WRT610N - Incorrect password or unknown username question
I have the router connected to WD My Book 1 TB HD for a few weeks with no problems. Now, it requires that I manually connect to the drive mapped to the HD access. Have reset to the factory settings and remappe by car, but every time that I reboot I get the error message "Incorrect password" when I try to access the mapped drive. Any thoughts on how I can get the drive mapped to remember the login and the password? Operating system is Windows XP Home edition.

East - Windows Defender play well with TB?
In response to my post on the messages arriving who were empty topics and dates of 1969, someone suggested that I excluded the folder with my profile from scan by Windows Defender in 8.1.
I tried this and it didn't work at first but now with TB 31.0 I don't have a weird message with subject no. when I < there messages > on a single message.
I am very uncomfortable on the do not scan mail entering and would like to hear what others think about it.

That said, you should always use your brain before opening an attachment. Do not click on attachments from unknown or questionable source. -

Use a browser filter and pop-up Blocker
Do not open not attached to the e-mail addresses that you do not recognize.
Install the security updates as soon as they are available
Find out more about what threats are common and active.
Indeed, use your own brain as the anti-virus filter.
Follow that advice and in MOST cases, you will be fine and don't risk your Mac to the potential of Trojans, malware or viruses.If you need some basic antivirus protection which will be invasive on the Mac OS X system, buy and install

Low yield after Win7Pro dv5-1125nr install possibly due to driver problems?
After installing win7pro on dv5-1125nr with 2.1 for AMD turion g RM72 only get 1.9 cpu on the performance of the game.
Active Device Manager and get the following:
1 (yellow bubble) unknown unknown device Device under other devices.
Location: On bridge PCI standard ISA
The drivers for this device are not installed (code28)
There is no driver selected for the item or a set of device information
you click on set to update driver and could not find
2. the unknown device (question mark bubble) in the other devices section
Location: On UMBus enumerator
No device installed for this device driver

Thanks, that did it. The CPU score rose to 4.9 and the total score of experience went to 4.1.
Items not identified in Device Manager disappeared will receive loaded the drivers for the infra-red controller and the modem, neither of which I used anyway.

CLAD/CLD/PMC and renewal questions
Im not sure where to post this?
Well, I was finally convinced and a little forced to try to assure me. Have always been a stubborn but on this subject, but I guess that's the way it goes - beeing a consultant. Ive read through all - CLAD, CLD and CLA.
But if Im going to certify I would and try to CLA (just becaurse I am a bastard of stubbern), actually more personal Im interested in the topics and requirements of CLA than the rest and felt more comfortable with them. Now I read that taking CLA you need a CLD, and to take the CLD, you must have DRESSED.
1. -why is this? As a guy who lives on the contracts on time will be quite expensive? How much does it cost? and how long will take this assessment?
- 2 plated RCA, I take it online? "Pearson view", it says I have to choose a company from here to Oslo where Im going to take it.
- 3 also another question, if you finally have the CLA, you should also re-eval your CLD and CLA after two years (both) or only the CLA? and how much it cost and do you need to use a whole day to re-eval, or a renewal more as a CLAD?
- 4 also in regards to the CLD, see examples and stuff like that, Im afraid that I will not be finished with it, mainly becaurse all examples show a program with only a certain time-simple loop. I'm at least going to have several modules (completely overkill for the applet, also to all the own errorhandle module and other things), even though most of them hold so much code, it's the right way to create a program you can actually add new features to (which is also totally different the existing program) without having to re - edit; creation of spagetti or not understandable disorder (have seen pretty unique all in programs of loops with a simple state machine and the structure of an event, which proved to be a mess completely after a few years with a few improvements here and there (well it keeps me alive as a consultant
).) I am used in small projects (such as examples for the CLD Exam) to use my own application with modules/structures model I created previously, totally exaggerated to have for applications Minies, but it works better, less consuming and is a LDO application you are familiar with. etc. Now for me to use this, but Im going to worry I won't be finished in time since I arrived to set up the structures and typedefs of 0 (I guess that the CLD Exam time will be 1 hour, planning, 2.5 hours of programming). Your questions:
(1) examinations rely on each other. This isn't review CLA itself that makes you a CLA, it's all the way to get it. And all tests have different requirements also. The price of Norway is he in NOK: CLAD: 929 - CLD: 2099, - and CLA:2099,-. How long it takes depends on when you get the investigation on each exam and your schedule.
(2) you can take the CLAD to Pearson VIEW in one of the places that they list. Other tests should be done at OR.
(3) simply re-eval latest or highest certification, you have, so hopfully CLA then. If you miss to re-eval, you'll have to start CLAD.
(4) for both the CLA and CLAD, you have 4 hours of time to do. You get different scores, so in summary, build you an overall score. For example, who meets the requirements, so that the application runs as it should get a score, to keep the style guidelines you get a score, documentation and so on.

