USB ports still under voltage after power off

Hi, I use a sleekbook of 6-1260ez want on Win8 x 86. After I power the system off, the USB ports have always power. The wired mouse LED is still. In addition, the laptop batteries are drained after 2 or 3 days without being plugged in, although the power is off.

I installed the latest chipset drivers. the option "Scan now" on your support page is not find old drivers. What can I do? Is this a warranty case?

P.S. This thread has been moved from the Notebook - HP ProBook ZBook, EliteBook, Compaq, slate/Tablet PC, Armada, LTE for laptops - pavilions, Presario. -Hp moderator of the Forum

This computer has a usb 2.0 support. That so you can recharge your cell phone or your mp3 player with the computer turned off. I found and read the manual of the computer.  That is why your mouse is always on.  Then you'll have to unplug the mouse when you're not using it. I hope help you.

  • NEITHER USB 6343 negative DC voltage after power function generator

    Hey all,.

I'm having a problem with my DAQ.  I'll generate a square wave in Labview with a generator function and that the output to my DAQ.  The function exited through the acquisition of data very well; However, when the production is stopped, a negative voltage remains equal to the amplitude ("drawing" below).  This happens if I use the express VI DAQAssistant, or manually create the channel, generate the function and the function read/write on the channel.  This tension continues even after the VI is finished running.  The only way to get rid of it is physically cut the DAQ and turn it back on.  Any thoughts on why this might be, or how to fix?

    Start VI

    ____|____|____|____|____|____| _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ 0V

    ____|____|____|____|____|____|____________ - A V

I thought about it.  I had to add some more to the clock.  I had added a data point in the table of waveform which was written for the acquisition of data because the timer wrote n samples, instead of n + 1

So, to recap: I pulled the table leave the waveform data, inserted a '0' at the end of the wave, reintroduced the data of Y in the form of wave and incremented to the timer of a sample (because I added a sample for waveform data).

  • USB ports do not respond after boot to Windows 7 - HP Pavilion Elite HPE

I turned on a HP Pavilion Elite HPE this morning and none of the USB ports work under Windows 7.

Mouse and USB keyboard work well in the BIOS Setup.  But after Windows starts, it is as if he found neither.

I tried to start Windows in Safe Mode and last known good Configuration and the behavior is the same, the mouse and keyboard do not work even if they do it in the BIOS.

I tried a different mouse and keyboard and Windows behavior is the same.

Now, I would like to have active remote destop. Difficult to solve without an input device.

I found a solution for Windows 7 x 64 failing to detect any USB device on all ports USB to a HP Pavilion Elite HPE-500f.

After that backup, read and edit the registry remotely to run the utility of Microsoft Devcon registry run key, Devcon announce an error message 39 for USB hubs.  Enter 'Windows error 39 usb hub' in a search engine led me to the next web page that describes the resolution of the problem. I removed the UpperFilters also well described and restarted key and until then. -See more at: http://www.tricksguide.com/solve-device-manager-error-code-39-on-usb-controller.html

  • EliteDesk 800 G1 USDT: usb ports do not provide enough power

We have a scanner usb requiring 500mA of power.  However, for many of our clients using HPs, the usb ports do not provide enough power to the scanner causing the application to crash.  Some customers use the HP EliteDesk 800 G1 USDT, others use HP zero client t310.  Connect the scanner to a usb hub powered solves the problem every time.

Y at - it changes, they can do for the Bus USB controllers to ensure that a particular port will be able to provide 500mA so they did not need to buy a usb powered a system hub?  Or do you have another suggestion?

    Thanks in advance.

I'm not familiar witht eh models accurate but 500MA is the output for USB 2.0 max but 3.0 can go higher have you tried usingn 3.0 ports if not you can also get a cable Hat uses the power of 2 ports.  Many systems have problems with the only Scanners USB and power supply.

U2415 - artifacts monitor after power off for a period of time

I'm running Win 8 Pro 64 bit, Asus GTX 760. Connected to the U2415 using the miniDP to DP cable.

It is: after turning off my monitor for a period of time (PC fixed IT), 2 hours or more, after turning it back on, I see lines on the screen.

I will need to restart the PC for it to be back to normal.

It will not happen if I turned OFF the monitor for a short period. Only when I turned OFF for a few hours.

    Any ideas? Thank you.

I downloaded a video on Dropbox. I had it turned on after turning off for about 3 hours.

    Hi Chris, just an update.

A local forumer had discovered how to solve.

It was the scene of DP1.2. By default, it is set to "Disable". After that I put to 'Activate' and test it for 2 days, everything seems fine now.

Hopefully someone will find this useful.

    Thanks Chris.

