  If you close your file without saving the changes, a version of your file is kept temporarily so that you can get it back when you reopen the file.

  New files

  If you work in a new file, or a temporary file of Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, as an attachment in Outlook and then close it without saving the changes, follow these steps to open the last project of automatic registration:

  1. Open Office 2010 applications you were using.
  2. Click the file tab.
  3. Click on the latter.
  4. Click The retrieve unsaved Documents if you're in Word 2010, recover unsaved workbooks so you are in Excel 2010 or recover unsaved presentations if you are in PowerPoint 2010.

  5. Your saved drafts folder is open in a new window. Select the file and then click Open.
  6. In the bar of the company at the top of the file, click on record under to save your file on your computer.

  1. Open the Office 2010 application you were using.

  3. Click the file tab.
  4. Click Info.
  5. Click Manage Versions.

  I want to be able to apply a conversion to an open document table, through an FDK.

  Is it possible to call the command "Structure current document...". "the client and pass a filepath, open the document Conversion table, and that applies to the current document?

  I want to be able to pass the path to the command automatically without displaying the dialog box.

  Hi David,

  Yes. It is in the chapter of the FDK ref called "Call Clients shipped with FrameMaker." The table of conversion process is done by another client API called generator of Structure, and you will need to make calls to it. However, in the last ref FDK I, I think that the syntax in the documentation is wrong. I'll copy and paste parts of the device below, replacing it with the syntax that I know works. Note that you must have all documents open with their identity papers seized... you can't just send a path.

  To perform most operations with customers of FrameMaker, you perform a sequence of several
  Calls F_ApiCallClient().

  To structure a document, use the following sequence of calls from F_ApiCallClient():

  F_ApiCallClient ("Structure Generator", "INPUTDOCID objectID");
  .. .or objectID is the ID of the input document.

  F_ApiCallClient ("Structure Generator", "RULEDOCID objectID");
  .. .or objectID is the ID of the document table rule (conversion).

  F_ApiCallClient ("Structure Generator", "OUTPUTDOCNAME path");
  .. where path is the full path of the output document. This command is optional. If you do
  not specify a path, the leaves of the unsaved document structure generator and open.

  F_ApiCallClient ("Structure Generator", "StructureDoc");
  ... This call tells the structure generator to generate the structure using the parameters provided by the
  calls listed above.

  KFN, is again Russ. Thus, for example, to make the call where send you the number of the document that you want to the structure, you would do something like:

• No Microsoft or file with the Agency in support of the request

  Just to lose a document not saved in Microsoft Word after an accident - documents previously only saved have been recovered. Tried to save the unsaved document, but when I get to my Application Support folder, there is no record there for Microsoft or Office. I use Microsoft Office 365 on a MBP 2015 of the retina with Yosemite 10.10.5. No idea if I'm looking in the wrong place for my temporary files? There is something very wrong with my version of Word?

• Black screen HP Elitebook 850 after the mode 'sleep'

  I have a HP Elitebook 850, which is about 3 weeks old. It is running Windows 8.1 with most of the HP software, which is available for this model, installed.

  Once the laptop goes into mode 'sleep' may not wake up for some reason any. The screen remains black and seeing everything seems normal. The only thing to do is either ctr + alt + delete to restart or shutdown forced by using the power button.

  Any ideas?

  Has exactly the same problem.  Called HP support.  They said that I needed to downgrade the video driver I was using.

  Specifically they asked me to check the version of the video driver first:

  1. Start screen, type "Device Manager" and then click to open Device Manager.
  2. In Device Manager, expand "graphics cards".  There were two shown:
     Radeon (TM) AMD HD 8500/8700 M M
     Intel(r) HD Graphics Family
  3. They asked me to double click on the graphics card Intel.  The dialog box properties open;
  4. On the tab driver properties dialog box, check the Version of the driver.  Mine was 10.18.10.3379.

  HP support and then asked me to download an older version of the driver, 10.18.10.3316.  Here's how:

  (1) on the laptop in question go to hp.com;

  (2) in the Help menu of hp.com, click Download drivers;

  (3) search by product: Enter 'Elitebook 850 G1' and press Go.

  (4) multiple results will come to the top, select the one that says 'HP EliteBook 850 G1 Base model Notebook PC';

  (5) to select the operating system: "Windows 8.1 (64-bit);

  (6) from the Index to download, select 'drivers - Graphics ';

  (7) tΘlΘcharger "Driver Intel video and control panel (International)" version 10.18.10.3316, November 15, 2013.  It's a big download, 158 MB.

  Once the download is complete, double-click the downloaded file to install it.  If you get a dialog box warning you install an earlier version of the driver that is currently installed, click Yes to continue.

  After you have installed the version 10.18.10.3316 driver, I restarted the laptop.

  To test whether the fix had worked I open a text editor and entered the text without saving it (it was to see if the unsaved document would still exist after that the laptop computer woke up from his sleep).  I then put the laptop to sleep by closing the form.  When I opened it again the light behind the power button has been slowly pulsed on and outside and the screen was black.  Based on the presented power button the laptop out of fashion 'sleep' and return to the lock for recording screen in.  Once connected, I found that the unsaved document was still open for the laptop had obviously just slept and rather than restarted rewoken.