What is the unknown user with a red question mark next to it.

It is quite normal to have tags to users that may have existed in the past, files. They have no effect unless there is a corresponding account. What counts is what the user accounts exist on your computer. Have you checked those?

USB controller: unknown device next to a yellow question mark
Hello
Middle of last year had a system has crashed, rebuilt and has worked well since then.
Done only USB connections since then has been with my tablet to transfer images.
Before the crash, he worked well with connection to the solution Conon EOS Utility Desktop software to transfer images from the camera to the PC.

Legitimate question of phishing, clicked on a link in an unknown e-mail that led me to the site.
OT: Question of Phishing.
So I see messages similar to this, but they are all a little different from mine. I received this email from the team Microsoft account saying there was a possible security problem and I had to change my password. I clicked on the link, because it's been a long week and I'm a fool. I realized immediately after it WAS weird and he looked up and found stories about the phishing scam.
But the thing is the link took me to the microsoft Web site. I changed my password. They send me a verification code. I went back on the Google site and it looked exactly the same. I logged in using the new password and it worked.
I was at least smart enough to use a password that I don't use for anything else. But I panicked a bit because I clicked on a link in a bizarre e-mail that led me to the legitimate site. Any suggestions on what I should do?

Make sure that your antivirus didn't pick up any new virus or malware on your system. The system may have brought you to a Microsoft Web site, but installed a keylogger.
Using a PC clean and safe, change your password of Microsoft to stay safe. Use a program like Windows Security Essentials and Malwarebytes to scan your PC.

'unknown' and big question mark on my network card

I get an 'unknown' with a big blue? on my map network between my computer and the router.
I already did the following:

Reset router password
unchecked some v6 button
not all users connected
just abot all I've read about this.
It will go away for a period short and low and behold he came back.

HeI had the same big blue mark on several of my machines and know that the bonjour service is not installed on any of them - all clean installed Win7, Win2k8R2 and Win7Home. The only thing they had in common was RealTek network cards (or at least that's how they are marked in Device Manager).
If your NETWORK card is a RealTek PCie or similar, you could try going to Device Manager and click on the Advanced tab of the RealTek network device. There you should be able to navigate down to an entry labeled "priority and VLAN. If activated, try to define this VLAN enabled. I could do this fix on 3 of my machines with RealTek NIC and it seems that the problems of mapping network disappeared.
[I'm not saying that the bonjour service is not causing a? mark for others, but I got no Hello on my machines.] The fix above eliminated the? all cards on all the machines in my network].

I would rename this folder as TomTom using rename in Thunderbird. The program does not allow me to do what saying me that I already have a folder with that name. But I did not. Surely the ASCII for 'o' and 'o' are different. Someone knows a workaroun

When I print an email it comes out very low. Where can I change the settings for the font size?
When I print an email it comes out very small and almost unreadable. If I use IE I do not seem to have the same problem. Certainly there must be somewhere I can fix the size of the font that prints. It is fine when I read it on the screen.
