) #(0001)
    1 1 01 001 0001
    2 2 02 002 0002
    ... ... ... ... ...
    9 9 09 009 0009
    10 10 10 010 0010
    11 11 11 011 0011
    ... ... ... ... ...
    99 99 99 099 0099
    100 100 100 100 0100
    ... ... ... ... ...
    999 999 999 999 0999
    1000 1000 1000 1000 1000

The sequence number referred number of images within the import, which means that it will be reset with each new import.

  • understand the concept of global variables

    Hi guys,.

I just have a small question...

I discovered that my main program uses global variables 855.

It was not built by me.

I hope that if you guys done with this before?

What do you think this is a good approach for me.

Find ways to get rid of all the global variables using cluster?

or leave it like that because his work and don't borther with her.

    or is there another solution?

    Thanks in advance

If I were you I just whine a little and then conform to the architecture, that I inherited.

  • Understand the Concept of organization in OIM 11 g

    Hello

Say that we "Org Org B, Global help Desk" as suborganization Xellerate users and users in the framework of assistance has been given roles admin Help Desk, user as part of technical support will be able to reset the password across A Org, Org B etc?

And say a resource is assigned to the Org as accounts available, can we restrict that this account not to be shown to the Help Desk to perform any type of management accounts-if not how can achieve us?

Looking forward to the clarification, thanks in advance.

Yes, using the code you can assign any number of administrative roles to a single user. For example, you can assign Helpdesk Admin role of Org A and B Org Org Helpdesk user.

But it is only support using the code and you can automate it.

  • Need help to understand the collection

    Hi all

I'm trying to understand the concept of collection, but when I look in the documentation that exists in google.ca, then, it seems very confusing. If someone suggest me or send me some simple examples and good collection and I really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

    Concerning

    Line

Thanks for the explanation, could you please explain what does really to take care of the index as a whole and clause varchar2 and if yes then what condition we use varchar2 index and in which condition we use index as a whole, be we just use index by integer in our daily practice. Really appreciate your response. Thank you

Generally if you use collections, especially PL/SQL-only collections, your architecture is probably wrong. Collections are rarely necessary, but are often USED in the mistaken belief that they will help performance.

The use of the collections usually DEGRADES performance, sometimes severely, and they are often used in a way that is not scalable. You should avoid using collections if possible.

So don't use the collections AT ALL in your 'common practice '.

For the rare cases where there is to use an array associative index type to use depends on the data type of the element that you will use for the index. If you plan to use a string, then you use INDEX OF VARCHAR2. If you plan to use an integer, then you use INDEX BY PLS_INTEGER.

What type of index to use has NOTHING to do with performance.

One of the WORST mistakes developers make is to use an associative array as target of a BULK COLLECT INTO instead of using a TABLE IMBRIQUEE. Collection in bulk is more often used in a FORALL statement so that the elements are accessible only in the order. Useds "indexed" access with associative arrays isn't even necessary or used.

  • Can I change SD and HDV sequences at the same time in CS4?

I have a camcorder Sony PD 150 and I am looking to buy a Sony HDR - HC # HDV 1080i Camcorder to use as a second video camera shoots.  Can I edit images from two cameras on the same timeline in CS4?    I use a PC, Windows XP Home Edition, Version 2002, with a processor Intel (R) Pentium (R) 2.80 GB 2.5 GB of RAM.  Thank you!

    Lewis B.

With your processor, I suggest you downrez in HDV, DV camera and change only in SD and deliver on DVD or similar.

If you want to make HDV, get a better PC, invest in InstantHD Pro of S.redgiant to uprez your DV material (and you can still be disappointed by the results) and get a reader and burner BRD.

Should what technique I use to get a reference to the file of the sequence on the process model PreUUT running?

    Phillip,

You can use RunState.ProcessModelClient to access the file from the client's sequence in the process template.

  • Shaping the interpolated PNG sequence line

Ok. I am fairly new to animate CC. I love all the power that I seem to have. A point of interest for me is the width tool. I use it a lot in Illustrator, and I am pleased to see that it's here as well. That's really what my question is subject, honestly.

