Unexpected Pc reboot
My pc restarts unexpectedly while I watch a video, or I am using Visual studio 2010 Express
and no blue screen!

Well, I must admit that I read something about it on Pc world and I doubted and stopped using cleaners for quite awhile.
but because of something which I can't remember I used them once more and we are here.
and there is one thing that I noticed, and it really shows that you are 100% right and I entirely agree with you.
for example, win utilities scans and shows 0 problems in the registry and recently I installed avg 2011 free edition which has a parser
and it shows 250!
on the problem of restart-time-video-reading, I must say that I have downloaded and run a tool from microsoft called "Fix it" and it scanned my codecs
and showed nothing of issue! Maybe it's the registry!
and I have a question, is it possible that I can restore my registry to its default state?
See if your registry cleaner has an undo feature. If this is not the case, use the system
Restore back to a date before cleaning the registry.
I'm not going to play with fire again!
Thank you for your time!
You are welcome. Happy to help you.

Hi Jacob,
I think that the phone has no failover to the secondary or the SRST because this failover process takes time. The phone will try to reach the primary call three times Manager before declaring the link as dead, and then try saving with its secondary server. My guess is that it reset during this time and when he returned, realized that the connectivity to the main call agent is there. He then joined the main call agent.
This doc speaks to the behavior of IP phone. You can consult the section "failover delayed for SCCP phones."

iMac (retina 5K, 27 inches, end of 2015) randomly restarts without errors
My iMac has been randomly restart itself (about once per day) when it is idle. Everyone knows the same problem? I found a YouTube video and that's exactly what happened to my iMac: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ka7lUIeiH5E
I attended once - the computer was in (not sleeping) with the screen off, nothing CPU/GPU intensive market. I suddenly heard a chime and saw that the computer restarted itself. I logged. There is no window pop up. I launched the Console and did not see anything unusual before the reboot.
More information:
- The computer is idle when restart occurs. Nothing on the computer indicates overheating. Display is off (for inactivity) and fan is quiet.
- There is no trace of the software stop, panic the kernel or crash. System log shows the normal activities, and then a sudden entry BOOT_TIME, as if someone pulls the power cord.
- It is not a failure, because the computer must be turned off if this is really a power failure. "Start automatically after a power failure" is not checked.
- It started happening after I came back from a trip and upgraded my iMac to the latest Mac OS X five days ago. This computer was purchased in October and I had never seen anything like this until a few days ago.
Comments on the YouTube video suggests a total prosthesis, but I hesitate to do so if it turns out to be a software/firmware problem that can be fixed. -The computer is heavy and the closest Apple Store is not very close, not to mention the efforts of backup/restore.
Thank you
Seems to be a problem with 10.11.4. No doubt you did not have this problem before installing 10.11.4
Further discussion on this issue here: 5 k iMac restarts on its own after you install 10.11.4 unexpected restart
I think it is highly unlikely that it is material, as all signs point to a software problem (no problems before the update to 10.11.4 and everyone does the same behavior (unexpected random reboots) and the error code ('previous stop cause - 128' - which nobody seems to know what that means exactly) after updating to 10.11.4.) In any event, hardware problems usually come right out go the box or after tinker you with the machine somehow like the installation of ram, add devices, etc. and later, you start to experience unexpected behavior. None of this seems to happen with this issue.

I have 6 s Iphone and IOS 9.2.1 Email app will remain open only for 5 seconds and then stops? I restarted but does not correct. Someone at - it fixes?
Hi Boxahpowah,
Thank you for contributing to the communities of Apple Support.
It seems that the Mail app on your iPhone that closes unexpectedly. Reboot was a good step to try and then I recommend this process to get help with Mail on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch:
- Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, calendars.
- Press the email account.
- Press to delete the account.
- Add your account again.
Sincerely.

