Unit will stop dying just after removing the base

My Palm continues to falter after that I loaded and synchronized it.  Can you replace the batteries on the devices?

Try a search on google for "Battery Palm T3" and you will find several places that sell a replacement battery for the T3 and include instructions for replacement.

If you don't want to do it yourself, I would go around (again, google is your friend, 'palm t3 repair' or the glance at the research of battery to see if the places that sell batteries also offer installation services).  I would bet that these types of places will be much cheaper than to go through Palm, since this unit is out of warranty and you should pay $199 to fix it through this page: http://kb.palm.com/wps/portal/kb/na/tungsten/t3/unlocked/supportservices/page_en.html

P.S. I'm moving this to the Board, also.

  • Satellite A55-S1065 - after removing the battery, BIOS ask me password

So, something happened yesterday, and it seems to me that it is very strange.
I have a portable Satellite A55-S1065. And while I was with power point, the
computer crashes. In the midst of my confusion, I decided to delete
the battery just to make him stop.

So I did it and plugged it again
and I tried to turn on the computer. Now, the bios ask me a password,
but I've no idea what password it is that. Can someone help me solve this problem?
IM really desperate to find a solution to this since this computer contain
    many of my works.

    Thank you very much.

    > After removing the battery, BIOS ask me password
I know it may seem silly now, but I never heard of something like that. I use laptop for a long time and I had the experience with many others and strange question, but something like that, never.

Problem is that we are dealing here in the public forum and BIOS password is a very sensitive area and very important security feature, so we can not write here about some illegal ways how you can remove the BIOS password.

If there is no way to start your laptop, I recommend you contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help.
    I'm sorry. :(

I currently store my pictures on and an external hard drive.  Lightroom 6 was not able to find the picture momentarily files.  I inserted an external Flash DRIVE after removing the hard drive and the computer renamed the stick with the same drive letter that has been designated by Lightroom to store my photos.  I could go into my Windows 10 and reset the player to the letter that Lightroom has given at the beginning of the external hard drive.   However, I know this can happen again, if I connect any stick USD or another device, while the external hard drive is not connected to my laptop.   I found the information that I can do the new designation of the final drive by choosing a letter it is 1/2 way or higher in the alphabet.   I would like to turn an external hard drive on a strong letter, warns we hope this previous problem.   My question is, if I already have a lot of pictures on this external hardrive with the designation of the current drive, how it becomes a higher letter and have 6 Lightroom recognizes files, now under the new designation of drive letter without having to go to each photo individually and manually force Lightroom 6 find each photo.  It would take more time than I'd like to lose.  Is there a way to get just 6 Lightroom to recognize the new disk designation has changed and is able to find all of the existing files?

I have read the ADOBE LightRoom 6 manual and seem not to be able to find anything on how to do it.

    Any help would be welcome.

    Thank you!

So in Windows, you can select a drive like q letter (or any other letter you want only towards the end of the alphabet)

Then in Lightroom, you can reconnect to the photos on q: the following instructions (see specifically 4 Figure and related text)

  • missing hal.dll message after removing the hard drive

Original title:Ok, I had the same problem on my hard drive missing hal.dll. My question is what windows xp writes the cmos on my computer?

OK, I had the same problem on my hard drive missing hal.dll. My question is what windows xp writes the cmos on my computer? The reason why I ask, is that I physically removed the hard drive from the computer and then start the computer I get the same message hal.dll lack. Since the hard drive is not installed, the only place where this message comes's cmos or bios of the computer.
I know it seems odd, but I couldn't believe it when I saw it after removing the hard drive. It used to be with older computers and Windows 95 or 98 when you took a hard drive that wasn't working and installed with one that works from a different computer, you could swap out and boot the computer and make a few changes to some drivers if you.

So what is windows xp write to the memory cmos on my computer?

    > Ok, I had the same problem on my hard drive missing hal.dll.

The same as what? If you reference another thread, please include a link to it.

    > My question is what windows xp writes the cmos on my computer?

It is not write anything for her at all.

    > Lack of the reason why I ask this is that I physically removed the hard drive from the computer and then start the computer I get the same message hal.dll.

I think that you're wrong. I would like to say two things happening:

    1. you have more than one hard drive and the problematic drive was not removed, or

    2. you deleted something other than a hard drive.

Do you have a CD in your CD drive by chance?

What is the brand and model of your PC? Are you able to get into the BIOS?

  • A740 - remove the Base cover

    Hello

I am trying to remove the cover of a model A740, but it seems virtually impossible. The coverage seems to be one piece and will be simply not to remove. Equipment, manual, in this case, doesn't give me all the tracks. Someone at - he had luck with this and that could possibly help?

    Thank you

    Petter

    Problem solved!

You must remove the rubber feet on the base. Below, you will find the 4 remaining screws that must be removed before you can remove the base of the cover.

You can use a small screwdriver to lift loose rubber feet. They will be set to the base once you are finished.

Unfortunately, the answer is no, you cannot remove the base. It is affixed permanently on the computer chassis. However, you can find third-party wall brackets. For example, https://www.ergotron.com/portals/0/html/AppleAdapter/VESAguide2.html
