• Is it worth the upgrade 4th Gen extreme 6th Gen with multi-Express configuration?

  I have a 4th gen extreme and 3 airport base express (2nd generation), each set up to expand, all connected to speakers of different sizes for listening to music.

  Everything is on a floor, not a big house, 920 square feet.

  I recently updated my Comcast service to 250 extreme.  Connected by ethernet, last night and got the 275 - ish down.  Pretty amazing.

  I have actually never connect by ethernet, everything is wireless.

  I have a recent Mac in the room more far-of-router, when I do everything.  A 3rd generation Apple TV is also in the farthest room.

  I got a refurb had 6 extreme Gen this week to try to take advantage of the extreme service 250 (I know that I won't do the same ethernet - connects, but...

  I am on the fence about the 250 thing).

  Implementation of the 6th gen extreme proved to be impossible - it just would not be put in place and I kept getting "unexplained error', whether on Mac, iphone, or ipad.  All new.

  And I'm pretty good with this sorta thing.

  So I thought, forget it, I'll return it.  Probably defective.

  My question is:

  With the multi-express in place, it is useful to make the new ac-router with "n" 3 express on the network?  Or should I just keep the low extreme, 4th-gen my extreme internet service 250 etc..

  If you want to quickly get wireless, the only improvement will be a direct connection to the AC on 5 GHz router which means close and staff.

  The express will get no improvement because they are Wireless-N devices... and are perfectly adapted to the existing EI Gen4.

  The answer is no...

  Unless you can get the router AC in a place that the computer connects to the it's 5 GHz directly... which means the same room or adjoining room, perhaps.

  You need to run ethernet (or even EOP adapters are not up to 250mbps) to a location near the Mac.

• Question of Radeon Upgrade XPS Gen 5

  Hello

  I am running a Radeon X 1950 Pro in my XPS 5 but think of upgrading to a HD4870 or a HD4850. I don't see any obvious problems of the requirements they ask for, apart from the requirement of power for the HD4870, but can anyone confirm if my system suitable for such an upgrade?  And would I need an upgrade of power for the 4870 or I'll be ok with my 460W?

  I am running:

  OS: Vista 34 bit

  Processor: Pentium 4 3.4Ghz

  RAM: 4 GB

• Upgrade of the fourth Gen Time Capsule

  I have one Capsule 2 TB fourth generation model A1409) and it turned out to be very reliable.  Unfortunately, the installed HARD drive is finally running out of storage space and so I'm looking to upgrade.  I searched the web and found a lot on the Time Capsule hard drive upgrade, but the results are usually on other models and with smaller discs etc..

  If possible, I would like to install a reliable 4 TB drive in my fourth Gen T.C. to be used as a primary backup for my MacBook Pro retina and my machine to Windows 10 ASUS T300 CHI 2-in-1.

  Are 4 TB of HARD drive is compatible with the fourth Gen Time Capsule?  And someone has nested together that they can recommend please?

  I keep reading that the Hitachi drives are the best players generally ultra low failure rate, but all Hitachi drives seem to be 7200 rpm disks and I have also read that drives to 5400 RPM 'Green' are the best for the time Capsule as they run cooler and consume less energy?

  I also read that drives Apple used to use the Hitachi drives but now sometimes use Wester Digital Caviar Green, who seem to have fail decently low too, although not as good as Hitachi?

  If I install a reliable 4 TB of HARD drive, I'll be very happy.

  4 TB hitachi (but they belong no longer to hitachi, it is now divided between Toshiba and WD) are a green car. IE 5400 RPM.

  But the 4 TB WD Green are very good readers. These are now available in sizes up to 6 TB... Although I'd stick to 4 TB because it's as much data as you want to lose in a go. One of these drives work ok in the TC.

  Remember that all drives fail eventually. If you use the TC for something else that backups... also use a secondary backup as well.

  Also, Windows is not super great on a TC... It reads the disks in FAT32 and have 4 GB file limits. It is too slow... much more slow than buying a good NAS drive, or an external drive that can be in NTFS format.

  The drive used in the Gen4 is a WD Green. If it worked very well for now... That's already 3-4years or more, then it should be ok.

  Note the Gen4 may die suddenly... do not think that will happen if the real TC gives out.