So I have this line, to frame 1 in a timeline. Now, I used the tool great width to transform this line into a sword to the 20 frame. Then to the 40 chord I use the same method to turn the line into a hammer. Then a shovel. Then a spoon. Then, a [insert the other name of the form here.] Each of these new forms is a new keyframe in the timeline panel. After that, I have about 5 keyframes, I highlight in the timeline and convert to shape tween. Now, when I rub the scenario, I see a nice clean morphing effect between Forms. Awesome!

Now comes the part that I need help. So I have this blissfully brilliant morphing animation, but now I want to put this animation in a PNG sequence, so that I can use it as a sprite in a game (or other). Essentially, what I want to do, is to have a series of png, which all have a transparent background (since this is a sprite), morphing just animated line (which means, I don't want the white scene behind it, in every picture). I've tried several things, but I can't seem to understand the exact steps to get there.

I noticed, looking at a bunch of tutorials, one thing is that, in order to create a sprite in the way that I need, the object you put in the sprite sheet should appear in your "Library" window In order for that to happen, it seems that the object must be a symbol. One thing I've tried converts the line frame 1 to a symbol, so that it appears in the library window, hoping that the symbol of all morphing frames would inherit according to picture 1. Unfortunately, it uses only that one frame for the symbol, it means that the symbol contains only an image when I try to export it to a PNG sequence. For this reason, I tried to convert the entire animation to all keyframes, and then by converting the line in each image to a symbol. This, as you probably know, has not achieved what I wanted to, because now each frame of the animation is more active with all the other executives. So, I had the same problem where each symbol has only a single image, and there is no obvious way to say they are all managers of the same symbol.

I feel that the tools I have here must provide me with a way to export this animation, line shape interpolated, in what sequence PNG background transparent I'm looking for. Maybe, I'm missing just the tool "Convert online Animation Sprite sheet" somewhere. Or maybe I'm going over all evil. I'm totally open to suggestions if the methodology any wrong, and of course I'm open to any useful observations that anyone can have for my weird problem.

    Thanks in advance

Hey everybody. I think I found a way to do this. Looks a bit a way hackers do it. It may be the right way, but it seems a bit too complicated for me. In any case here are the steps that I followed to complete a sequence of PNG from a line of animated tween to shape that contains all the animation in line width:

    1. create the animation, as I did in my question (create a line, creating multiple keyframes on the timeline that have changes in line width [like what makes a sword or hammer or other], and then select all the keyframes and make a shape tween animation)
    2. Highlight all the images that are animated in the scenario, even key non-images
    3. Right-click on the selected images and choose "Convert to keyframes", take all frames to keyframes. now, you have pictures for each discrete animation image
    4. While all new keyframes are still highlighted (must be a keyframe images now), click with the right button on the selected images and choose "copy images".
    5. Insert a new symbol (menu Insert-> new symbol...)
    6. Select "Movie Clip" type, and then click OK
    7. in the scenario of the symbol itself, right-click on the first frame on the first layer and select 'paste images.
    8. Rub this chronology in order to check your pasted frames to produce the animation you think it should
    9. If so, goto your window library, right click the symbol that you just created and choose "build Sprite Sheet.
    10. Use the sprite sheet creation tool to create and export your sequence PNG with transparent background
    11. Use your IDE to import the sprite sheet
    12. profit!

I hope this helps someone. There may be a better way to do it, but hey, it works. So until I find a better way to do it, I'll just use it, and you are welcome for so

    Thank you guys

  • Need help to understand the network of vSphere environment

    Hello

I need your help in understanding the network environment in vSphere. Please see the diagram and the text below:

    vm.png

NIC #1 - Management Port (access from client vsphere, vCenter server)

NIC #2 - Port of VMkernal (for iSCSI, vMotion, etc.)

    NIC #3 -?

    #4 – CARTE NETWORK INTERFACE?

Q1 how allow external users to access services over the ESX host? (for example, IIS, FTP, Exchange, NFS)

Q2, what will be the role of the other two network cards? Is it connected to the physical switch?

