  • Change the audio output default usb headset speaker 3000 Microsoft livecaht

Yesterday, when I ran my Rosetta Stone language software that I heard noise coming from my newly installed Microsoft Live Chat 3000 USB headset, today, when I run the software, the microphone still works. But the sound comes through the speakers of the laptop. I looked through Windows and cannot find a place to tell windows to use the headphones to the audio output.

I saw a similar problem on this site and followed the recommendation to remove the Chuck and download the latest driver on your part and re - install but still the sound comes through the computer speakers.

Can my children re-configured something but he does not confess to it. But I do not understand why remove then re-loading the drivers does not work. I use Windows XP SP3 entirely under license and updates.

I have them just a couple of days ago take their back and try something else?

    Thank you

  • USB headset will often stop after a youtube vid.

I have a logitec USB headset, which seems to work fine, but it stops at certain places. Finish or do pause for a youtube vid is the only one that I encounter the most. Generally its between one and the next sound execution. Never during.

A few times he could stop sound playback of my internet browser while always playing the sounds of windows OS, although it is more often a complete silence. Including any other program I could have started before noticing the problem occurred.
    I checked the following:
    -Listening properly configured
    -USB driver: update
    -Pilot helmet: is not necessary
-Energy setting for USB ports disabled
What follows I have use to solve my problem:
-Soft reboot by reconsignation and if it fails
-Remove and reconnect the USB headset
For me, my solutions above sound like an inadequate software framework that sometimes can be reset by reconsignation and must sometimes be reset by say / reconnect the headset.
Any help on this? Another thread, I found and read on this was not very helpful.

    Uh, no.

What on Earth has this to do with improvements?

To the OP: you give a lot of great information except the essential!

    Re-post what gives:

    * make, phone number name and model of your PC/computer.

    * is this a recent or ongoing problem?

    * have you recently updated from XP or Vista before this arising?

  • Logitech usb headset not automatically activated when it is plugged

On my old XP computer, whenever I plugged my Logitech USB headset, they are automatically detected and enabled, the its path from the speakers to the headphones when the pc has detected the and back to speakers when headphones unplugged, without me having to enter anything. On my new 64 bit Windows 7 pc, I have to open the Sound / select USB Logitech headset and set them as default. On the removal of the helmet, then I have to reverse the sequence. Both PCs have its Soundblaster cards.

Is there a way to allow the pc to automatically detect the helmet and set them as value by default when it is connected, and vice versa when disconnected, without having to open the audio window all the time.

    Hello

It will automatically be in headset mode when you plugin and when you remove the headset it will move to sprakers.

I suggest you to follow these steps and check if that helps:

    Method 1:
Try to run this under fixit and check if it helps:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/tips-for-fixing-common-sound-problems

    Method 2:
Also, try to update the latest drivers for the sound card and check if it helps:

  • Logitech USB Headset comfort micro works with XP, but not with Windows 7

Hello.  I recently got a new computer with Windows 7.  I also have one with XP Pro.  My Logitech Comfort USB headset works great with my XP computer, but the microphone on my headset does not work with my computer of W7.  The headphones work fine, I can hear loud and clear.  There is no problems appearing in Device Manager.  Windows installed all the drivers when I plugged it in, it recognizes my helmet and said that it works correctly.  I ran the function of problem solving and it's supposed to be working very well.  Plug into my XP computer and it works fine.

I tried several 'solutions' Troubleshooting over the few days without result, including the verification of all the sound levels (all 100%), ensuring that drivers is common (they are), to tweak the settings sound in various ways, (possibly reset to defaults), making sure Windows is up to date, blah blah blah.  The Compatibility Center Windows says that my helmet is compatible with W7.

I looked everywhere and, with the exception of when someone has their Mute microphone or set low volumes, there doesn't seem to be a response to this problem, but there are a lot of people who have this and not only with Logitech headsets.

Logitech forums say that it is a Microsoft problem, W7 has a compatibility problem.  I don't know what else to do to get my microphone to work.

I would really appreciate any suggestions beyond the ones I've tried.   Thanks in advance.

    Moki

    Hi Moki-mo,

The headphones came with the installation software? If so, install the software on the Windows 7 computer. If this does not resolve the problem, visit the Windows 7 Compatibility Center to make sure that the headset is compatible with Windows 7.

  • Error message receiver: headphones may not be installed correctly and Sennheiser U 320 USB headset no longer works.

Original title: USB headset not recognized by windows 8

I have headphones Sennheiser U 320 USB that I got about 6 months before, it worked fine up until this point. The sound no longer plays through the headphones, he just playing through the speakers. I reinstalled my audio drivers and I tried to put the default audio headset in playback devices but the headphones don't even appear. When I right click on the space empty and check see the disconnected devices that they don't even appear. I don't know what to do at this point. At the time where they worked I got a few messages in the status bar system that says my helmet might not be installed correctly, I tried to fix it but didn't know what to do so I swept, then they just stopped working all together.

There seems to be something weird with the usb it comes spontaneously started working and then when I unplugged and plugged again it does not work.

    Hello

For a better understanding of the issue, I would need more information on your side.

    1. are you able to connect and use other USB devices on the computer without any problem?

