Update CC installed an older version of node.js

I run Secunia on my computer that informs me of the outdated software. Recently I have updated manually Node.js of Joyent to version 10.33 to 12.6 in Dreamweaver and the AI.  Today CC ran an update and has replaced the most recent versions of node.js, again with the old versions.  The old version is necessary to run these programs?

Cherisx1,

If you have the latest version installed, you don't need older versions. You can uninstall older versions.

  • How can I install an older version of Aperture?

    Hi all

    I use a MacBook Pro mid-2010.

For some time it has been my main work laptop and I was always updated to the latest versions of OS X.

My hobby is photography so in 2012, I also bought Aperture and I also kept up to date.

However, after upgrade to OS X El Capitan (10.11 I think) my laptop performance gradually declined and he became very slow. I also bought a new laptop and my Mac has become my second laptop.

I decided to go back to the roots and install OS X Lion on it (10.7.5).

However when I try to download and install the latest version of the opening (3.6), I get an error message that OS X 10.10 is necessary...

Can someone tell me how can I find and install an older version of Aperture (for example the 3.4.5 which I think is the last version that supports the 10.7 Lion)?

    Thank you!

You still have the original installer DVD for Aperture?

You need a full installer for Aperture 3. If you bought version Aperture box with a serial number, use this DVD.  Then update to this version of the opening page of Apple Aperture download 3.4.5 update 3.4.5

There is no way to download a complete Installer for Apple Aperture, because the opening is is sold and implemented to the point. The only that downloadable version is 3.6 since the AppStore opening, if you already updated to this version of the AppStore. Then you can reinstall 3.6 of the opening of the history of your purchases (fourth tab from the AppStore). Download page for Apple on the supprt page has only updated for the opening, but not full installers.

If you do not have a separate installation program use your Time Machine backups and go back as I have the time of your days of Lion, if the backup history is going well. Restore an older version of the opening of the Applications folder. New versions of opening 3.3 is self contained and you can simply copy them into the Applications folder.

  • Install the older version before the upgrade version

I have a similar situation but different problem: my iMac crash and had a new hard drive replaced and need to reinstall Adobe CS2 to upgrade to CS5 (version bought several years ago). Problem is now impossible to install CS2 on the new Mac OS X EL Capitan version 10.11.5. You have to install CS2 in order to continue to install CS5. The CS2 DVD cannot start the installation! He said that the PowerPC applications are more supported. But I bought the CS2 and CS5 (improved version) with licenses valid and authentic. How to solve this problem? Help, please. Thank you.

You need not install the older version to install/activate the upgrade.  All updates are stand-alone versions.  When you go to activate the version upgrade, that he determines that there is no version older than qualification and asking you to identify the old version and provide its serial number as proof that you are eligible to use the upgrade.

  • Prompting to update the drivers with older versions of HP

My HP Support Assistant gave me a notice this morning that I had updates that should be installed.  I opened it and tried to install the recommended updates as I normally would without having to pay a lot of attention to what the updates were.  When I received a message 'Complete', I assumed that all installed successfully.  However, the Support assistant always recommend to install the same 4 updates.

I then ran that Windows update to see if it would pick up the same recommended driver updates, and recommended update Realtek... that I then downloaded and installed successfully. (screenshot below)

I rebooted the PC and returned to the HP Support Assistant to check updates again see if the Realtek update would be absent.  But he was always showing as an update with the same other 3.  I tried to download/install each update individually.  Updates failed, and the Synaptics Touchpad driver gave me a warning that says «a newer version is installed...» ', so that updating technically has not failed, but support assistant tells me that it needs to be updated.  See screenshots.

Also note that I checked that my version of HP Support Assistant is the latest version available.

I thought that my next step would be to try the HP support website to see if the updates can be installed successfully there.  I ran the scan of web on my laptop and got the following results.  Note that the update Realtek is here for a reason, while it still appear in the support Wizard

If the release date is correct for each recommended, and then for some reason any update I'm being invited to install older versions of the driver.  I tried to install each update anyway.  When you start the extraction of the file for each update, a guest would come in telling me that the files already existed (because I have probably installed these versions at the time where they were released).  I chose to replace files anyway.

