Uninstall Malwarebytes AV.

I tried to unstall Malwarebytes AV and a popup says I need to check with the system administrator, but I'm him. How to remove the virus? I ran Bit Defender AV and is as cookies.

You use an administrator account?
Otherwise, sign in to one.

You can try to download and reinstall the program, and then run the uninstall once more. If there is a problem with its files, reinstalling should fix and allow you to use / uninstall.

Messages in these forums just repeat what the Malwarebytes company says on its site.  It simply doesn't get it. Here's what they say:

To uninstall Anti-Malware for Mac, launch the program and choose Uninstall Malwarebytes in the menu help (menu help are on the bar menu at the top of the screen).

I run the program, and a box of 3 options will appear.  The last section is called help.  By clicking Help, anywhere on or near the help, only takes you to a guideline that tells you nothing about uninstalling.  The expression 'Uninstall Malwarebytes' is nowhere.

In addition, aid is down, not from the top.

I'm the one not getting it?  Can someone help me please?

  • When I open firefox virus opens a page and say install flush or update Java

When I click to write browse alien 2 or 3, windows open and ask to install RAS player or java update. They cannot allow me to watch the web page or a movie in firefox. I've updated firefox by using the Help menu. But no fruitful result. What can I do? Please give me a solution.

Yes, so either you have malicious software, or something has changed your homepage.

What you can try. (I advise you to follow these steps in the order)

1 reset your default home page.

    • Press the ALT on your keyboard in Firefox, then click Tools > Options.
    • Go to "Général" and click on "Restore default" under Startup.
    • Then close and reopen Firefox and see if the malware popup always appears.

2 look for malware on your computer and malicious Add-ons on Firefox.

    • Press ALT on your keyboard and click on tools > Add-ons.
    • Sweep your list of Add-ons for those unfamiliar or suspicious, then click on 'Remove' or 'Disable' next to them if you find them.
    • Download Extension Defender (an add-on on the Mozilla Add-ons page).
    • Open it and find the Firefox malware, in case you missed some dangerous Add-ons while watching on your page of modules.
    • Download Malwarebytes Anti-malware.
    • Install it from the installation file that you downloaded.
    • Once installed, open the program, update the database, then run a scan with it for malware on your computer. The program will remove malware for free. (Feel free to uninstall Malwarebytes, once you have finished using it)

3 reset Firefox, which can resolve a number of issues which you can't fix it with Firefox.

    • Type of topic: support in address browser bar and hit enter on your keyboard.
    • Once you reach the page, click on "reset Firefox... ».

Note: this will reset your Firefox addons, preferences, etc.

I hope I can solve your problem!

  • HP Pavilion g6-2249wm Notebook PC out of mode 'sleep'.

Hi, I bought my HP Pavilion g6 on 23 February, and on the first day, it never happened 'sleep' mode. If she goes to sleep, I have to make a difficult start and then start it again. I'm no computer expert, but I don't know my way around troubleshooting PC... I read about the possibility of it needing a BIOS update (but also read it was risky, so I don't bother.) Well one day, my HP Support Assistant told me he had to update the BIOS, so I left it. Everything is fine, and everything is up-to-date. Is this just a gliche? Should I apply for coverage and get a new one? Thanks for your help!

    Hey gvass646,

Thanks for getting back to me with this information. I checked that F.23 is the latest version, if you are up to date. Before I suggest you uninstall Malwarebytes (because I used it before me, I know that this is not a bad program), I want you to take a look at the advanced power options.

    1. Windows Key + Q to bring up the search bar

    2. tap 'power '.

    3. click on settings under the search bar

    4. click on power on the left in the results Options

    5. click on change Plan settings next to the management of food which is selected (right)

    6. click on change power settings (bottom) advanced

    7. go to sleep and expand this section

    8. ensure that Allow hybrid sleep is set to one. Click on apply and test it by closing the lid or put it to sleep like you normally do. See if she wakes up from his sleep after this change.

    9. If this does the trick, return to the advanced power options window. Scroll down the power buttons and lid, expand this article completely, take a screenshot and attach it to your response, please. Here are some steps to help with a screenshot.

10 let me know how you normally use the computer. Don't you close the cover when you are done or leave the lid open and let go to standby mode after a short period of time?

    Forward to your response

  • My Satellite A500 is extremely slow

    Hi guys,.

First of all my apologies if I'm not in the right sub-forum here.

For about two weeks, my laptop (Satellite A500) is e-x-t-r-e-m-e-l-y s-l-o-w. Very often (not always) I get an error message after commissioning (which takes about 15 minutes) on a "JIT debugger" and click ok if you want to cancel the request or Cancel if I want to debug.

What does all this mean? Where did it come from?

    More information:
(-) I have not installed any new programs or anything for at least 6 months now.
(-) Recently, it takes about 15 minutes for the laptop at the start and another 15 minutes to log on to the net (via a usb wireless modem)
(-) I have one run a virus check (just in case ;)) and nothing was found.)
(-) I did a "gentle formula" that I found preinstalled on the computer. Apparently, this type of format gets rid of all your mistakes without having to reinstall all your programs. This 'soft' formula has not improved the performance.
(-) I brought up in the Task Manager to see which application causes the problem of JIT-debugger, but Task Manager area is empty. Nothing of what is running in there.

