  How to pass in variables or arguments to start using the command line when starting a native ActionScript application? For example, I have my app MySweetWidget call and it was compiled with Adobe AIR runtime in captivity so now I have MySweetWidget.exe.

  In the command line, I call MySweetWidget.exe and would like to pass in variables or properties of the application. I guess that these variables are read from the loaderInfo.parameters object.

  Please let me know if the Adobe AIR runtime supports passing the parameters to native execution. If so, I would like to help determine the correct format of how pass variables. So would you want to read those loaderinfo.parameters object?

  I have a secondary to a VI (VI1) in which one another VI (VI2) is charged. VI1 is used as a module for an Action step in TestStand. Vi2 has controls ActiveX as ExpressionEdit and Adobe PDF reader etc. VI1 VI2 in charge in a subgroup of experts and calls Dialog.vi Modal start. I put 'Show the front panel when it is called' true to VI1 so that the VI appears when the sequence is executed.   Found the solution to the question . The problem is that the front of the VI in which start Modal Dialog.vi is used should not be open before start Modal Dialog.vi is called. In the files that I have included in my previous post, .vi ExprEdit Test (does not work) had the ability to 'See the façade when it is called' enabled in the properties of VI. It was the origin of the problem. When I disabled this option, all started working well (ActiveX controls do not disappear during the execution of the sequence). I had accidentally turned off in .vi ExprEdit Test (work) that worked. A comprehensive review of the differences between the 2 screws led to find the cause of the problem.

  I am creating a cRIO application that must lay a dynamic number of processes based on events that occur during execution.   Can you give us an overview of how you are trying to do now?  I ask because you should be able to use the same method that you used on the Windows.

  If your project contains your main VI as well as the screws, you want to call dynamically, all screws must be in the same place.  So, you should be able to provide the path to the dynamic VIs using the method of access to your VI main road and replacing the main name of VI with the dynamic name of VI.  So that it works, make sure you deploy all the screws under your cRIO controller.

  

  There are no restrictions, I see then this gives a shot and let us know if you have more trouble with it.

• Log off of Windows XP, used to take just a 'start' > action 'disconnect '. Now, it takes 2 tries. What could be the cause?

  I had my Windows XP system since late 2004.  Started by Microsoft Suite Office 2003 and were updated on the way to the 2007 Office Suite.  Several months ago, I started having trouble get demand to 'leave' to work properly.  Previously it took 1 try (start > disconnect) to return me to the real stop screen.  Now on the first try, the "flutter" desktop icons, but the screen does not recognize the request.  TThen I need to redo the request, then it will go to the closing of the screen.  An update of Microsoft somewhere along the way could cause this?  I worry, someone could have gained you will join somehow and's ' to watch' my activities.  I have Norton 360 V5 security.

  If it's a Microsoft update that causes the problem, people around the world who have installed Microsoft updates would scream their heads off, and they are not.

  Have you run your system with completely disabled or uninstalled Norton completely (using the removal tool, which you can download) to see if it is indeed Norton?  You can always reinstall Norton again, but I think that most of the aid here will tell you that sometimes Norton can cause particular problems.  I would ditch it at least temporarily out of the equation so that you don't ask about it.

  If you start using safe, Norton should not charge anything, so your system behaves in Mode safe?

  And all just because Norton says that your system is clean, does not mean that it is clean.  It simply means that Norton doesn't find anything he knows.

  No single antivirus scanner seems to know everything, so it is prudent to have more than one good AV weapon in your arsenal... and sometimes new virus definitions come out several times a day (for some AV products).  Norton knows everything, I assure you.

  Here are some scanners free good reputation than circles run around Norton.  I would consider at least let take a look at your system and you can uninstall them if that is your desire.