  • USB port on V3 - 574 G turns off after stop

    Hello
I noticed that one of the two USB3 ports on my laptop continues to hold power even after that I stopped it completely. Thus, an external hard drive connected to it will continue to run as if the phone was on. Moreover, the port seems to work fine. Is this a normal behavior?

    Thank you.

Looking for Acer quick access to your programs, should also be an icon in your taskbar. There is an option to turn on or turn off power to the 2 port USB 3, when the computer is turned off. It is a function to load other devices off the 2nd port usb3.

  • USB ports do not work after waking up Satellite A200 from sleep mode

After that I spend my Satellite A200-244 "sleep" or "hibernate" USB ports do not work!

    Hi mate,

    already tried this:

Open start and type Device Manager and then press ENTER, to start Device Manager. Click on the sign + next to "Controllers of Bus USB" and then in the list, you should see some devices called 'USB hub root'. For each one, click right, hit properties, go to the power management tab and uncheck the box "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power." Then restart.

Maybe it works. Another solution would probably be this Microsoft KB document:

The restart afret optical mouse connected to the USB port does not illuminate and the XP system displays the error message on the device not recognized on USB port.

Ben is right. After the installation of the operating system as a first step, you need to install driver chipset.
Please see the download page for Toshiba under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com
There you can find all the drivers for your model of laptop including driver chipset.

  • USB ports no longer works after L7680 OfficeJet Pro printer installed...

I am running Windows XP Pro SP3.  Before you load the printer all my ports worked (4 on the monitor, 2 on the front of the PC).  Once I'm installing all of them stop working.  The only option is to work with one on the front of the printer.   I am able to get my Western Digital HD to work on the USB port printer, but this one is fickle and only works sometimes (I have to restart to operate when it gives out).  I'm not able to use on the printer port USB flash drives. I f the usb port on the printer does not work, so I have no options.  I tried with a powered hub and it works at all.

I was chatting with representatives of HP without result. If a HUB on the printer does not work it is a useless tool for me.  I need one that has no readers, etc.  Is this a reason to return to the item under warranty?  Or y at - it a way to get this thing to work.

HP wants to tell me it's Dell.  Dell says it's HP.  I'm so confused and frustrated.

What I discovered, after about 3 years, the computers are generally obsolete.  My computer was 1.1 ports and the printer connection 2.0.  As see you all new USB components say they are 2.0, but can work with 1.1.  Long story short, after reading this somewhere, I decided that I had to upgrade my ports.  I went to Microcenter (they have an online store as well) and bought a USB 2.0 PCI Card for $11.00.  At opened her top and broke in the new port and everything works well again.  It may not be what you want to hear, but it was all I could do.  I was told all empty printer resources USB and this is why the upgrade was necessary.  Hope this makes some sense to you.

  • Satellite A135-S2286 - USB ports does not work after BIOS update

I recently had the dreaded BIOS password prompt problem. I checked online to the toshiba support site and took the laptop to a toshiba authorized service center and is fixed by getting the updated BIOS updated to 1.60, but after update BIOS, none of my USB ports work.

When I connect a USB device, a warning from yellow pop up comes up unrecognized USB device. The same USB device works fine on other computers/laptops. I searched online for a solution and found on a lot of people have the same problem, but did not find any fix for this error.

It will be useful, if someone has a solution for this error.

    Hey Buddy,

Is there yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager next to USB ports or they appear correctly?

If you notice a yellow exclamation you must remove the USB port and restart the computer. All USB ports are installed automatically, you do not need an additional driver.

I hope that it helps :)

  • Satellite L855 - 14 p - USB ports do not work after the mode 'sleep'

    Heya guys,

I have a strange problem today. The 2 USB inputs on the right side of the laptop (idk who is 2.0 or 3.0) does not work with the reason I can not perceive. These 2 guys are on different days, but in the same way. A month ago, I plugged the mouse USB wireless to one of them, then entered mode 'sleep'. When I came back, I discovered the work of mouse aint.

Then I realized the port I plugged the key USB has no electiricity inside no more. I found it very strange and continuous without using the port of broken, until yesterday. Yesterday, I made the same mistake (a la mode "sleep" in a USB port plugged into the other port - work-) and I have re-opened, the 2nd port is broken in the same way, too. I've mastered Manager devices, regedit, but it has no use. This lead me to think his could be a hardware problem, but how can be possible? Is this a coincidence?

Now, I have to use my 3rd and last port on the right side of the laptop with a USB duplicator.
You have any ideas? Can it be a software problem?

Understand this correctly? The USB ports mentioned don t work even after restarting a new laptop?

In this case, it could be really a hardware problem
But before talking about hardware problems, I recommend to recover the laptop using Toshiba recovery.

Defining the notebook back to factory settings will help you identify the problem: If the USB ports wouldn't work, this s hardware problem.