  I have a gen X1c 3rd with the TN FHD-slab. I don't really like this Panel and want to upgrade. What are the options I have, and where can I find parts?

  If possible, I would get the WQHD with touchscreen. Can I install it on my X1c?

  Second option would be to get IPS WQHD no touchscreen.

  Yes, I did an upgrade. I decided that I really want a touch screen, but these panels are not compatible with the other Assembly parts (display TN).

  Option 1:

  What I did was buy a LCD complete Assembly (WQHD + touch) on ebay opportunity from a gen2 X1C and swapped all including hinges, antenna cables and everything. Each piece is the same, or at least interchangeable, between gen2 & gen3 except for the LED cable.

  Screen + touchscreen is working perfect, but since the LED cable has a different size I can not connect, and so I don't get bluetooth, webcam, microphone, and ambient light sensor. Do not claim any of those personally, so ok for me.

  If anyone know of an adapter that can be used between gen2 and gen3 LED-cable, advice would be gratly appreciated!

  Option 2:

  If you only want to upgrade to an IPS display, you can simply buy the Panel and change in yourself. Bit of a delicate mod however, you have to disassemble the entire LCD screen, and it is maintained by a tape strong enough all way around. But doable...

  I have found no WQHD Panel which can be easily exchanged with the TN slab without changing many others leave. Option 1 and 2 above are probably the only way to go.

  Upgrade to 12.3.2.35 on Windows 7. It worked for about 10 minutes before everything started continuous crashing and apparently broke my iPod classic 5th gen. Now, no version of iTunes will work on my computer and my iPod think there nothing about this (while the investigation of my computer still shows 30 GB in use), and will not even try to sync.   In fact, I do not recognize all of the listed processor as being ever used in a HP laptop. The other thing I will say is extremely unlikely if you are facing a situation of no-post that the fault is the processor. Not impossible, but highly unlikely. Beep codes are not very reliable. The question is almost certainly the motherboard, not the processor.

• IPad 3rd gen to overwrite/reset after IOS upgrade

  I have an ipad - A1430 on the iPad (3rd generation) Wi - Fi + cell - and have updated to 9.3.4 and 9.3.5 IOS in the last days.

  Two upgrades have caused a significant of the screen changes and regular downturn freezes or resets - every three minutes. The iPad is pretty useless at the moment, I can't do anything more than a few minutes without freezing or reset - all solutions?

  Have you tried a hard reset of your iPad by pressing the sleep/wake and Home buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with the Apple logo and then release the buttons?

  No, it isn't. The iPad Mini will support iOS 9.2.1 and if you try to update, then you can update to the latest iOS only.

  You don't hallucinate, but this isn't what you think. This is a normal behavior under 5.x - Apps that are be recompiled under ART (time of execution of android) trigger this message on reboot.

  I understand from your question, that streaming of your iTunes library to your Apple TV (1st generation) does not work as you would expect after an update. To resolve this situation, I suggest you read the information in the following article to ensure that your Apple TV is paired with your iTunes library.

  Pair Apple TV with your iTunes library

  1. Make sure your computer is turned on, and iTunes is open.

  2. On your Apple TV, choose settings > computers > add shared iTunes library and make a note of the code.

  3. Click on the button of the Apple TV near the top left of the iTunes window, and then enter the password.

  Elements of stream to your TV

  1. Pair Apple TV with your iTunes library, if you have not already (see instructions above).

  2. Make sure that the computer you want to stream is turned on and iTunes is open, and then do one of the following:

     • Stream your iTunes library: on your Apple TV, choose settings > computers, and select the iTunes library you want.

  You misunderstand my role here. I do not work for HP and I'm not the order desk. I am a user final companions. The laptop has a program backup and restore installed where you can make the recovery discs or a USB key to reinstall the software factory on a new hard drive or SSD SSHD.

  You will have to find a SSHD and will make install. HP does not offer that service and I also do not, of course. It can affect your warranty. If you let us know your country of residence, we can find a good deal on the parts you want.

  (1) single purchase guaranteed compatible memory modules memory manufacturers.

  2) install in pairs of identical modules.

  (3) do not mix and match capacities and manufacturers brands unless you like really surprises.
