Use of data blackBerry Passport Standby mode

Hello, I have a problem with the use of data from the idle mode on my passport for BlackBerry. IT uses the largest amount of data, more than any other about 650 mb in 8 days. When I enter the application manager and tap the Standby Mode it constantly shows in any case "no use of data during the last 48 hours" and the leeks of data... could you explain what happens?

Probably, it is the synchronization of e-mail and other data for example, if you have a cloud service like box or dropbox sync to your device.

With the Z10 there no compression of data more like before with the older BlackBerrys. Basically, BlackBerry exchanged compression for speed.

When you go into settings > cell phone and scroll down, you will see a list of apps. Under the name of applications will be the amount of cell data used since you last reset statistics. While you're at it, turn off the cell data for the apps you don't want to use it. If you go all the way down, you will see the System Services. Tap which kind to see what installed apps use data.

  • Using primary data backup recovery

    Hi all

Here we have an environment dataguard with db1 (db_unique_name) as primary and db2 (db_unique_name) Physics of the standby database. We have configured dataguard in environments of 10 g and we don't use a grid control. And now we want to configure rman for incremental backups. After you set up, we took full backup successfully in the newspapers of the previous day and archive. While the test case we dropped a primary data file and tried to get it back. It displays the following error. Also when I tried "overlapping backup" since the primary, is to show that all backups taken to sleep are "expiration". But the same backups show as 'available' RMAN connected standby mode. Can someone help with this problem?

  • BlackBerry Blackberry Passport engulfed my data while I was asleep

My BB Passport engulfed my data while I was asleep and I don't know if it was my camera or my carrier. I called my provider and they said: "Yes your data have been used 3-5 a.m." but they don't tell me how. They suggested that I look at my 'event log' of the phone to see if there was an update to the App. No such thing as 'event log' exists on a passport of Blackberry and the 'Usage.log' file which is generated from the BBlink is empty. Then, on my phone, data services is the position, but it is also connected to the Wifi, the automatic update is disabled and but there is no e-mail or any communication at all. I want to know how this fact happened to prevent it from happening again. My phone is as naked as it came in the BB store. No additional Apps or social media communications. I only use BBM when I am connected to wifi and I use the phone to check my emails (without attachments or anything like that) and make a few calls per month. It is therefore as important as if we actually stole my phone! Any ideas how to solve this problem?

1 - the device must use wifi if (a) wifi is enabled, (b) there is a connection to a wifi network, and (c) there is a flow of data on the wifi network. If the mobile network is activated, if the data service is activated on the mobile network, and if there is a connection and flow, the unit will switch for mobile if it must. I have no way of knowing what happened or why, only that I'm not surprised.

    2. I don't know what in the stock device software. You can install to alert you, but I've never looked.

    3. I don't think that there is something that has changed.

    4. in the settings of mobile network, you can leave the mobile phone on any network turn off the data. Calls and SMS will work. Data and anything that uses data or any application that can only use mobile data won't work on the mobile network. But if the wifi is enabled, etc. it will be as data on wifi service.

    5 see #4

    6 seriously doubt

    7. I would like to purchase enough mobile data to well exceed what you're likely to use. If this is not possible, then that's a different issue and I know that you do what you have to do. But modern smartphones use a large amount of data for many reasons.

  • Apple music and use of data in offline mode

I need someone to address this concern:

I downloaded a number of playlists and songs on my iPhone for offline listening. Even though I'm in my car, I have to listen to these songs & playlists. I noticed that I always use data for the application of music and also some data in my system services on my iPhone.

Why is this happening? I was under the assumption that if I listen to the music that has been downloaded for listening offline, there is no use of data...

    Thank you

Your music will be always connect to Apple and validate that you have an active Apple music subscription so that you can play music downloaded in offline mode. I suspect that's what you see, unless the use of data is important.

  • BlackBerry smartphones, what exactly is Standby mode?

In a quest to figure out how to activate the stop screen when I want to, I found the sleep mode, what exactly does.  All the manual says about it is to press mute to switch to standby mode, but does not say anything on this subject.  "Sleep mode", what exactly?  He always give me alerts calendar and phone calls and other alerts, or is he basically disabled?

    Jesse

The standby mode is just a low power state to conserve battery power. He closed the backlight and screen and does not meet the presses until do you wake. Your notifications, phone calls, etc. are not affected by it.

The case serves the same purpose: it has a magnet that is detected by the phone to put it to sleep. If you go to the notification / ringtone profile settings, you will notice 2 different setting: off the case and in the case.
