Update 05/21/2012 continues to repeat after succesful installed

Update returns constantly after successful installation. What is the problem with the update today. I go to successfully and updating Microsoft install, restart the computer. It is said correctly updates installed. After restarting, the taskbar icon is displayed again with the same updates and the microsoft site update tells me that I need the same updates again. I've updated 3 times and the icon is back. How can I get rid of this update

Hi AndreAbella7,

  • Disk defragmentation repeated after you install a Registry Cleaner program.

    Original title: Disk Defragmenter

    Hello.

    I use Windows XP Prof and IE 8.

    "After" install a Registry Cleaner program, a disk defragmentation task was executed, and he indicated that the volume needs to be defragmented. Subsequently, the task of disk defragmentation was performed again and he said that 'always' volume must be defragmented even if there is nothing to defragment (no red line showing).

    'Before' installing the program Registry Cleaner, disk defragmentation task was performed and she would declare that the volume needs to be defragmented. Subsequently, the task of disk defragmentation was performed again and he said that the volume was already defragmented (no red line showing).

    Why the registry cleaner would lead the program Defragmenter to 'think' that he needs to defragment even after this has been done (and no red line showing)?

    Thanks in advance.

    I will not bore to 'clear all' regularly because I can see the red error icon and the yellow warning icon clearly by scroll.

    Bottom line: Defrag works so I will continue to "analyze" and defragment every day when there are red lines in the graph, but not worthwhile to defragment a second time, unless the red lines still appear.

    Thank you 'a lot' to work on this issue with me - It is much appreciated.

  • Windows updates won't find updates for Office or any other Microsoft programs I installed and there is no option to enable it in Windows Update settings.

    OK, so I just had to re - install Windows 7 on my laptop due to a disk failure (Windows 7 Home Premium SP1) and hit a brick wall with trying to turn on Microsoft Updates instead of Windows updates.

    I try to click on the link "Learn more" on the bottom of the page to update on the line "Get updates for other products Microsoft." and it opens just a web page with a graphic telling me to open my Start menu and click on Windows updates.

    Catch 22 is that Windows Update has no options for anything other than Windows. He won't find the updates for the office or any of the other Microsoft programs I installed and there is no option to enable it in Windows Update settings.

    Exactly what I am missing, and where has Microsoft moved the activation of Microsoft Updates page too, because when I click on the link need me to http://www.update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/thanks.aspx?ln=en&&thankspage=5 that makes a whole lot of nothing.

    Thank you!

  • HP Pavilion 15 n208-tx restarts repeatedly after updated recent windows 8

    My laptop automatically installed the recent update of windows 8 at shutdown. After that, it is not start properly. It restarts several times only. A whole summer facing the similar problem. Please suggest.

    Thanks for the reply. !!

    I solved the problem myself.

    I was desperate to install update windows 8.1 KB 2919355 it offers a few extra features for users of keyboard and mouse. (I hate windows 8).

    After trying a few alternatives. I have factory rearm the system by taking the risk of losing a part stored personal data. (I lost the least that I used this laptop sparingly so far).

    After that reset facotry, I started to install windows first updates. All updates including KB 2919335 installed without any problem and the system worked very well.

    Then I started to install software such as Anti-Virus (Avast), video players and all the... (I restart the laptop after each installed software to find the bug)

    When I installed "Deamon Tools Lite", repeated the problem. So, I restored the system to the State before the installation of Daemon Tools Lite and now its works very well. !!

    Thus, the culprit was "Daemon tools lite".

  • Windows Update fails to install (code 80070002) repeatedly after following all of the recommendations

    As said in the title, my Windows Update no longer works. It says I have a download important (SP1), but will not be installed. Originally, it started downloading and was 6% before giving me the error code 80070002. After that, every subsequent attempt read Ko 0 / 0% and immediately gave the same error message. I tried to use Microsoft FixIt and following the instructions in the database. I also went through the answers to the question by others, after trying what worked in the case, mine is still not working. I get the same error code.

    I'll try to manually install service packs. Even if it is successful, however, I would still of course my updater in working condition.

    Edit: try to install SP1 resulted in the same error code. The tag on the subject led me to download the system update tool. Any other input?

    Try these steps to remedy:

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
  • Downloaded and installed but still get a message to this update for Microsoft 2012 updated 4 Package redistributable Visual C++ (KB3119142)
    I downloaded and installed the update for Microsoft 2012 updated 4 Package redistributable Visual C++ (KB3119142) 6 times, but MS update that always shows a significant update. Is there somewhere I can download this and then install it manually? What should I do for this update recognized as installed in windows 8?
    Neha, thanks for the reply.
    I found this solution and it worked to prevent the download of appearing whenever I start my computer. This repair may not solve the problem but downloading this update again and again is only adding to the problem. Maybe Microsoft will offer a real solution soon.  I looked in my update history and you can see all the times that I downloaded this so I hope that this update is actually doing what he should do.
    Here is how I solved the problem (installation repeated 3119142 KB):
    1. go in Control Panel > programs > programs and features
    2 right-click "redistributable Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 (x 64) - 11.0.61030.
    3. Select 'Edit' and select 'Repair' and then after that repair is done restart the PC
    After the reboot, repeating installs is more took place.
    (Note: Although this solution solves the problem, the 'real' fix will likely run by Microsoft (via an update update) in the near future.)
    My playlists on apple music continues to repeat the first progress song and custom to the next song
    Hi, tabby1008!
    Thanks a lot for the use of Community Support from Apple! After reading your post, I understand that when you listen to music from Apple, one song keeps repeating instead of skip to the next track, when it finishes. I wouldn't listen to the same song over and over again when Apple's music catalog is so big, so I'm happy to help you!
    First of all, check that the "repeat" feature is not enabled. The following article gives some information about the feature 'repeat' and what to look for.
    Use of music music Apple in the app
    The "Shuffle and repeat your music" section provides this information:
    Shuffle or repeat your music
    Press on at the bottom of the playback screen to mix songs in a playlist or album. Alternatively, you can ask Siri to scramble your music.
    Type once to play entire playlist or album looped or twice to repeat a song.
    When activated, the icon for a repetition will be "BOLD". If this is the case, type just the icon to activate the recurrence at the wide. The next page of this article will show you where these buttons:
    If the repeat function is turned off, try closing the music app using the steps described in the article below.
    Force a nearby application on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
    Once the music app is closed, press the icon to open it again and then try to play your songs. If one is always repeat, restart the device. Instructions on the way can be found in the following article.
    Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
    Good listening!
  • High CPU use/Slow Performance after you install the updates of Windows
    I run Vista Business 32-bit.
    After you install many Windows updates in the last few days, I've known very slow performance after the system worked for a while. Resource monitor shows 70-100% CPU usage, even when you run all the apps (that I know of). This makes everyhting grind to a halt, same trip that the mouse jerky movements. I ran several complete system with McAfee anti virus scans and not found problems (using the latest software). The detail showed the so-called ", PID4 NT kernel and system" using 18% avialable CPU capacity, but this process is not always shown to use much more capacity when the slow performance occurs. Nothing else don't use much capacity CPU, I see.
    More recently, the capacity of the CPU became crazy, jumping from zero to 100% usage in a back a suite oscillation. When I shut down and restart, performance improves, but erodes little by little over time.
    Is this a sign of a virus, or is it a problem with the recent Windows updates or some kind of conflict with my software such as McAfee? How do I tell me what to do? Anyone else have this problem with the recent Windows updates?
    Help!  Thank you!!
