  This problem occurs because the backup process detects that the system drive is dirty.

  Windows Vista backup always includes the system as part of the backup drive. If the system drive is dirty, the backup process skips the system drive, and no snapshot of the system drive is created. Therefore, the backup cannot locate a snapshot of the system drive later, and the error occurs.

  To resolve this problem, run the disk check to fix the error on the system drive. To do this, follow the steps mentioned in the article below:

  Reboot the system by pressing the buttons OK, Cancel, black and color down at the same time and turn the printer off.

  Keep hold the buttons until the printer stops and back on the tour.

  The system needs to self calibrate now (it may take 5-10 minutes - do not interrupt)

  After the printer has been silent for a few minutes to complete try printing a page.

  The RAID system is a failed drive so it's currentl status "degraded".  I installed two new discs and got a replacement 3rd on the way after the latest RAID driver ver. 8.9 to 8.8 for the Intel of current top technical issues site. According to the Intel site, we reported recurring and random disk failure with version 8.9, which they have not been able to reproduce in their laboratory, but say that returning to version 8.8 has solved the problem for users with this problem.