    * Ask you all to please help me by sharing your knowledge / experience on the network portion, you have made in your environment as NIC how, what to do with that. *

I really need to understand the networking of concepts in vSphere, hope that your help!

    Best regards: Yash

With an additional NIC with 2 port a general configuration might look like this:

    vSwitch0 - vmnic0, vmnic1 (connected to different physical switches)

    Network VMkernel management

VMotion VMkernel network (own IP network, own VLAN)

Better if they is configured as active / standby.

    vSwitch1 - vmnic2, vmnic3 (connected to different physical switches)

    Trade VM

    vSwitch2 - vmnic4, vmnic5 (connected to different physical switches)

VMkernel iSCSI (own IP network, own VLAN)

Ideal if it is added to the component Multipath iSCSI, which is quite easy to vSphere 5.

  • Understand the time functions

How this function runs? When I write below the rule...

the person meets the condition of age if

    both

    TemporalBefore(2007-01-01) and

    age in years > = 55

    or

    both

    TemporalOnOrAfter(2007-01-01) and

    age in years > = 65

How this function evaluates the conclusion true or false based on the functions TemporalBefore() or TemporalOnOrAfter()... What information it takes like reference date to decide TemporalBefore() or TemporalOnOrAfter(). I want to say is we have to compare two values where there is here only one value in the functions...

Need currentDate as date of reference?

You have to understand the time values. TemporalBefore () returns a value time is real before the specified date and false later. Whenever you use a time value in the rules the result is another time value. The time values are extremely powerful, but it takes a little while (and convenient) to get used to the concept.

  • What is the concept of T_DATE?

    Hello

Can someone explain to me the concept of T_DATE?

    Kind regards
    Pradeep

    Hi pradeep,.

$vdate represents a virtual appointment that is mainly used for the system to understand and execute the business process of back-end day for a specific day. It is why the dtesys.pc batch is scheduled after, we perform all other lots. now that this batch runs systems clocks at the next day.

OrElse for example: If you got the day transaction data and other data the same will be batched night right! , here the day of calendar changes once the clock hits 00:00 in the wake of his calendar... .This causes a sort of confusion for all programs to run batch... So we need to keep a date called virtual appointment that allows all programs t o run their processes & display the data in the corresponding tables correctly. Once everything is done the dtesys.pc will move to the database until the next day.

hope this helps you understand :)

    Kind regards
    Deepak

  • Good way to start with learning the concepts of 11g

    Hello

I have a work experience on the BEA weblogic server 8.1 sp4 on which I have worked for about 2 years now. My current mission requires work to Installation / development and deployment on the server of Fusion middleware 11g. Could some body if you please suggest me a good way to start with learning the concepts of 11g.

I understand that all the documentation is available in the Oracle forum, but I want to know where to go.

My essential tasks in the assignment would be
    1. installation (OSB on top of WLS).
    2 development/configuration on OSB.
    3 deployment and administrative tasks.

    Kind regards
    Angelique

Some former OSB tutorials are mentioned here: Oracle OSB - tutorial for using Eclipse plugin development

The development of OSB guide (which shows how to use Eclipse) can be found here: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17904_01/doc.1111/e15866/toc.htm

For now (to my knowledge), Eclipse is used for the development of OSB. Note that JDeveloper is used for development with the Oracle SOA Suite (for example Oracle BPEL).

  • Need help! Re: Sequence Presets understanding & settings + using multiple sequences!

Hi, I'm newer to Premiere Pro (using the new version of Pro obtained in March 2010 on a PC) and watched all the tutorials (lots of video) and read a LOT about the subject! And I have answered several questions about mine. But there is one main thing (that I'll probably have to divide it into 2 or more questions) that I just got a complete knowledge & really your expert need help on!

Thank you very, VERY MUCH! Really...

