  go to the reliability and performance monitor, then in the section reports on the left, click system diagnostics then delete all generated reports (click on each and then delete) in there, then try to generate the new report.

• Performance monitor reports OS check failure

  A few days ago Norton IS (to date) has reported that it had prevented a Trojan attack. I ran Norton Power Eraser and removed the Trojan horse. Also ran Malware Bytes it didn't report any problems.

  1. the performance reports monitor produces virus - anti but Norton is short. Have seen other posts of this topic and that it does not cause a problem, I'm happy wait for the fix fully tested in next SP.

  2. performance monitor reports also under alltests OS checks failed, version OS check Failed.

  3. I tried to run Fix IT for a similar sounding problem and get the message in case of problem cannot continue because an error has occurred. Download the utility for troubleshooting and enforcement it detects no problem.

  4. Furthermore, in performance under traceptHeader monitor, I get this message "the WMI class data service is not available.

  5. I tried to run restore but that crashes after it restarts.

  6 folder Admin Tools proved to be empty, but which were fixed by downloading a new set of tools.

  I presume that the Trojan horse did some damage before he was eliminated.

  It is better to repair Windows running or is there something else I need to do?

  Win 7 64 bit SP1 entirely up-to-date, Norton IS perfectly up-to-date.

  I get worried why my vmware does not show the actual performance (e.g., CPU utilization) when I use any virtual machine performance tab. For example performance tab shows 40% but in real (via the guest OS windows Task Manager) it uses 60-70%. Why is this? or I'm missing all the concepts here?

  It's actually the BONE that shows the correct use not invited.  The guest operating system must be monitored the vcenter Server.  Discover "inaccuracy of guest Performance counters' by Scott Drummonds for more information.

  The checkbox to activate the performance tab in my CF8 install debugging options will not be checked. When I try to use the performance monitor to monitor CF8 it does not work. Any ideas?

• iPad 1/2 fix for slow performance (finally!)

  After several years of desperately poor performance of my iPad 2 and original iPad, I finally understand how to behave reasonably well again.

  Before making this "correction" (you don't like it!), even my iPad menus have been slow to react.  After the correction, it rolls again.

  It turns out that native background apps, including Mail, can be incredibly hard on the performance of the iPad.  You wouldn't think that when the mail was not the app it would affect anything - but it makes.

  If you have a lot of emails (read or unread, is not serious), or have a large calendar and your menus are often jerky and the iPad seems to freeze every now and again once, for a few seconds, welcome to your 'solution '.

  Simply remove your accounts email and calendar of the iPad.  Simply access your e-mail via the web browser instead of using the Mail app can be all that it takes to find correct performance on your tablet.

  Your method of mail is a bit extreme, you may want to try all of my own below the solutions in the futture.

  All my old iPads and older iPads I started day/updated are ongoing enforcement just peachy keen on the last iOS without resorting to NOT use and delete content in the Mail application native iOS.

  In addition, with the native mail app, if you use iMAP, mail actually remains on the mail server. It is not, in fact, get downloaded or stored on an iDevice, himself.

  When you create new folders in iOS App Mail, you, in fact, create folders in your e-mail/s account on the servers of e-mail service. Not on your iDevice.

  The only reason that the Mail app could be the cause of performance problems, it is that you have set mail to automatically extract the mail at a time interval that may be too short and the iDevice is constantly ping servers of e-mail for short mail a few minutes or less.

  I have my Mail application set for manual removal, so my iDevices are not constantly check new email every few minutes or less.

  Also Push mail off if mail out Internet ping the mail server permanently, either.

Avira is also good, but the free version has an unpleasant reminder screen (Google for instructions on how to disable it). The user can also run several real-time antivirus/firewall/security programs.
