Uninstalled program still appears winodws 7.

What I did:

I uninstalled this program using the installer:

http://www.Docudesk.com/PDF-downloads/deskPDF-creator

I also cleaned my registry then repeatedly. I also reinstalled two times and uninstalled via the registry cleaner and Control Panel.

Also made sure to delete the remaining files on the C drive.

The question:

Whenever I right click on a document type of the file or anything that can be read in Notepad, I get the option to "deskpdfcreate" at the top of the list. This is starting to really annoy me as its been weeks since I uninstalled it and (for some reason any?), I can't do a system restore before the last 3 points of the system allows. These all being this week; even when I click to learn more. I'm lost for solutions now.

When you click on it, it comes up with an error:

"This file has no program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if such is already installed, create an association in the default programs control panel. »

I like to keep a really clean system and it bothers me not only because of the beast is that it bothers me, but also I often accidentally click on it when it locates in the 'open with' standard location, I'm used to.

Thank you.

HIS PARTY! check each registry shell for the past God knows how long and found a second in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\. \

Spent most of my time looking through the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory and the OTHER HKEY branches. Learned a fair bit on the registers, so I guess it wasn't all bad.

Thanks for the idea of regedit.

You can't completely remove or uninstall programs like Movie Maker, Outlook Express or Internet Explorer from the computer, because these were built in operating systems.

  • Name of the program that appear correctly while uninstalling ActiveX

    Hello

I'm having a problem with ActiveX 10 uninstall. When you go to unistall it, it will give the list of active programs running currently using 10 ActiveX. My program uses ActiveX 10 during the race and will appear in the list, however, for a reason that the case is incorrect. The product name is always displayed in lowercase, while other programs, for example, Yahoo Messenger, will appear with the correct case. This may not seem like the biggest problem, but the part of the name of the product is in the crankcase, so I would like to get this resolved.

My question is, where is this name being pulled from? I checked the name .exe/image, the name of the process, threads, etc. and that you do not find where that name comes from.

During uninstall, this program is called which is what shows the wrong tube product name: \Macromed\Flash\FlashUtil10q_ActiveX.exe

    I use a Windows 7 OS, Flash 10.3.181.14, FF4.

Any ideas or suggestions would be really useful!

    Hello JD at Adobe.

The name that appears in the dialog conflict is the name of your application, in tiny letters, less the ".exe", as it is returned by the operating system. You are right that some selection of applications appear with the so-called 'friendly names '. This is because these applications are very popular and have been determined for applications that cause the majority of conflicts with our installers/uninstall programs. To provide our customers better feedback what applications they should close for installation success, these friendly names are displayed instead of the raw process names.

At this point, choosing a good process name is your best way to appear in a meaningful way in the conflict of our installers/uninstall programs dialog box. We do not CAP support.

However, according to your comments, we opened an enhancement request for a future version of our installation/uninstall programs.

Thank you for being a valued Forum Adobe user.

  • Not appearing is not in the installed programs Panel > uninstall program list

I noticed a few weeks ago that most of my installed programs, especially those that I installed myself (but not all), do not arise in my part of the control panel uninstall.  They are all on my computer, and I can use them all.  I also noticed that most programs that do NOT are in the Program Files (x 86) folder on the C drive.  Programs presenting themselves seem to be ones that came installed on the computer when I bought it (this is not the case for each of them) and are in the regular Program Files folder on the C drive.  Any idea what the problem may be and how to fix it?

Here's what's coming (view, there is not date/time in the column "last used on '.)  These used is displayed).

    Hi GraceBowers,

The programs that you are not able to see under uninstall programs list?

    Method 1
You will not be able to see all the programs installed under Uninstall list of programs such as Internet Explorer, Windows Media player etc. If you want to see the location of the program, try the steps.
    a. right click on the program.
    b. click Properties.
    c. check the location of the program where it was installed.

    Method 2
I suggest you try the manual steps at the following link.

Add/Remove Programs displays installed the tool incorrectly (applies to Windows 7)
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/266668

Note: The manual steps will work even for Windows 7.

  • CS6 problem Uninstalling - does not appear on "programs and features".

.. or any other program uninstaller.

I could have tried remove manually, but the trial version installed clean - I could never use CS6.

I tried to uninstall programs and features, he said something along the lines of "sorry, we can not uninstall, but you want to remove this program from the list?" and I clicked Yes.

So now, I can not install Photoshop CS6 on my PC (windows 7 x 64) which is quite boring and sad for me.

There seems to be no solution to my problem, no uninstall program shows CS6 on its list, there are uninstall in program folder either.

It seems that I have scattered pieces of Photoshop all over my Pc and now I can't install it again (ever).

I don't know if deleting the files from registry would do, and even then, I don't know how.

I would be grateful if someone could help it, there seems to be other people with the same problem.

I entered that you have downloaded and installed Office 365 Pro as your school provided, but were not able to connect to it.

You had an Office 2007 and installed server and works very well.

You have tried to uninstall the Office 365 and she first appeared a box, but you can't remember what he said but there are 2 options to uninstall the program, you chose option 1 and click on accept.  The Microsoft office program is still on your computer, it will never delete/uninstall, and you tried to wait for a day with the computer.  You tried to restart. You tried closing and starting the backup computer, but whenever the program is still there and if you then try to uninstall again and it won't let you do something, when you double-click on the program and click the button to uninstall the following message appears "Please wait until that the current program is finished uninstalling or change'

First, I opened the Task Manager.

Select the Office 365 and force them to leave the process.

Then I reboot in safe mode and start the uninstall of Office 365.
