• Upgrade path from VCAP5 VTC at VCIX6 VTC

  Someone said that if you currently have a DCD VCAP5 and a VCAP5-DCA, that only, you will need to pass a test to become VCIX6.  But if you have only a VCAP5-DCD, you have to pass the CR-VCIX6 and VCIX6-DCA.

  Is this true?

  I vcp5-VTC and I want to upgrade, so there is only one available path which is vcap but because that vsphere 6 is available.

  can I do vcix6-VTC?

  You can migrate to VCP6-VTC, you could do VCAP5-DCA or VCAP5-DCD, or you can wait VCIX6-VTC by releasing.

  But what is not said is that you will need to by a VCP6 VTC in order to qualify for VCIX6-VTC, or if your VTC VCP5 will be enough.

  There is also no news yet when examinations for VCAP5-DCA or DCD retires, keep in mind that it is only in 2014 when reviews of vSphere 4 has begun to retire.

  After VCP - VTC 5.5, I'm confused what to take certification path.

  I looked at the roadmap of certification:

  My question:

  Is it better to upgrade to VCP6 - VTC and wait for the VCIX6-VTC?

  or

  Go to VCAP5-DCD / VCAP5-DCA

  Depends on what you use the most and how much time you have done on the VCAP exams. If no then I wanted to wait for VCIX-6 and just do one of these exams and then you will get automatically the VCP6. Rumors are VCIX exams are early next with the beta version due to arrive any day now

  I just want to know that do you offer after VDCA550 past, time to go to VCAP5-DCD or suggest any new certification?

  My goal is to keep groving alongside Server (because now I do not want the client certificates or network).

  Well, I took my VCAP5-DCA exam in March and I made the decision to wait VCIX6-DCD review out. Who will save the long-term efforts if you have 2 VCAP5 qualities, you always spend a DCA or DCD VCIX6 when it comes out. If you wait, you can pass just the new DCD when it came out and instantly combine both to be VCIX6-VTC!

  Personally, I don't think that it won't take too long. I hope that maybe some ads at the time around this year's VMworld. It might be useful to ask Josh Andrews, even if he isn't able to tell yeq

  The DCD seems to need a lot of experience in design and theoretical knowledge; involving white papers, best practices and recommended architectures. It is an intensive review very 'reading' with the multiple choice questions and some design, questions.6 style Visio drawing

  I think you could start preparing now, even from 5.5 print blue. When the Blue 6 printing comes out, check what is different and know that the material also. There are a lot of things to cover so early start will always benefit you in the long run.

  I currently hold certifications VCP - NV & VCP5-VTC (valid through March 2017), I intend to make further progress on both tracks, enjoy your AIDS to organize my trip

  
  I had to take certs in that order VCAP5-DCA, VCAP5-DCD, then VCIX-NV, but later I found that VMware has introduced VCIX6-VTC & VCIX6-NV, so my question is.

  1. should I wait for the VCIX6 series, so I can save at least an examination cost?
  2. VCIX6 is equivalent to VCAP5-DCA + VCAP5 - DCD? or at least they cover a part of the design and the admin?
  3. Will be my current certs can be used as a condition sine qua non for VCIX6?

  I don't think take you less exams - there will be 2 exams for VCIX6-VTC and 1 (or 2) for VCIX6-NV - so eventually you will take at least 3, the same as you would if you did the VCAP5 existing-DCA / VCAP5-CR / VCIX-NV certifications you mentioned.

  Yes, VCIX is the equivalent level of the VCAP certification, focused on implementation and design.

  Hello. I've been tasked with finding a way to display information on the screen when the VTC. Similar to how the name of an endpoint that appears down to the center of the screen, I want to be able to display the ISDN and the password of a VTC on screen, so that users can disseminate this information to participants using the audio option only.

  I have search features of TMS and so far have not found a solution. Does anyone have any experience with what might point me in the right direction (assuming that it is still possible)?

  Only method is a manual method, already mentioned in previous answers, no way to automate this task with the features of the current software.

  It is a 2 day course that will allow you to take the exam VCP6-VTC.

  I am certified VCP5.5 and my certificate will be expired within six months from now.

  If please guide me to the path of realization and what should be my next course of action.

  Should I upgrade my VCP 6 certification and then pick VCAP6 VTC or its fine if I go directly to VCAP6 VTC.

  Based on the certification paths listed on the above web page, you must either hold a VCP6 VTC invalid, or a certificate of VCAP5 directly to VCAP6-VTC.

  With your current certification VCP5-VTC, you get VCP6-VTC certification before you can go for the advanced certification.

  I think the book will be overkill - I read a lot of people who have passed the exam after completing the basic training and little else.

  I just started working on preparation VCDX5-VTC. I finished VCP5/VCAP-DCA/VCAP-DCD in vSphere 5.0 and I would like to know if my VCDX5-VTC design should be based on vSphere 5.0, or it can also rely on the vSphere 5.5 infrastructure as well.

  I understand that a drawing of VCDX5 can be any version 5

  I believe you can also submit a version 6 design, although you are not awarded a VCDX5.
