Unknown device showing in DHCP for WRT400N

Hi, I have the WRT400N router with the latest firmware. Recently, I noticed a camera in my DHCP I do not recognize. It is not peripheral I own (trust me, I built up my brain and confirmed) as he shows as an Acer pc. However, I can't ping the IP address. I rebooted my router several times thinking maybe it's an old device connected but saved in memory but it comes back. I think maybe this is someone hijacking my Internet, but not sure. I am using WEP security, but it shows a connection to the local network, which is strange for a wireless device. The only hard cables pc is my HP. Suggestions before I start having to redo all my SSID and security type/passwords? Not that it makes a difference, but I don't broadcast my SSID, but know there are programs that still find them. Thanks in advance for any advice/suggestions!

Well Yes, already tried Mac filtering, but that only works for wireless devices and like I said it shows as LAN. However, thanks for your comments

  • A single device showing on MAX for PCI-6259

    Hello

I'm having a problem seeing all the channels available in a card PCI-6259. In MAX, the card is correctly classified NI PCI-6259, however in the tree view of the devices only one device is indicated 'Dev1' - where is "Dev0?

Two devices used to be, but we gave up and I don't know why.

I tried to reconnect the cables from the Commission on the two connector blocks has BNC-2090, or tried to reinstall the card of the Manager of Windows devices & MAX, but only 'Dev1' appears after you have reinstalled.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Simone

Peripheral will appear as a single device in "Devices and Interfaces" little matter how many connectors they have. (it's a device to the driver OR as it appears as a Windows device) The second connector simply implies that, when you run a program or a test Panel, you can now select more channels in the drop down menu to have and ao. You should be able to address all the channels of the AO in the same test Panel.

  • 802.11 wireless pen drive recognized as 'unknown device' under USB. Help, please.

Specs: Windows XP Home Edition version 2002, Service Pack 2. This is the version of XP OEM. Processor Intel pentium 4 2.00 GHz. 1.50 GB of ram.

After an unknown incident (i suspect headphones usb), my wireless USB key has ceased to be recognized as such and become everything simply an "unknown device" under "USB bus controllers. Although windows tells me there is no drivers for the device installed, the wireless pen drive is signed with the Publisher of Microsoft Windows with a version of driver 5.1.2600.0, Microsoft being the driver provider.

Compound number, the 802.11 device is listed under "Other devices" when 'show hidden devices' is selected and the variable "devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices" entered "environment variables", but is washed out-showing that the system thinks that the device is not currently connected to the computer. In addition, under details, it displays error code 45: the device is not connected to the computer. And it is. It's very hip. as cement and connected tape.

I plugged the wireless key USB in all the usb ports on the computer, every time with her recognized as 'unknown device' under usb controllers. I entered in the safe mode, uninstalled all the usb controllers and root usb hub drivers and let windows the respawn after reboot in order to solve the problem. No dice.

I also plugged the USB in a different desktop and it works like a charm, so the issue is not with the hardware.

Clearly there that a conflict with drivers/registry/God knows what, but I'm at a loss. Somehow, windows has taken its decision and the player associated with "unknown device" and I see no way to make the system "forget" that the USB was never connected. How can I remove the ghost driver "unknown device" manually or force windows to re-associate the key wireless USB with "other devices" (with the yellow? mark) and not this useless usb driver "unknown device"?

    Thanks for the help!

try to run the following tools in series:

    1. http://support.Microsoft.com/GP/hardware_device_problems
    2. http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/817900 (Microsoft Fix it 50052)

I suggest you uninstall the drivers for Bluetooth, fingerprint usb controllers and the sensor. Then reboot the computer this should install it the appropriate drivers for it.

    Here's how you can do:

    1. click on the Start button > run > type devmgmt.msc and press ENTER.
    2. locate each USB device, the after another and then right-click on it.
    3. Select the option to uninstall.
    4 restart your computer.

Alternatively, you can try to install the driver chipset for your computer.