• Touchpad disabled suddenly on dv7

  Sometimes when I work on my laptop I'll hear a strange tone and a light box appears on my screen with a picture of my touchpad with a diagonal red line through it.   At that time my touchpad is useless: I can't move my mouse at all, nor can I right or left click. My keyboard still works well. I have to close my computer to get my mouse etc to answer once again, but, in doing so, I may lose unsaved documents.  Why this height and how can I solve this problem in the future?

  First, download the latest installer driver Synaptics, on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  Then, open windows control panel, open programs and features, right click on the entry "Synaptics Pointing Device Driver" and choose uninstall.

  When this has completed, restart the laptop.

  When windows has completely recharged, open your download folder, click with the right button on the setup of Synaptics and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When this has completed, restart the computer again.

  When windows is loaded, you may need to reconfigure some of the parameters clickpad - a guide on this can be found on the following document.

  We just purchased and installed Adobe Creative Cloud for our shop. Everything went well, but its use is not. Everyone knows these issues?

  • Preview of contours/does not dynamically. (without acivating a new tool or zoom in/out)

  • Fit artboard in window does not dynamically.

  • Separations that preview does not dynamically.

  • Cannot exit with the open document.

  UPDATE:

  Possible OS problem? Tests with OSX 10.7.5 seems to work very well. Why OS x 10.6.8 use Adobe Application Manager and OSX 10.7.5 use Adobe Creative Cloud as gateways Sync and connect on CC? Unable to synchronize the settings less illustrator preferences in OS x 10.6.8.

  Make sure that Tahoma and Verdana are active in your system OS x 10.6.8 fonts!

• Extensions without (visible) user interface?

  Hi all

  Question: is it possible to have extensions without a user interface, or with a UI in option? I managed to come close to how it works, but it seems to stay just beyond my reach. It's using InDesign.

  What I want to achieve: I want the extension to work permanently, so he can listen for events from documentAfterSave even when the Panel does not display and I want to have the status of 'visible panel' persist between sessions of the user.

  The first thing is to get the extension to load on startup of the application.

  In the Panel of lifecycle in the manifest Editor, I unchecked "AutoVisible" (do not know if this is important)

  Hi Kris,

  AutoVisible = false means that when this extension is loaded its user interface is not made visible, leaving that up to the extension. Generally, the panels must have AutoVisible = true so that when a user selects the Control Panel on the menu, they can be assured that it will be made visible immediately, it also ensures a correct behavior when the Panel is anchored or closed.

  So the question is how to solve your problem?

  I suggest this broke into two extensions, an extension that is a sign of vanilla and another modeless extension which is hidden and is waiting for events. The hidden, should start on applicationActivate, have AutoVisible = false and does not have a

  element in its manifest (so it does not appear in the window > Extensions). This hidden extension may then respond to the save event, it can also activate your Panel on the first launch.

  That works for your use cases?

  If the document has never been saved, there is nothing to recover. The exception is if the Word crashed, in which case there might be a file of ASR left; We should give this file the next time that you start Word.

• Using Framemaker, 2015, when editing, changes are NOT saved even after registration, including when you import new graphics.  Save, and then reopen the document and the old graphics are here and sometimes even old text.  Is this a known bug?

  1. open a document in FrameMaker 2015

  2. change the document

  3 save the document

  4 open new document.

  5. unsaved changes.

  Embarrassing especially when doing the import images, old we remains same after the new update.

  I think I have found workarounds to the question "documents must be registered before they can be merged" (no thank you lack of Adobe customer support):

  Solution #1

  My workflow template is to take pictures with my SLR and save on the memory in the form of RAW files, download the images on my PC, then open the RAW files in Adobe Camera Raw and then save the images to jpeg using PSE. I wasn't able to create Photomerge Panorama with jpeg images I've saved, but I was able to create Photomerge Panorama with the images I have saved IF I save as TIFF 8-bit files in EPS. A condition for this workaround was that I had to save the pictures at their original resolution and not at a reduced resolution.

  Solution #2

  If I have a right-click on an image and selected open with 14 and observed PES Editor (RGB/8) * to the right of the file changes its name, which means PSE think he has not saved to the file. The solution is to go to file-> Save-> Save (replace existing file-Yes)-> OK. You can then use this file and others you perform the same steps to create a Photomerge Panorama.

  The final document is a little drastic... Perhaps simply display an error message? In any case, you can do it like this, as a custom field validation script:

  Be aware that using this code will close the file without saving it, and the user will lose all unsaved data that they have entered.

• The owner of a document must be locked?

  As the owner of a document, I just changed when one of my co-authors connected to change.  I was immediately locked.  The current solution would be to edit offline, but I'm not a co-author, edition of version online while I'm editing offline.  There is too much possibility of error and conflict during reconciliation when I get back online.  Sounds confusing, but I think you get the idea.  There are two issues here as I see it: 1. as long as the owner of the document and who are already working online, shouldn't new arrival not be the one to be locked up until I finished?  2. When you connect to a common document that is already in use, the newcomer should not be notified that its already in use?

  (1) script is locked like that there are changes not saved in the document, as soon as the document is saved the lock is released. If you keep the document open and unsaved then the bolt is with you. Make sure that you put the auto save preference.

  (2) If you want to work offline, and you don't want your employees to work on the script while you are offline, make sure that while going offline, you lock all of your scripts. This option is given as you go offline.

• FM8: File always opens the unsaved changes

  I have a file in Framemaker 8 that always opens with "unsaved changes".  I save the file, the asterisk disappears, but the next time I open the file in the asterisk is.