HP pavilion DV6 1030us stop and restart spontaneously
I bought a HP pavilion DV6 1030us in June 2009, and the Bios has been updated to the latest F24A.
However, during the laptop running, it will be sunddenly stop stop and try again.
This unexpected shutdown just looks like all of a sudden power loss and happens at random, at least, I can't find a rule.
For most cases, this closure comes without blue screen, and it is independent of the operating system. I tried to install windows 7 64 bit, windows 7 32-bit, vista 64 bit, xp 32-bit, all OS such a problem.
I don't know if other users with this template has such a problem. I got tired of what I do, still can not solve the problem.
I suspect that the Bios has a problem. I hope that HP will release a new very soon.
BTW, if I update the BIOS, it erases the old BIOS completely first, then write in the new?
Thanks for your attention!
Hi guys,.
During the Christmas holidays, I did real progress to find the cause of the problem of restart suddenly.
I am so anxious to share my experience with you all.
As I mentioned before, when the first time I sent my laptop for repair, they replaced the hard drive, and nothing improved.
And the second time, I asked to replace the motherboard.
Unexpected, the reboot problem remains after changes to the motheboard, I've been very frustrated by such a result, I even thought that maybe this laptop is never fixed.
Then I started to search the Internet once again and a few posts point to the power supply and one point in the strip of memory, but memory defective barrette syndrome is different. And if my memory went all kind of test without any error, including windows memory diagnostic tool, memtest86 + 4.00 and the diagnostic tool memory in the bios setting.
in such a situation, I doubt that the power supply has a defect. but I can do nothing with it. I think maybe I make a memory module to avoid the will of power help (I have 2 * 2 GB memory module).
Unexpected, after that I got a good memory, restart occurred more frequently.
Then I suddenly realize if this memory module has problem, so I took it and put in another. and with the 2nd memory module, the problem of restart never happens so far.
To confirm this, I repeated this experience (I'm a sicentist in biology, I know that to reach a conclusion, the result must be reproducible). And this is the case, restart happened frequently with the first memory module and never happens with the 2nd memory module.
now, I should mention that this module model memory is: MT16HTF25664HY - 800 1. Then, do not lack of HP.
So if you suddenly have the reboot problem and if you do not find the reason, and even if your memory module has passed the test, you should try to replace it to see what happens.
If this post helps you solve your problem, pls post your result here to help more people in despair with such a problem.

Hi there, I've never had this problem when I bought my MBP in 2010, but after the problem with unexpected reboots of El Capitan passage has become more common and is really affecting the productivity of my laptop.
For clarity, here's my cell phone information:
MacBook Pro (15-inch, mid 2010)
Processor: Intel Core i5 2.53 GHz to
Memory: 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Graphics card:
integrated - Intel HD Graphics 288 MB
discreet - NVIDIA GeForce GT 330 M 256 MB
I ran the the Apple Hardware Test with no problems found. After looking on the forums and identifying the problem I installed gfxCardStatus to keep the graphics card using only internally, however, some programs force the use of Nvidia, which translates as the unexpected restarts.
The latest report of panic is attached below:
In any case, it is quite upsetting that after spending thousands of dollars on apple and laptops high-end, these problems are properly does not recognize their existence. After discussing with them several times they fail to take responsibility, when it is clearly a case of defective material...
Any suggestions for managing at least this issue would be very useful.
Thank you
Philippe

You have the MacBookPro6, 2 - the Edsel of Mac. There may be the failure of logic-board that was covered by a recall program that is now complete.
The model was abandoned in February 2011. From five years from this date, it will be classified by Apple as "vintage product." This means that Apple will refuse probably a maintenance action (see exceptions on the linked page.) In this case, you will need to go to an independent service provider. The part can be is no longer available, or the repair may not be profitable.
An appointment of 'Genius' in an Apple Store, or go to a different service provider authorized, to have the tested machine. Diagnoses of current equipment used by service providers don't detect the fault. There is a specific test for the same problem that Apple calls "VST" (for "video switching Test.") Ask for it. A "Failed" result means that the defect is present.
You may be quoted a price of about $350 (in the United States) for a "repair," which is to send the unit to a repair shop central and lasts about two weeks. For this package, found nothing wrong with it should be fixed, not only the logic board.
Sometimes, the spare part is also faulty, so be prepared for this eventuality. If you decide to pay for a new logic board, rigorously test during the 90 day warranty on the repair. Some owners have reported that they went up to three replacement boards before you get one that worked.
If you don't want to pay for the repair, you may (or may not) be able to work around the problem by disabling automatic switching graphics. To use the separate graphics processor, you will need a third-party utility to manually switch to him.
Often, the problems start after an upgrade of the OS. If the upgrade has been recently, and you have backups, you can then go back to a previous version of OS X.

Help! Illustrator crashed unexpected when I work with her. Only a reboot allows, after abandoning the preferences. Who knows what bug this is?
If we could, we could make a lot of money, solve problems.
But unfortunately, we can not just from your description. Please give us the details.
What version?
What system?
Third-party plug-ins?
All corrupt fonts?
What hardware is connected?
You have a printer installed?
Font management?
What exactly were you doing when it crashed?

Hello
MCU: Codian MSE 8510 Blade (configured in HD mode)
Software version: 4.2 (1.46)
Build: 6.17 (1.46)The bridge has been restarted unexpectedly this morning and we are currently investigating this problem. I would be grateful if you can help me and provide some ideas to identify this problem.
We assume that it is a power factor as on the MSE 8050 supervisor, there is an error message:
Insufficient current capacity (requires at least A 24.20)
Do you think that there is a relationship with this error message?
Hi Firdaush,
Could you please provide some basic information: -.
- Is this a new installation?
- It worked before?
- Did you calculate the power required when installing it for the first time properly?
- How many leaves are there in the frame?
- You could also attach a brief overview of the the MCU event logs.
Thank you
Saurabh