I received a warning while doing the update Broadcom that says "OS not supported", so that the update failed.  And even once when installing the Synaptics Touchpad driver I got a warning that «a newer version is installed...» ', which suggests that, in fact, I was trying to install an older version of the driver.

Intel to date seemed to work, but it still shows as requiring updates when I perform another web analysis.

I hope someone can tell me what is happening.

    Hi Boss1022,

    Even if you have a recent version of HP Support Assistant, I would recommend probably uninstall and reinstall the latest version with a new download of;

    http://h18021.www1.HP.com/helpandsupport/HP-support-Assistant.html

What can happen, is that the HPSA has lost track of what drivers and updates are installed and which are the most common recommended, probably due to corruption in the databases it uses.  Uninstalling and reinstalling is the simplest solution.  You can find instructions to uninstall HPSA down Troubleshooting HP Support Assistant (Windows 7).

If this does not work, after back and we can get more involved solutions.

  • Flash player v10.02.159 installed - how can I install an older version?

Hi all, any help will be appreciated.

I've read all the relevent messages in this forum and I have tried the various suggestions. (used the Adobe uninstaller program, used the different packages on x 64 help page; clean installs and uninstalls with RevoUninstaller Pro) shockwave for Director is on Firefox, but wouldn't even download on IE. (I do not use it IE anyway, but...)

    I am running XP pro x 64. I have Firefox and Internet Explorer 8 32 bit v v3.6.16. I don't have 64-bit installed.

When I upgraded to v 10, it wouldn't install on a browser. The error message for the installer of Flash player 10.2 reads:

    Flash installer error.jpg

I'm also in Chrome. I have never updated the reader, to make it work there (thank God!) (There is no indication in the extensions folder)

I tried to install an older package, the flashplayer 9r280_win.exe and the Brothersoftdownloader_for_Adobe_Flashplayer. -clean installs and uninstalls each time., also with no luck.

Can someone tell me how to install an older version, until the 64-bit version works for me? Or - if there is a problem that has not been posted yet - I'm game to try.

    Ta

You can try if the MSI installer works best; Download from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html

If it is not the case, archived versions of FP are at http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html

  • Why firefox will let me install an older version of Flash?

I try to install Flash Player_10_plugin. Since I "upgraded" to the latest version of flash it crashes too. I downloaded the file, but when I try to download it, a pop up says I can't; that I need to download the latest version, which is exactly what I don't want. And Yes, I've read a few instructions, advice here but none helped. Any ideas or suggestions? Thank you.

This message is not Firefox, but rather Adobe.

Before you install this older version, uninstall your current version of Flash.

How to do a clean install of Windows XP

Start by changing the BIOS setting to start from the CD drive first.
    Then see below:

    Michael Steven: http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/cleanxpinstall.html
    more information: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/XPClean.htm
    and: http://www.theeldergeek.com/clean_installation_of_windows_xp.htm
    also: http://www.bootdisk.com/

Also, make sure you have the drivers you need for your mother, video card
    card, sound card, etc.
    Try Belarc Advisor: http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
He did a good job of providing a wealth of information, including key software codes
and you will need drivers for devices.

If you perform a clean installation on an existing PC which has XP already installed:
Check your code CD Key corresponds to what Belarc Advisor reports to your existing installation.
Note: Windows OEM installs usually come with a sticker on the PC or laptop and may not match the installed key factory.

Note: A number of vendors now supply restore CD or a restore hard disk partition
and, usually, do not provide a Windows XP CD.

  • do I have to uninstall a newer version of the effects of ater to install an older version of legacy

I have after effects CC 2015 in I want to install aclose effects Cs4

and I want to keep the two

    Help, please

Bob and Dave have already answered your question as it was initially posted - no, you don't have to uninstall a newer version to install an older version.

Regarding your question - tracking only it won't not cause damage to your PC, at least not to install any piece of software legitimately acquired would be.  However, things can go wrong with any installation - so backup first.

Dave pointed out something important - that CS4 is 32-bit, then make sure that your computer meets its needs.

    What are CS4 system requirements?

Let me google that for you