    2. don't the problem occurs when you connect the headphones on another computer in Windows 8?
    3. What is the brand and model of the computer?

I suggest to uninstall and reinstall the Device Manager USB controllers and check to see if it helps.

    (a) press on the Windows key + R, type devmgmt.msc.

    (b) expand USB controllers, click drivers.

    (c) click on Properties, click on the Uninstall tab.

    (d) click OK.

    (e) restart the computer and it will update automatically pilots.

Note: You can also install the latest Chipset driver on the computer manufacturer site.

  • Can you iPhone 7 connect to USB headset

    Hello!

I am the owner reasonably high-end headphones Sennheiser Momentum M2 wireless. It connects to my iPhone via bluetooth or using removable 3.5 mm plug + cable. When I use it with my MacBook, I connect USB cable to the USB port on my MacBook Pro to listen to the audio quality (M2 these headphones have a micro-USB connector).

It made me wonder if I could connect my M2 headset with my iPhone 7 using a micro-USB male for cable male-lightning and listen to music when, for example, the battery is dead, or when I want the best quality audio.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to answer my question.

I would use this hardware with Final Cut ProX 10.2.2 and Garageband 10.1.0.1

A quick search seems to indicate the latest version of the driver to be 1.2.1 - there was no 1.8.1 I could find. It has been out for more than a year, so no mention of El Capitan, but it could work. I'll make sure that you have the right to download and try again.

  • Logitech USB Headset H530 NOT Plug and Play

Just got a Logitech USB Headset H530 - Logitech docs don't say "no driver required" but my computer says differently. Running Vista Home Premium SP 2 64-bit. Plug them in French - is going through the routine "find the pilot, can find no driver." I plug it into another system of 64-bit Vista Home Premium SP 2 and they work!

Sequence of driver shown on this machine...

    USB driver Composite
    Logitech H350 headset
    USB Human Interface Device
I never see the other two - it just stops do not find anything for the "unknown device". I scanned the forums here and besides anything. Seems to me that my system does not find the right sequence of events (Composite then HID).

    Any help is appreciated!

    Jim

    Hi Jim,.

What is the brnad and model of the PC, you cannot install the USB headphnes on?

What is the brand and model of the PC headset works on?

I suggest to remove all devices external and other devices in your computer, then restart and try installing the headset.

You could go in Device Manager, click the view tab at the top and select hidden devices.

You can remove all instances of the headphones and other devices which are not connected, and then restart the computer.

As stated in your second post, what chipset driver version you did install (version number in particular, not "the last" please)?

  • Logitech USB headset mic has stopped working

Windows 7 - headset stopped working suddenly

Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

About 5 days ago my Logitech USB headset microphone has stopped working.  The helmet always plays the sound, but the microphone is not input all the sounds.

    Things I've done:

-Uninstalled / reinstalled the Driver Headset, USB Drivers, & sound card driver.

-helmet I tried on another pc (it worked)

-tried headphones different USB on my machine (a no exit worked / entry)

-tried headphones with input jack then the sound card. (has no output worked / entry)

-bought a new sound card and used the headset with Sockets (has no output worked / entry)

-tried all the possible configurations of devices of entry & exits in my sound options (nothing worked)

-Re-enabled the sound card integrated and connected only (output worked / entry has no)

1 odd thing happens.  If I smack physically the pc microphone picks up which leads me to believe that somewhere the sound is just set really low rather than not working do not at all even if I turned upwards never slider that I can find to max volume.  I get no error.  Nothing has changed recently with my pc.

Technical support of Logitech said simply that my 500 DSP is no longer supported in the version of Windows 7 SP1.  Logitech provides no drivers, etc except through Microsoft.  Microsoft web site shows incompatible.

But after going through Control Panel/convenience store, he started working for the micro and headphones.  Hooray!
  • Bluetooth Windows 7 USB port problem

    Hello

I use a bluetooth class 1 dongle (manufacturer unknown) with the V 8.00.03 Premium toshiba bluetooth stack and a bluetooth headset. The specifications for the dongle are: Bluetooth V1.2, compatible USB V1.2/2.0

I have a strange problem when changing the USB dongle is plugged. If I change the dongle on another USB port, searching for devices fails. I tried to uninstall the battery and of course remove device from the bluetooth Manager window.

Also, strangely, when I plug the dongle on a USB extension on the same port, it does not either. When I put the dongle into the same USB port it works fine as usual.

I want to change the USB port so that I can get the best reception, like its plugged in to the back at the moment. Also, I want to use the usb expansion for the same reason, to bring out above the office. Oddly, if, as I say, it does not work with the extension (just a regular cable with USB male on one end and female on the other to plug the dongle in.)

Is this something to do with voltage drop down a cable? And regarding the change of the ports usb is it something to do with ports being installed on this USB port bluetooth only? I don't know exactly how ports bluetooth works, how they settle etc.

    Thanks much for any help.

    Hello

    > Also, strangely, when I plug the dongle on a USB extension on the same port, it does not either. When I put the dongle into the same USB port it works fine as usual.

I think you're wrong here buddy
If you use another manufacturer's computer, and if you have problems using it, you should check the page of computer manufacturing support.

In my opinion the question isn t linked to Toshiba BT stack but to the USB ports on your computer.