I have designed/product audio (music) for a while now and when you start a new session just, you select your sample rate & are locked in for the most part therefore... Pretty simple... Now with Pro, when you start your new session, you choose your Preset sequence. Now for this first project, a video clip (3 minutes), the audio is done (as I said) and for the clip, we use images from several sources including: maybe 55% compared with a mini-camera DV, 40% of the .vob files right & the remaining 5% of some mpeg files + a few YouTube videos (we only have it our preserved images of front on YouTube) + some JPEGs (still images). And we plan to export the final video on YouTube and the internet. And we want also ready to be broadcast on both television (MTV, some media, shows, etc.). And Yes, we will also use it on cell phones (even if it is the least important right now). So 3 main exports (which I believe are all made at the end through media encoder).

    • But to choose the right Preset sequence at the beginning, I am confused, unfortunately.   I

Believe you choose the one that best fits to of your assets sizes & frame rate [in this case, which is a camera film regular DV; & mediainfo said the .vob file = 720 x 480 (4:3) to 29.970 fps MPEG video (NTSC), one of the shots (of our) YouTube = 480 x 270 (16:9) at 29.970 fps STROKE, a MPEG = 352 x 288 (4:3) at 25.000 fps and 2 examples of jpeg = 300 x 400 (size = 57 KB)] and another = 720 x 450 (size = 100 KB)]. So if I am wrong in my assumption on the choice of a pre-defined sequence just on the best corresponds to the your assets rates & sizes, I would choose (I think): DV-NTSC Standard 48 kHz (the 48 just to 41 over our audio sampling frequency).

And if all goes well, it is excellent for our export needs YouTube at the end of the process the video & tv as well!

    .. . Is this correct?

Can I choose the predefined sequence that best matches most of the sizes/frame rate of your assets?

    * And ESPECIALLY... is CE Preset of the sequence is the BEST for this current music video (based on the sources of our assets & where it will be considered when it is finished - mainly of YouTube, & also some TV [for media and broadcasting] - probably on a DVD, I guess)?

Or I'm wrong, & it (your Preset Sequence) depends on your final product & the output?

My friend (who admits that he is no expert in some way) explained that I would probably go with HDV 1080 p 30 as this will give a much better value for my release. But after he saw the results in Pro with this setting for my property, he agrees with MY above conclusion instead.

When you use the DV - NTSC Standard 48 kHz preset, I saw the asset in the Source monitor Panel (& then dragged the clips to the timeline) & seen in the finale of "Project Monitor" (I think it is called). And they looked decent in this final screen (where I'll crop & use some shared screens sometimes).

And when I used his suggestion of 1080 p HDV 30, assets looked ok in the Source monitor Panel (I think), but very little in the final project monitor.

    • And led me to another big question - when you use the jpeg format which is 1280 x 960 e.g. (largest

as the previous ones) in the Standard DV NTSC 48 kHz preset, happening in the Source monitor. But when you drag it down to the timeline and view it in the program monitor, the head was cut off, etc. and of course, when you use instead the HDV 1080 p 30 preset, as larger jpeg even adapt very well in the in the program monitor. Now, I understand that this is because the size of the frame (dimensions) close match those of the HDV preset. I get it. What none of us got was however WHY in the DV - NTSC Standard 48 kHz preset, he looks very well in the Source monitor Panel (but not in the program monitor)? (The two were simply put to 'Fit'). We thought he not would not have looked at well & fit fine and complete source of follow-up at first - but that's the difference between this largest jpeg display when it is displayed in two different monitors that really confused us!

    • And the final main confusion on this topic lies in something, that a technician in Adobe, tell us, informing that

We can create multiple sequences. Now, I saw How to do this in the project Panel, but it's really the full understanding of the workings that we don't get. The tech said: "each sequence MUST have the good frame rates, sizes of images." Ok, you understand - understood. And he said: we can be: convert the size of the image (of this large jpeg example, say reducing) to match the predefined video frame size. But in this way, we would lose the quality (jpeg - assets). And he says: - or - you CAN use multiple sequences for different sources & when everything is completed (the whole video), I just export it them all as a single project! And I have that a sequence may be getting the DV preset (with the heights of these assets corresponding closely to this preset) and another sequence (in the same project) can be the HDV preset (with the heights of remaining assets corresponds closely to the preset instead). , But he couldn't explain was: how you can view your entire music video (3 minutes) in its entirety in Pro. It seems that when you choose a 2nd sequence, it obviously creates on the timeline, and assets that you put in the 1st (DV) timeline is completely separate from the 2nd (HDV) timeline. And you get no display either at the same time (because they are distinct sequences).

