uninstalled wrong progam and now file Associations won't work

I have unintalled accidentally the wrong program

None of the icons windows none work as now, windows does not know which all created program shortcuts

What should I do?

yer, problem, I wanted to uninstall something else, wasn't paying attention and not unhooked the bad program...

but know now what it was

Not more than we have seen what you have so far.  I think that our surveillance on you must have been down... :-)

What is the files in question file extensions or even a description of what you expect from these files to look like when they open?

This would give some suspicion.

If not - use system restore and try to return to a time before all this "went wrong"...