    Hope this information is useful.

    Hello j_waver0000,

Thank you for using the Microsoft Windows Vista Forums.

I would like more information on what brand and model of mouse you are using?  I know that you listed Trackball, but I show several manufacturers using the name of trackball, including Microsoft.

Have you informed you have uninstalled the mouse drivers, have you done this in Device Manager?   "Click Start-> type Device Manager" in the search field-> select Device Manager-> select mice and other pointing devices-> with the right button of your device, and then select update.

If the device is already updated and then right-click and select "Uninstall".  You may be prompted to restart, otherwise right click again on your device and select "install".

If you have a Microsoft Mouse, please visit this link for additional information.  Please let us know status.  Thank you!

Hi, in my lenovo G450 - with Chipset Intel - 3 GB of RAM (no external graphics card),

    Device type: Other Devices

    Manufacturer: unknown

Location: On Microsoft ACPI - controller embedded compatible.

I installed all the drivers and that you have not installed the external devices such as USB etc.

I don't get what device it could be.

Network controller shows also with question mark, even after installing Broadcom Ethernet Driver for XP.

Kindly help me what to do?

Is there any order, where we need to install the drivers.

Re-install the drivers ethernet and power management.

  • Dell Support download has some drivers for old Dimension 2400, responsible of what was there, but still have an unknown device

Hi, hard drive is dead on Dell dimension 2400, re-installed with existing win XP (SP3).  Another computer used to go to Dell support and download line that few drivers I could find for the serial number.  (Broadcom Integrated NIC, graphics controller, Modem) Drivers installed and I still have an unknown device (point yellow question mark for unknown sandwiched between the network adapters and Ports).  Wired Ethernet worked before hard drive failure - properties for Broadcom 440 x say ' device working properly ", but it will not pick up a DHCP IP.  Set the IP to the network router and can now same URL and local peripheral ping like www.google.com , but cannot get to internet with IE explore manually.

Is there any other software drivers that are found in Dell archive somewhere I need to load to remove the unknown device?

Any idea this device might be hiding between the "network adapters" and "Ports (Com and LPT)?  Appreciate any help.  Thanks, Dave

  • Satellite M50D - A - 10 L - pilot missing for unknown device

You just bought a Satellite M50D - A - 10 L and after 1 week, the HARD drive failed. Of course, I had to replace on my spending, because the guarantee would be in about 2 weeks, which was too long to wait for me.
In any case, I also lost the pre-installed Windows 8.1, but is not a tragedy, because I reinstalled it and everything works well.
The problem I have I have one of the pilots is not recognized by the "Device Manager". The device is called 'Device ACPI'. Any idea which driver missing is all about?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

PS: Do not know how to attach a screenshot of "Device Manager" with missing driver...

Have you tried to identify the unknown device, through the identification of the seller and device?

Looking around it can be an IMEI chip but I was not able to confirm the DEV ID of any of our sources generally. Does anyone have an idea what it is and where I could get the 64 bit Windows 7 drivers?

To my knowledge, the 8086 Dev_ID belongs to Intel
So there must some Intel driver.

  • ProBook 4740 s: driver for unknown device (Probook 4740 s WIN10)

    Hello

I am updating a Probook s 4740 to 10 windows, but I can't find the driver for an unknown device:

    USB\VID_138A & PID_003D\0030EACE788E

    Can someone help me?

    Hello:

I would like to try the W8.1 fingerprint sensor driver...

This package contains the driver that allows the validity fingerprint sensor in the notebook models that are running a supported operating system. The fingerprint sensor analyzes fingerprints for use with biometric security applications.

    FTP://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp66501-67000/sp66915.exe

The above driver has support for the hardware ID you have posted.  I don't know whether or not this will work on W10.

    [Validity.NTamd64]
    % USB\vfs491. DeviceDesc % = USB_Install, USB\VID_138A & PID_003D

Alternatively, you can try to install the driver manually if auto installation does not work.