Could someone plllllllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaas sssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeee informed me what could happen and how I could possibly fix this problem? Your knowledge and your help would be greatly appreciated!

    Good luck everybody!

Thanks for the file. It seems you Malwarebytes Anti-malware installed on your computer and the driver for the software, c:\windows\system32\drivers\mbam.sys, might be the cause of the problem. This could be the result of Malwarebytes in conflict with other security software that is installed on your computer. Please give me a complete list of all security i.e. anti-virus software and other malicious software that are installed scanners.

It also seems that you are running Windows Server 2003 sp2. I already asked that clarify you that. You can do it.

If you are able to start the computer and uninstall Malwarebytes using Revo Uninstaller Portable way. Restart the computer and see if it still crashes. If you are not able to boot the computer to uninstall the software, you can boot from a live cd and delete the file in question. The location of the file is C:\windows/system32/drivers/mbam.sys.

These errors can often be attributed to malicious software. Therefore, the first step is to make sure that you are not infected. The error can also be caused by incomplete or corrupt download.

Click HERE. Download Malwarebytes. Update Malwarebytes and perform a scan.  Choose to quarantine found nothing. Once completed click HERE and download Superantispyware Portable. A quick, analysis in quarantine found anything yet.

You can uninstall Malwarebytes if you wish after the scan. SuperAntispyware is portable and does not install. It will be deleted when you delete temporary files. Post back with the results.

  • What is advanced protective system?

I don't know where this comes from and can't get rid of it. Anyone know of this program?

The icons on my desktop are about 4 sizes more big and trying to get Norton to help me to uninstall the remote program, but they could not. Help!

Try to do this to remove it.

You might want to try to do a scan of your computer.

You use a program called Malwarebytes to scan your computer. Here are the instructions below.

Here is the link for Malwarebytes: http://www.malwarebytes.org/

Malwarebytes is free unless you choose to download the version you purchase. The free one will do well. Once you download and install turn off your computer and then turn it back on. Once you turn on the computer again by pressing the button of the computer or something else, keep pressing the f8 key. That would be located at the top of your keyboard. There's f1 - f12 buttons on top and you'll notice that they are smaller than the normal keyboard. There will be a black and white options menu. Use your keyboard keys that make you go to the top, bottom, left and right. Go to Mode safe mode with networking and press ENTER. If you see icons and stuff that are larger than normal, it is normal for safe mode. The reason you do it is because when you are in safe mode your computer loads only the most basic things. Which means that the background programs can not run, so that the virus cannot run in the background. Now run a scan full malwarebytes in SafeMode with network which should run about 30 to 45 minutes. Once it is done restart your computer to go back to watching the screen back to normal.

To uninstall Malwarebytes when finished scanning go here.

You can also try to do a System Restore.

I hope that this is useful information.
    Good luck

  • Unable to connect to servers to update for my games or anti-virus software

I was somehow infected with vista antivirus 2010. I followed guides online on how to remove it. It is suggested to enter the registry and remove the stuff out there, but things that he said that I had to delete were not at all there.  I ran Malwarebytes and it seems to have stopped the annoying pop-ups and alerts of virus, but since then I cannot update my MMO games or my anti-virus software. I ended up uninstalling Malwarebytes and download ad-aware and I wasn't able to update ad-aware. I ran it and it eliminated several infections but I can't yet to update my MMO games. Did I miss something and can someone help me please understand this. Thank you

  • Several BSOD in an interval of two hours due to 'atikmdag.sys' and NTFS.sys with BlueScreenView

    Hello

So I have recently reinstalled Windows 7 and I got those BSOD in an interval of two hours. The space between the first and the second was almost an hour and a half and the space between the second, third and fourth was five minutes from each other. I'll post the DMP files for anyone to look at to see what you make of it... I used them for BlueScreenView check and in the two first, I found "tcpip.sys" in the third, I found "NTFS.sys" and the fourth, I found "atikmdag.sys" contributing... I also noticed that one particular exe file appeared in all four defective BSOD "ntoskrnl.exe". Could someone help with this? Another thing I noticed, I don't seem to have problems with Safe Mode with networking.

The four dump files in RAR herefile.

I think you have brewing here is conflict between AVAST and Malwabytes Pro. You can have more than one AV product with real-time protection (RTP) real installed.

Please uninstall Malwarebytes and reinstall the free version without the feature of RTP, or completely uninstall AVAST (preferred) and uninstall and reinstall the full version of Malwarebytes Pro.

    AVAST uninstall utility.

    https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility

Note: Regardless of the above, you decide to keep and reinstall, you must upgrade to the latest virus definitions and run a scan completes. Why? Because, as long as the conflict exists on your system, it is less certain that he would have been, with only on AV product installed.