    So... is this true?

Are we supposed to use multiple sequences within our project to clip one of the assets with a higher (or other) image size/rate?

And you export sequences as a final clip?

And if so, HOW the world watch you your video chats (in the monitor of the project with all of your changes - as you change) when you use more than one sequence?

Sorry, it seems quite stretched out, but I want to answer your questions you can in turn have for me & be clear so I can finally receive clarity on this topic!

I know it's much, but if you could address all of the above questions (more background or discussion - is but a handful of issues in there), you have my gratitude... we were afraid to start the part of the video of this project is NOT know what sequence preset start with (as "we don't want to be locked into the wrong choice & waste weeks of editing), let alone a good understanding of the 'why' or the ramifications!

Thank you so very, very well... You have no idea how...

Rendering is done on a basis as needed. If we do a complex animation with keyframes, or if they have odd source files, they could do. For keyframe animations, I could make this section of the timeline of a dozen or more times. Otherwise, maybe not.

Rendering is the production of AV files, just for reading. They take a lot of space and will take a while. It's one of the reasons that a Publisher must familiarize themselves with the WAB (work area bar), so that they do things like rendering for all what they might need. Tip: remember to put this back to the full timeline.

    Good luck

  • Impossible to import anything in the 4.0 body (CS4)

Hello. A few months ago, I downloaded the demo of pro CS4 and I first got right down to install. Installation went well.

However, now that I've created a sequence but I can't import anything in the list of files. Not, videos avi, m2v MPEG2 or AVCHD no no jpeg images, no mp3 files. NOTHING! When I try to drag the cursor changes to a red circle with a line crossing. If I go to the import of files, I get the box indicating import and the bar goes to 100%, but nothing happens.

Ive tried with different sequences, pal ntsc, HD, SD. all the same.

Any help? I'd like to try CS4 before my 30 days...

Im running vista x 32 and have Kaspersky antivirus installed

It's sad that the trial has no mpeg support.

It's because of the license of the MainConcept CODEC. Adobe would have to pay for each version of the track and could not get a sale out of it. Fully-paid version has everything included and installed. This is just the trial, who does not.

The avi file, I tried was a divx encoded in pal (interlaced) video. I tried two more different.

That's what I had planned. DivX and Xvid (version open source) are first not intended to be edited and broadcast highly compressed formats. While you may have the necessary CODEC to play these files on your system, PrPro cannot edit with them. Now, you can convert these files into files DV - AVI Type II and they would work well, with the exception of this loss of quality due to the encoding DivX first.

put to the test various jpeg files. each of them is visible in the viewer of images very well. a pixel dimension, I used was 2288 x 1712 pixels.

This part is strange indeed. I thought it would be giant 12 MP files, or something. It should work perfectly. They are a little big, but not what I expected. PrPro manage image up to 4000 on the largest dimension. Something is happening. I'll get back to that in a moment.

I think that the problem here is that there is something wrong with the import process. There is no error message. as I said, all isee is a red circle with a line through as a slider when I try to drag and drop while if I use the file-> import, it seems that things are normal, except when the file has been processed, I do not see in the workspace from sources, and there is nothing for me to drag in the timeline.

OK, let's go through the steps to create a project, active import and then use them on the Timeline. Let's try this with your JPEG, although if we had used active AV, things would be more battleships.

1.) from the screen, choose new project/sequence. You will get a screen of dialogue. Here, you choose a preset that matches your assets in Motion, but we do not have. [You could also choose office, as a preset and establish custom settings].

(2.) in your new project, open the chronology of the sequence, choose file > import, and navigate to your JPEG. Choose them. Now, they will appear in your project Panel. This is where your project assets are listed. DBL-click on one, and it should open in the Source monitor. There was also a small thumbnail of it in the project Panel.
